The Christmas decorations were wonderful and this past weekend they had the Lunar New Year celebration, with many additional pop-up vendors in the street (closed off for pedestrians). We enjoyed walking, talking and exploring all the additional vendors and also the people (and dog) watching was top notch. Judging by the crowd turnout, I would say that this was a successful event, and I hope they add more events like this going forward. Many great restaurants, shops, craft stores and plaza entertainment. Water fountains and train rides for the kids (and some adults too). Whether you come here to dine, shop or just hang out and enjoy the weather with others, this place is a solid choice.

Lowes, Ayres Hotel, Corner Bakery Café, Wahoo's Fish Taco, The Boiler, Arby's, Hobby Lobby, BJ's Brewhouse, Dave's Hot Chicken, Tastea, Pho Mai, Yogurtland, Ray's Duck House, and so much more. Lots of free parking available. The next time I'm in the Chino Hills area, I'll have to try out Corner Bakery Cafe and Wahoo's Fish Tacos maybe even The Boiler. This marketplace is located at the heart of Chino Hills Trade area. It's on the north side of the city with easy access to two major freeways, SR 60 and SR-71. Besides the businesses mentioned above, other major tenants include Lowe's, PetSmart, America's Tire, UPS, GNC, Coldstone, Wendy's, etc. There is also a section that's going through a redevelopment phase due to businesses that have closed down within the last couple years. I don't live near the Chino Hills area, but I am always open to venturing out to different cities and seeing what they have to offer especially for dining. This marketplace offers quite a bit. I have a habit of coming here on the weekdays because finding parking is a cinch and I can quickly pick up items I want or need. If you come on Friday nights, a lot of people are walking around, especially students. I would be careful about crossing the blocks here because there are many drivers who speed through and don't check the pedestrians. My store highlights are: Doc Martens, POP MART, ZARA, Punchbowl Social, Dog Haus, and the Escape Game. I frequent these places the most! I have also been enjoying their newest addition: Marugame Udon. Sadly, there aren't as many deals here because these aren't the outlet stores. At the time of my review, the Apple Store is currently under construction but they have a pop up located near miniso and POP MART instead. Everything is still kept clean and it's fun to walk around at night. The lights are glittering and sparkling. Amazing outdoor mall.

Then, one morning someone (who never identified herself as an employee of the mall) told us that we couldn't stand and look in the doorway of a room that was vacant, and had their door open to the walkway. We were insulted, then continued on our walk. About a week later two security/management staff approached us and told us that we were banned from Montclair Place for a year, due to the communication. There was no follow-up, phone call or written letter, even after it was asked for. By the way, we never made a complaint about the situation to the management office because we thought it would be petty and I'm only writing this review because I received an email from Yelp asking if I would review the Montclair Plaza. !!!!
