Luis is simply great! Our air condition died on the hottest week of the year, Luis arrived the next day to investigate. He was very thorough in his examination. Even after discovering (and fixing) the issue, he checked the system once again to see everything is working as intended. We also have low pressure in one of the rooms. Luis was completely honest letting us know that the work required might be big and since we aren't using the room that often, perhaps we want to hold off on doing that at the moment. Most other service providers would try to get MORE money out of you, but not Luis. It was clear he wanted to do right by us, and give us all our options. After shopping around, I thought Luis and his team were different in 2 ways: 1) They were always responsive. Whether it was an email question at 10pm or a call/text on Saturday AM, Luis was available. His team did most of the job on Saturday bc that worked best w our schedule (rather than weekday). 2) Everything was very transparent. He matched/beat the other best offer, and he provided logical rationale for why a more cost-efficient unit (i.e., optimizing EER on a particular SEER) would be better than the "top of the line" A/C for us. Other competitors seemed like they wanted to push the most expensive unit. Overall, Luis and team did a great job start to finish. read more

The heating in our condo was not working, we hadn't used it for few years. We had replaced the water heater 2 years back. So, we had no idea what was wrong. After calling several places, Deluxe was able to send a technician out in two days. Luis, the technician was just great, right from his customer service skills to his knowledge and patience with the problem. He did not ask a thing about tube and pipes. He just went about his business and sorted out the problem - which was just pressure/water release, since the hot water was not flowing up. And their service fee including replacing the intake filter was $20 less that what others were quoting just to inspect! He also had time to chat and explain few things. Great service. read more

Luis was so responsive and helpful. Our air conditioner was not working and there was burning fumes coming out of our fan. Even though they were booked for three days he came right away to make sure it was safe for us to be in the house. He solved the problem and had us running back to normal in 1/2 an hour. Dec 12th - Luis confirmed by email (mycomfort@deluxe-air.com) he would come on Jan 2nd to remove my old AC and install a new one on January 4th. I am told no deposit is needed to reserve. He was aware that on January 3rd someone was fixing the floor underneath the AC and thus it was critical the unit would be removed in time by EOD January 2nd. He never replied to my inquiry about what time he would show up on January 2nd. January 2nd 9:16am - I called the office to ask when Luis would arrive. The receptionist didn't know who I was nor did she have me anywhere in her schedule. I told her I was expecting someone today to remove the AC as work was being done on my balcony the next day and that I was promised someone would be here today to remove the AC. January 2nd 9:24am - Receptionist calls back and tells me "the crew is on its way". January 2nd 11:00am - After waiting 1.5 hours with nobody having showed up or called, I tried to reach the receptionist again - no answers. Thus I left a voicemail asking where was the crew. January 2nd 1:12pm - After waiting all morning with again nobody calling me or showing up I tried to reach DeluxeAir through the various phone numbers they have. Again no answer. I left a voicemail asking for someone to call me back and let me know what's going on. January 2nd 2:19pm - After still nobody returning my calls, I successfully reached the receptionist and reminded her I had called earlier. She said she was surprised that her supervisor didn't call me back yet as she had left him a sticky note to call me! She said she would call him and get back to me. January 2nd 3:00pm - After still waiting unsuccessfully, I called the receptionist asking for her supervisor's phone number and name since I didn't have all day to wait for someone to call me back and wait at home for someone to show up. She give me Luis name and cell phone number. I forgot to ask the receptionist if the crew that was "on their way" in the morning had died in some horrible accident. But she did confirm she never had me on schedule. So I can either assumed she was lying when she called me in the morning or she had me confused with someone else. January 2nd 3:02 pm - I called and left Luis a voicemail reminding him that I have workers coming tomorrow to fix the balcony and asking for him to call me back. January 2nd 3:39pm - I leave an email to Luis (mycomfort@deluxe-air.com) to give him details of the timeline and ensuring he got my voicemail and a chance to reply to me. It is now January 4th 1pm and I still have not heard back from neither Luis nor anyone else at Deluxe Air trying to explain what happened or apologize. The bad news is that I had to cancel at the last minute the workers that were supposed to fix the floor under the AC because I couldn't find another contractor in time. The good news is that I didn't spend $9,300 with such an unreliable and unprofessional company. read more

Jesus and his team just left my house. After watching Youtube on duct cleaning, I was very skeptical! After 4 hours of micro managing and following the technicians around my home, these guys went above and beyond the call of duty! They cleaned my furnace and my air conditioner, floor and ceiling ducts for $555.00. I was so impressed I gave them $20.00 tip and I highly recommend them over any other company. I think they deserved more of a tip but, with Christmas and grand kids.... I think the difference is Luis the owner came to my home and showed my the system they were using and they did everything we discussed! Wow!! read more

They installed an air conditioning system and fixed an air duct issue for us. However, it was a very frustrating experience to try to get a follow up service for adjustments even though they promised they would do it quickly. I tried to contact Luis many times but he just doesn't respond to my requests in time. I am still waiting for a response! read more

If I could give 100 stars I would. Our air went out last night and I called several places down the list here on yelp. I was either told they were booked up until next week or I did not receive a call back. So next on my call list was Delux air. I received a call back earlier this morning and they squeezed me in today between 12-2. Luis arrived and was wonderful. He got our unit up and working in no time. He is VERY honest and professional. I had a horrible experience with Deluxe Air. They installed heating + air conditioning systems for us November of 2016. The job was very sloppy. They removed my original vent by mistake and left the ceiling open. They removed the original heating unit from a closet but left the closet open at the ceiling and the floor so air could move in and out of the house freely without any insulation! They accidentally took away my ladder. There was tons of dust whenever the heater was running. They would not return my calls as soon as I paid them. They never sent me the warranty info as promised. They added a vent in the kitchen but IT HAS NEVER WORKED! The owner apologized and promised to fix all issues and send me warranty. He also told me to call them back in the spring to verify that air condition works. That was beginning of the year. I've not heard back ever since. I've left them many messages. I'm left with no choice but to give this bad review. I'm also considering legal actions, since they're not fulfilling their contracted obligations. read more

We cannot say enough good things about Luis and his team at Deluxe Air. We had a dead rodent in the heating system at our rental property. We are out of state landlords. Our teenage son found them after calling no less then eight other companies. Everyone was at least two weeks out. Luis had his team there the very next day. A Saturday no less. The whole duct system was replaced, cleaned and disinfected by Monday afternoon. They went out of their way to make the tenants feel comfortable. Would highly recommend Deluxe Air. On time (and on a Saturday), thorough, personable, on time-I know I keep repeating that but it is so rare that contractors show up when agreed. Luis and his team were great from the start. They were quick to respond to my inquiry and on-time when they showed up to give us the original quote. They fielded many additional questions as we learned more about a/c setup and then were prompt to give us a second quote when we decided to go with a completely different location and slimmer unit. They were also on-time the day of installation and they stayed until the job was completed. Oh, and they were $3k lower than one of the bigger a/c installation companies in the bay area even though they were installing essentially the same unit. When we realized the heat had somehow been disconnected in the process, Luis came back the same day I contacted him to fix the problem. No issues since and we've already used the a/c several times. on Tuesday December 2, 2015 before calling Deluxe Air I called six other places to no avail getting times for Monday the 7th and December 14th and 17th this was not feasible for keeping warm. my window was 8-10am with Deluxe Air Luis arrived about 9:40am. I had taken a video the day before for the audio of the noise heard. Luis ran the heater on and off checked the filter and motor. Luis completed his diagnostic of our heater within 40 minutes.
