I thought I locked myself out of my apartment but I ended up finding my keys in my pockets (so upset with myself). I must say though their response time was within 15 minutes as well as their arrival. It took maybe 30 minutes for them to break my lock and install a brand new lock with 2 keys. Service is great but be warned, they are on the pricier side ($195 to pick a lock. If unable to $225 for breaking the lock) and if you still can't find your keys, ~$150 for installjng a new lock. read more

I called this company at 6:44 am. The locksmith completed the job at 7:42 am. I don't have a picture to prove his arrival time but I'll guess it was around 7:30am. Great response time. The locksmith opened the door very quickly. I would say this is great however my lock was a simple door knob which if I had lock picking tool I could open. The locksmith also damaged my employer's doorknob. Now, I write this because I feel I was grossly overcharged at $280... Is how this review started on that day. However, I got a chance to talk to the company. They reached out to me very shortly after I made the above post and lowered the charges significantly. I can't hold their company at fault for the actions of one locksmith. They have the best response time I've seen from a locksmith service. If I did need a locksmith again I can see myself using this company in the future. read more

Unfortunately i misheard what he said on the phone price wise thought it was $55 to come and $25 for the actual unlocking but it was TWO twenty five ($225) and I was very shocked at checkout. For anyone who needs immediate attention on his/her lock issues, I would NOT recommend the service of this company (in fact, based on my experience, I would NEVER recommend this company to anyone or use any of their services ever again). For everyone's attention, this is my first negative review on Yelp in the last eight years. So basically I locked myself out by accident in the middle of the night on Easter Sunday. I had myself nothing but a phone with low battery. Apparently it was a very busy night for locksmiths so out of a handful phone calls I made, this company was the one of few that promised me an appointment at 7am next morning and I decided to take a chance with them. The representative was quite rude and when I inquired details of this service (rate, time of arrival, etc.), he just responded that the locksmith would call me when ready and hung up. I was desperate and had to accept this arrangement. The next morning, no one showed up or called at 7am. I called the company again and the representative just said he couldn't reach the locksmith and would call me if he could hear from the locksmith and then hung up without giving me any additional option. (Please bear in mind I only had 10% percent of battery and hadn't not slept for 6 hours). I was hungry, cold and desperate, and had to send out a final round of quote requests through yelp, looking for someone else who could help me. I got a message from a locksmith shortly after, who eventually turned out to the the locksmith of this company, somehow. She wouldn't give me an estimate of the service either and told me she had to be there to see the lock before letting me know how much she would charged. I offered to show her the picture of the lock but she refused. Given that my phone was dying, I had no choice but to ask her to come. When she arrived, it was already around 8:30am. She saw the lock and told me she would charge me $299. I have no experience dealing with locksmiths before but I still felt it was an excessive demand. I asked why it was so much and she responded, "well, it is Sunday morning," despite that the company advertises it offers 24/7 service and the fact I indeed had an appointment. I agree that people who work on Sunday morning deserve our deep gratitude, but taking advantage of a vulnerable customer in such an apparent manner is outrageous. She loosely tried a few tricks and then told me she had to destroy the lock in order to get me in. I had no other choice but to accept since my phone was dead so I was not able to call for a new locksmith. She drilled a couple holes to my lock and opened the door. The whole process took only about 5 minutes. She offered me to replace my lock with a new one with additional charges but I refused because I felt I was already ripped off badly. I'm not judging someone's work based on how much time they spend on it, but another locksmith who later on helped me to replace my lock (with new part + service cost just a little over $100) told me the lock wouldn't have to be destroyed and he couldn't imagine someone who charges $300 to simply destroy a lock. And BTW, never received the promised call back from the representative of the company who answers phone calls. So this is basically a summary of the most horrible experience I had with this company. My door suddenly stopped locking and appeared to be a misalignment issue. The technician was able to come out very promptly the same day and communicated well regarding his timing. Once he got here, he checked a number of different possible causes, including the hinges being a little loose, which caused the door to be misaligned. He oiled and tightened those, which mostly fixed the problem, and then slightly widened the strike plate area so that the deadbolt fits in more smoothly. He also checked all of the other screws in my door handles to make sure they were tight. Everything was fixed within about 15 minutes, and a fairly reasonable price ($100 including the trip charge) and payable over Venmo. read more

I received a quick quote but when the time came to install after being paid by the DC Government, the technicians never arrived or installed the lock. I was distraught as I am a DeafBlind artist in need of a special lock. My opinion remains that Mr. LOCKSMITH exists, but can they truly install a fingerprint biometric lock.
