I had two locks (bolt lock for front door, lever lock for door to the porch) which were getting sticky, so nothing urgent, but Mike came within a couple days, right at the beginning of the 1.5 hour time window he gave me. It turned out one lock just needed some WD40 and the problem with the other lock was a door that was no longer true and square. That requires a handyman to square up the door. Since neither lock needed replacing, Mike didn't charge me. He didn't try to sell me a new lock that I didn't need. I gave him a big tip to cover his time for driving over. He's very knowledgeable, a nice guy, and doesn't take advantage of the customer. I wish all service providers were like him. I will definitely use him for any future locksmith needs. read more

We moved to Maryland and I found Mike on Yelp. We initially were going to only replace the 3 entry door locks and knobs but we ended up changing the indoor (25) door knobs/levers too. Mike spent the entire day at the house and we like the front door key code pad entry. All of the main entry doors use the same key vs having 3 different keys one for each door) Our house was dated (1989) the new lever knobs and key code, deadbolts Mike suggested are more secure and modern which only increased the value of our home.
