My HOA had new mailboxes installed and somehow I did not get new keys and was locked out from getting my mail. I have a storage unit which has been locked and unused for a number of years. Unfortunately, I had lost my keys and now needed the storage space. I called David and requested help. He asked me to send him a picture of the lock and within minutes, he gave me a quote to open the lock and to replace the cylinder with new keys. Asked for help at 9:30 pm, and David came over in 20 Minutes. I called another locksmith five days ago, they opened the door but ridiculously overcharged me did not fix the problem. I purchased a new home and needed 5 doors re-keyed. After doing significant research I went with golden locksmith. David was awesome! Extremely knowledgeable. His communication was excellent through the whole process. He was clean and didn't leave a mess. After the job was done he had me check all the locks to make sure I was satisfied. A huge selling point for me was the fact that he used emtek parts (I have all emtek locks and they aren't cheap) and not aftermarket products. He also gave me tips on how to fix a few doors that aren't closing properly. At the end of the day, if I could give 6 stars I would!! I'm writing this review for Dave not just because he was a good guy but he was quick and honest to his trade craft. I found his business from Yelp after wife complained about issues with our front door lock. Asked wife to give Dave a call at about noon time to get quote even though Dave has busy schedule he still managed to come by and fixed the issue for us and told wife for the minor issues I should be able to take care of it by going to HD without his help.
