When one of my employees was trying to unlock the door to my store recently, his key broke and half of the key got stuck in the lock.  I immediately contacted Dani at Golden Hands Locksmith.  He helped me in the past and I had a very positive experience. Once again, Golden Hands Locksmith did not disappoint.  Dani's colleague, Rich arrived at the bakery so quickly it seemed like he was waiting around the block for me to call!  Rich was courteous and professional.  Most importantly, he fixed our lock!  It only took him a few minutes. My home was left unsafe when my keys got in the wrong hands while I was out of town. Danny instructed me to overnight him my house keys and he would change all the locks when he got the keys. It wasn't till two days after the keys should have arrived that he decided to get to my locks. I grew worried and hired someone more reliable. (note that I'd specifically sent an inquiry to another locksmith, but Yelp sent it to many locksmiths, with whom I then needed to manage the communication, so Yelp loses stars themselves) And stated very reasonable pricing in the first response. I asked for a 2 hour service window, same day after work. Rich, the locksmith notified me was going to be delayed by traffic, and arrived when he'd said he'd be arriving. I showed him the job, and the locks sets I had on hand. We discussed the best/easiest approach to the work, and he got it all done in less than an hour. This guy Danny couldn't fix a sandwich! He came out to re-key locks due to lost keys and the locks keep falling off. He came back out to repair only to have the locks fall back off less than two weeks later. When called again I was told that 'it's not his problem'... now I am left with searching for a real locksmith and of course another bill. I found this service based on previous Yelp reviews. I requested a quote to rekey 3 deadbolt and was given a reason price with mins. We set up an appointment that worked for me the following weekend. He called and said he could come earlier than our appointment time and I told him that worked. He arrived on time. He was friendly and professional. The key to my deadbolt got stuck and I couldn't get it out myself. They responded to my request for a quote within 5 minutes and were at my apartment within 3 hours. They dismantled the lock, pulled out the key, and examined if anything was faulty with the lock (which is wasn't). It was $74 total (I used the $20 yelp voucher) so it would have normally been $94. Another vendor I reached out to contacted me afterwards and said the same service would have been free with them but 1) that sounds too good to be true and 2) I was just glad to have it taken care of so quickly. I am the type to wrote a review only if I've had either a horrid experience or if I was super impressed. My in-laws locked themselves out of the house. It was the lock on the handle/knob, not the deadbolt. I messaged them on Yelp with details so I could get a quote. They responded within minutes and said they could get to my house in 30-40 minutes. As soon as I gave the okay, they really got to my house in 40 minutes and the price was exactly as quoted! They didn't even have to break the lock (unlike other locksmiths I've used which meant I had to buy a new door knob... grrrr). I was absolutely amazed by their responsiveness to the yelp message, their prompt service, their price, and the overall customer service.
