I've been super busy lately from buying a new home, and haven't had time to write any reviews this year, but I need to take a moment to yelp this place. This is a prime example of a place that deserves five stars because the service and attention to detail were unbelievable. I still can't believe it's just one guy, David (owner) doing all this work. There's a reason he has five star reviews from over 360 reviewers. I contacted about five other places through Yelp app for a quote to get locks rekeyed at our new home. Even though I got lower quotes from two other places I wanted to work with David because he stood out from the rest. The other places just gave me a price for service call and cost to rekey each lock. David was the only one that asked detailed questions before quoting me a price. He's the only one that gave me a flat price with no hidden fees. I had no idea if the other places would do a bait & switch tactic after showing up. He also gave some great recommendation and taught me a lot about different lock brands and which ones were most secure. What really impressed me about David was his level of service. My schedule really didn't fit with his busy schedule since I only had weekends available to meet with him, and he was already booked for two months on Saturdays. He only does emergency work on Sundays but he still managed to fit me in the same week I contacted him. He even showed up within the two hour timeframe he promised, even though he had some last minute emergency calls he had to take care of. David is an honest guy that works really hard. He seems more concerned about taking care of his customers than just simply taking their money. While he was working on our lock he was talking to some lady on the phone who locked herself out of her bedroom. He tried to teach her how to pick the lock herself instead of telling her how much it would cost to come out and fix it. It's hard to find people like David these days. I was so impressed with his service I paid him more than what he quoted me. I will definitely use him in the future for all locksmith needs. read more

David was courteous enough to text me when he was on the way, and he showed up on time! He was very professional, and talked me through what needed to be done at my property. From initial contact to when David showed up, he sent a few texts to update me on timing. This was helpful since I had to step away to run a couple quick errands. Also, after he arrived, it was clear he genuinely cared about the job. It was the little things - making sure the face plate was aligned with the door, replacing a screw in the locking mechanism because it was the wrong size, oiling down the lock on the screen door that wasn't even part of the job. So, had a tricky situation. Needed to get a Yakima skybox rekeyed because we lost the keys. I contacted many locksmiths who didn't do that kind of work. When I first called here, they first gave me a couple helpful suggestions for ways I might be able to take care of the problem myself. When those didn't work, I ended up buying the parts I needed from the Yakima website and then the locksmith was able to quickly and easily get the job done! It wasn't the cheapest job but for more affordable then not being able to use our cargo box. The communication was clear, work was reliable, and the information given was extremely helpful. So many locksmiths are shady- and that isn't an industry you want to worry about being shady! I just got home trying to unlock my door. My door lock was turning to open but then my key broke:( So I tried to yelp and find a place close to me and somewhere that was still open to help me fix this random situation of my broken key. I found Golden Smith that was gonna close by 11pm and I was a minute away to call. David answered my call right away and after telling him the situation he was willing to help me right away! I was thankful because Golden Smith was gonna close for the night but David asked me to send a pic of the broken key and as soon as I did he gave me the flat rate quote and told me he will be right there to take out the broken key and give me a new one!:) He was also very considerate to update me on when he was arriving to my location. Right when he arrived a good introduction of who he is was very professional even if it was late evening with the key situation.
