**Review:** This was one of the worst service experiences I have ever had, and I would not recommend Metro Locksmith to anyone. I hired this incompetent locksmith, Zohan Goldstein, and instead of fixing the problem, he made the situation worse. He left a Phillips-head screw/nail stuck inside my lock, which damaged the lock further and left me with a bigger problem than I had before he arrived. I was charged $144 total -- including a service call fee and an additional labor charge -- but the work performed did not resolve the issue. In my opinion, the service was careless, unprofessional, and not worth what I paid. After realizing the lock was not fixed and that the screw/nail was still stuck inside, I called the technician directly at the number he provided (202-997-6606) and asked him to come back out to correct the problem. He refused to return to fix it and then hung up on me. Because of this, I was left with a damaged lock, no resolution, and no professional follow-up. I will be including photos showing the screw/nail stuck in the lock so other customers can see what happened. Based on my experience, I would strongly caution anyone against using Metro Locksmith. I expected a professional locksmith repair, but instead I paid for a service that left my lock in worse condition, followed by the technician refusing to come back and hanging up when I asked for the issue to be corrected. I had an emergency that required a locksmith to change the locks on two doors in my apartment (three locks total). Niro from Metro Locksmith was at my door within an hour and not only was he extremely helpful with the need to replace my locks, but he talked me through all of the options and was very patient while I tried to learn the basics about replacing locks. Niro even had to leave my apartment and go back to their office, a hour away, to get a specific part that he needed. He was back promptly and the whole job was done in less than 15 minutes. Update: Metro locksmith was able to come quickly to repair our front door lock, which broke due to an unrelated incident. They installed the last lock and fully replaced our old one free of charge and in 10 minutes. Roy was our technician and he was professional, quick and effective. We requested urgent service because the deadbolt on our house's front door broke. The locksmith, Niro, was able to come quickly on this short notice. Not only did he do an excellent job of fixing our lock, he gave us a great deal on the parts, finished the job very quickly and was very friendly. We'll definitely use Metro Locksmith again for any other similar issues in the future. read more

The tech was late and the sheriff was nice enough to wait before they rescheduled and cost me a bunch of money.
