A few days ago I noticed that on one of our faucets, if I closed the hot water side too fast there was a little bit of a rattle under the house. I thought I could handle it myself after asking Perplexity what it could be and installed a water arrestor. That didn't help so I thought, maybe it could be the strapping. I reached out to Handy Plumbing Man on a Saturday and they were quick to respond that they could have someone there on Monday. Monday morning came and their technician, Miguel, went down and found that one of the pipes they had worked on wasn't totally secured. No problem, mistakes happen. He said he'd call the office to get technicians over to check the strapping on the work below. I had to go into work but did get a message from them later on that day to see if they could get someone over the same day (Monday) to fix it. This is more on me that I had already gone into work, but they said they could do tomorrow morning at 8am. The guys, Carlos and Baltazar, came bright and early, went under the house and secured the pipe and then some. Awesome company!

Jorge, who works with him came out and did a thorough investigation of the place and provided a quote comparable, to the competition. The reason I went with these guys was Jorge impressed me with his attention to detail and thoughtfulness. He explained how pluming worked to me, potential issues with my setup that won't be addressed, what I need to watch out for. I felt like all the steps he laid out were reasonable and I knew very well the quirks with my particular system afterwards. Nothing much to talk about regarding delivery - prompt, on budget, on time, did everything that was promised. I'm no pluming expert, but didn't notice anything out of place from a cursory view. Didn't notice any leaks a couple days later. For future jobs, I'll still reach out to these guys. Hopefully it'll be for something smaller than overhauling my entire sewage system...

The job was complicated by 16 years of rust and hard water and pre-existing terrible cracked granite countertops that hadn't been sealed and protected well at all around the faucet area. Eddie was able to schedule me within 48 hours of my call and Jorge from #1 Honest Plumber showed up ready to go. He inspected the issues with my sink and gave me an extremely reasonable flat-price quote to do the work. I agreed and then watched as Jorge did a skillful surgery to excise what remained of the old faucet, patched up my terrible granite like a dentist would patch up a cavity, and installed and tested my new faucet and soap dispenser. Jorge was polite, friendly, professional, efficient, tidy, careful and didn't even roast me for my ham-fisted attempts at DIY work before he showed up. It doesn't get much better than that! Even though their warranty only lasted a year, they still came out free of charge and took a look. They patiently showed me with a camera where the roots were and let me know that the city would actually help me deal with the roots for free.
