I had gotten my eyebrows microbladed ~4-5 years ago elsewhere, and while I was happy with what I had gotten at the time, after seeing Din, I appreciate how much more care she takes in what she does, and the level of customer service she provides. Getting permanent makeup done, especially your brows, is a BIG procedure, and actually, a bit of an emotional one! And thankfully, Din is there every step of the way. I started the process by booking my consultation with her, which we did via Zoom due to COVID. Although I was fairly familiar with the process, she still took the time to explain everything so I was prepared for the procedure, and to allow me to tell her what I personally wanted. From there, we booked my first session! I got a combo brow, and Din took into account the shape of my face and what I told her I liked. The procedure itself was not bad at all; Din numbed me (and continued to do so throughout the procedure). While it is a very similar feeling to getting a tattoo, Din has such a light hand and made sure I was OK throughout the entire procedure so I never felt any pain - moreso I felt the vibrations from the machine and the eventual soreness that comes with getting a tattoo procedure (if you've sat for a tattoo, you know this feeling). (Also, as we got this done during COVID, I must say - Din's office is *spotless* and she took every precaution to ensure that we were safe, and of course, that everything was sanitized for the procedure itself.) Afterwards, she walked me through what I needed to do through the healing process and what to expect - the itchiness, the peeling and how dark and light it would be at different stages (she also provides a cute info sheet!). You can see how my healing went in one of the pictures attached. What's great is that Din also includes a touch-up with the fee you pay, which is amazing and really speaks to how much Din cares about the final result. All in all, Din gave me back my confidence, and saved me a lot of time trying to fill my brows every day!

I'm most certainly I am real, and disgusted. I made an appointment with this place to get permanent winged eyeliner. I sent in photos of what I was looking for, which was on their website, and photos of my eye. I was explained that the procedure could be done, and to go ahead and make the appointment which I did. Upon arriving, the woman taking care of me, I believe her name was Chris, appeared to have no clue what she was doing. It took her about a half an hour to finally draw the winged eyeliner correctly on my eye. But even with that, she still found a way to royally mess it up, and now I am permanently disfigured thanks to her. The owner, now she is a piece of work. At first, she was very apologetic, and explained that after this healed that it would be fixed. Now mind you, because of how bad this came out, Chris explained to me that I did not have to pay. This was more than just not liking the outcome, this looks absolutely nothing like what I have asked for. The owner was fine with this. Just a few days later when I asked for something, the owner got all defensive and started stating that I owed her money. Lol, there is not a chance in this world that I would pay for what you did to me, lady. Now, if she would've came out, respectfully and made an appointment with me to have this done the correct way and fixed, I would've been more than happy to pay for it. Unprofessional is not the word, ghetto is more like it. There are so many more places that would do an incredible job, and not be treated the way I was. One of her workers also put his hands on me which she likes to deny, but that's OK. Please do not make the unfortunate mistake that I did in going to this place. Because of the incompetence of her worker, which clearly was not trained properly, I now have to walk around, looking like a fool. I went from not having to wear makeup, to now I have to wear makeup every single day to try to correct what they did to me. I will let the photos speak for themselves. I researched after I got home to find it usually is $125 - 200. I was scammed. - I booked a consultation in advance - I confirmed twice and sent them photos of my eyebrows. As requested by them! I was booked for lip blush and when I came in thought I consulted for that. - During the consultation they offered me to do it right then and there. I agreed because I had the time and offered the rate of $350 - They said I had to put numbing cream for 20 minutes. They came in maybe after 5-10 minutes to begin and didn't even allow the numbing to set in. I was tearing during the session but powered through. - Afterwards I had some blonde eyebrow hairs. I thought that was normal but when I went home they were permanently blonde. On top of that I tipped!! I was kind and patient to come home to find out I was probably scammed and was disrespected as a client. This was very disappointing. I would've loved to give a better review but they took advantage of my kindness and my trust. If you want people to trust with your face and money this might not be the best option. I was hesitant because I've never done semi-permanent makeup before, and I've always wanted micro blading or something for my eyebrows, but since I have oily skin, I'm not a good candidate for micro blading. I've seen 'powder brows' pictures before and I wasn't a huge fan since they look super stenciled, but it was something about how my friend's eyebrows looked that made me rethink getting powder brows done. I loved how Maggie's style was more "ombré" and it looks like a finished makeup look. During the consultation I had no idea what I wanted, but Maggie was so patient with me and made recommendations using her professional judgment, even if I had ideas, she was very honest with me if it was a good or bad idea in her professional opinion (ex. I needed someone I could trust 100% with my eyebrows. I never got that feeling with places. I stumbled upon Glam Brows on Yelp. I read a few reviews, checked out their website & followed them on Instagram. I followed Patti's work for about a month on Instagram. I knew her style was what I was looking for. I wanted a natural look and not something that looked like I just filled my eyebrows in. I knew I wanted to do microblading but was still scared. I saw online Glam Brows was running a promotion so I decided to sign up. Patti contacted me immediately to set up a time to talk. When we spoke on the phone I knew right away I could trust her and would choose her to do my eyebrows. She's sweet, informative & really listens to you. She explained the whole process on the phone and answered any in initial questions I had. I told her I would feel more comfortable if we set up a consultation, which she said she recommends to everyone. I brought my mom along with me for my consultation because she was skeptical about the microblading process. Patti answered all of our questions, explained the entire process and did not glamorize it at all. I love her because she's completely honest and up front with you. She isn't just going to tell you what you want to hear. After leaving the consultation, even my mom loved her! She knew she was someone we could trust and would make my eyebrows look the way I wanted. You shouldn't chose a place because it's"cheap or it's the first place you find. You should do your research and should feel 100% comfortable with your esthetician. Fast forward to the day I got the microblading. I was anxious and nervous and although I knew I 100% wanted to do this, it was scary! I was mostly nervous about the pain. I don't have a high pain tolerance and I wasn't excited to lay there for 2 hours. Patti kept reassuring me it was going to be fine and the pain was minimal. She kept asking if I was okay and told me we could take a break whenever I needed to. I also love how detail oriented she is and how clean her space is. You can tell she takes her work seriously and she's there for YOU. She doesn't answer phone calls in between the tattooing. Your time with her is strictly for you. I am now at 2 weeks post touch-up. Let me just say, FOLLOW HER INSTRUCTIONS. There is a list of pre and post instructions. Follow them. You won't regret it. I followed them to a T and she said my eyebrows healed amazing - it was one of the best she's seen. My eyebrows are still healing so they're a bit patchy. But I am over the moon happy with the outcome. I wake up in the morning with perfect eyebrows. They look so natural that no one can tell they're microbladed. I can't recommend Patti & Glam Brows enough. If you're still skeptical, just give her a call or set up a consultation. I can assure you after meeting her you'll love her as much as I do!
