He is a very pleasant guy and did some things well (sealing the walls of our walk in shower). However, the quality control on the two baths/showers was poor. His mom was having issues, and perhaps he was in a hurry. But we shortly began to notice a lot of overpainting. And, now, a couple of months later, as we began to scrape the overpainting off the shower wall tiles with plastic cards, we noticed even more overpainting and a number of grout lines that had major portions with no sealer and a bunch of smaller areas that had gaps. We used leftover sealer to fill in all the gaps he missed. Also, the caulking around the tubs was, simply put, sloppy. Maybe it was due to his having to travel to see his mom in El Paso. Nevertheless, my recommendation for anyone who uses him is to do your own careful quality control checks while he's there. This is not meant to 'dis' him, but to help him succeed.

The large crew was on time and worked really hard each day and they didn't mind educating me about the process as I tend to ask a lotta questions. The prep work and installation went very well and we loved the look of the new floor. We have 80, 70, 50 and 20lb dogs and after more than 2 years of wrestling and chasing each other, I simply see no scratches. We constantly get compliments from friends and other contractors. This is a quality floor installed very well. My only regret is that I didn't have them do the whole house.

In my 45 years of business, I have ran across many people like him and I prefer NOT to do business with this type of individual. The showroom floor is a mess, tile, carpeting and samples are all over the floor, making it very difficult to navigate the showroom without tripping or falling, God forbid a disabled or wheel-chair bound person enters the store, they would never be able navigate the showroom. OSHA needs to be informed of these hazards, as well as State Agencies.
