I would have to say Golden Jade is definitely the best Chinese food found in hopewell. Food tastes fresh, and fried rice is never burnt like other places. Located in a plaza with plenty of parking makes coming to Golden Jade convenient. Inside is not nice by any means (mostly a take out spot), but if you do decide to stay there is ample seating. My recommendation would be sesame chicken combo (white meat only - this is key) to-go, and enjoy it at home. Golden Jade will not disappoint. read more

This is the inly Chinese food restaurant I will order from in Hopewell. Have been eating here for over 20 years. Their food is made fresh. Their special crab rangoon is selicious. I personally love the eggplant and chicken (not spicy). We always get extra for next day lunches. I highly recommend this restaurant. read more

We went to this place when we first moved into the area and it was pretty awful so we never went back. Then, I went there today just to get an appetizer (to try it again) and it was HORRIBLE!!! I got roast pork and it was swimming around in the most disgusting sauce I ever tasted! It was a dark, soy based sauce but it tasted like sweet and sour AND it was loaded with garlic. SOOOOO disgusting!!!! I had to spill out all of the sauce just to try and eat the pork! SOOO unappetizing and awful!!!! I never saw any place make roast pork with that kind of sauce - it was just revolting!!! And it cost $10 for the roast pork and a container of white rice - total rip off!! There was hardly any meat in the container either ~ just tons of that horrendous sauce. Won't be going back!!! read more

This is the best Chinese restaurant ever created. Their dumpling sauce is like gastronomic heroin. Their Kung Pao Double Ding utilizes a ding from both shrimp and chicken, which come together in a perfect harmonious blend of ecstacy. The warm welcoming owners, Mandy and Ivan, make you feel as if you walked into your great Chinese grandmother's back alley apartment in Chinatown (and I mean that in the best way possible). I don't know where these other reviewer's are eating but this is the worst Chinese we've ever had in our lives the sauces were horrible the portions were skimpy the orange beef was a piece of beef about the size of a dime and breading about the size of a wallet the soup was disgusting it was pricey I would not recommend this place !
