Lots of free parking available. The next time I'm in the Chino Hills area, I'll have to try out Corner Bakery Cafe and Wahoo's Fish Tacos maybe even The Boiler. My first visits were for RE/MAX GALAXY regarding real estate purposes. Now I visit it for Torotea and Ni Ni Bakery. I haven't supported any other businesses. It looks like most of them are non-restaurants. I'll continue to come here for Torotea for sure and Ni Ni Bakery on occasion. The only other biz I would try is NoodleMii and maybe Duck Palace. Parking is somewhat limited. I feel it's a little snugged when backing out of the parking space. I remember when this plaza first opened around the time that I was in high school (yes, I'm a…read morefossil) and there's so many crazy and fun unique businesses that have come and go (such is the nature of life), like the Toilet Restaurant (huge in Taiwan, no way in hell something that novel and fun can exist in the US), a "maid cafe", Japanese Italian fusion, the more traditionally themed Wagyu House by the X Pot, Pelicana chicken (now I have to travel further if they have any fun collabs), and Kira Kira purikura which held so many fun community events for J-fashion and music enthusiasts. Sucks dude, but truly is the normiefication of everything. I know that Jazz Cat is going to close soon, so that's another nail in the memory coffin... As of now, I'm mostly here to go to Chubby Mart if friends desire, Junbi if I'm feeling it (but there's so many stronger matcha contenders out there these days), T-Swirl Crepes if I'm feeling crepes, All that and Dim Sum (sometimes they have pretty good deals here), and I plan on going back to Sushi Yuen one day. The moonware shop is nice to look through for household, kitchen, utensils, ceramic and other goods and gifts. And I know that the JJ Bakery, Monja Taiker (I had a bad experience with the one deeper in SG), are popular here. It can get quite fisted and parking can get busy, at the top layer, but you can also park in the back and in the garage pit. Decent range of prices in where you want to go eat from the somewhat cheaper dim sum and bakery to the higher end sushi omakase and AYCE hot pot and BBQ. According to Google, both the plaza straight across where the market never opened and is now on…read morelease (where the 99 Cents used to be), HK Macau Bistro, KW Cafe, Boston Lobster, Feng Mu, etc. AND the plaza where the Big Lots used to be, Le Kream, iTaiwan Foods, JJ Bakery, Mmii 5 Bobee, Cluck2GO, Launderland, etc. is ALSO known as the Colima Shopping Center. I mean to be fair, they're both located on Colima if anything. And both keep losing huge main stores, if you think about it. The other side with KW and Boston Lobster and Macau Bistro can get QUITE packed since it's a lot of restaurants with large parties and lots of customers. So depending on when you go, it can get quite busy there. The opposite can be said for the plaza where Big Lots used to be. Lots of the businesses close by the time it's dinner time or the evening, with only a handful left open and the laundromat. Which makes this plaza perfect for car meets. Lots of parking spaces. A bit hard to drive into, but it works just fine if need be. Hopefully one day, BOTH of these plazas get a big grocery store or shopping home goods store one day, if not, that's a lot of space wasted.

This center is located on one huge block with plenty of parking, but don't let it fool you... it does get really packed on the weekends because of the major players as I have mentioned above (especially KW Cafe)... do come early to grab a parking spot if you can. I have not yet tried any of their other businesses and there are plenty of them. I have a photo of their board with biz names somewhere someplace. My eldest daughter was with me that day. We had to walk from See's to Albertsons because I didn't want to relocate my car. Hey, walking is good for us. Along the way, we saw other shops and restaurants. I noticed this village has a rustic look to it. Not sure if it's just by design or it has aged through time. To name some of the biz(es) below... there sure is a handful of long biz names. Plenty of parking so no worries there. This village is at Grand Ave and Diamond Bar Blvd... it's a busy corner! Please be careful entering and exiting the parking lot. I would love to return here to dine at the sushi place, grab a submarine crab sandwich, snatch a couple rainbow donuts along with a cup of roasted coffee, and of course, gather some more See's chocolates. Great use of space after the plaza died from the Korean market and the Rite Aid closing. They…read moresection off a part of the parking lot for an entertainment stage, food vendors, and inflatables and they open up the inside of the former Rite Aid for some carnival games (punching bag and stick catcher), artists, merch vendors, some tables and free play console games with a Smash tournament I believe. There's also a photobooth inside too. Outside, when we went to the Natsu Festival, there were large Poke'mon inflatables of Charmander, Squirtle, Pikachu, and Bulbasaur for photo ops, which is cute. Also very funny that the shopping kiosks still have the Anaheim Garden Walk signs still on them. I guess that's where it came from. It's honestly like a super mini 626 Night Market, or more accurately a super mini Anime Impulse considering there's an indoors vendor area with lots of vendors focused on anime and other "nerdy" franchises, with some artists mixed in too. I did see some cosplayers as well. It's just the inside part can get quite hot and stuffy with the weather and the number of people visiting inside, hopefully they up the AC when the hotter summer months hit. Prices are reasonable and fair considering they are night market prices and that entry into the event is completely free. Parking can get a bit crowded, but the farther you are away from the festival, there's more spots and the plaza itself is quite large. Lots of vendors giving out free samples and are super helpful and very into hawking their goods and wares. Great to have this sort of event very close to our area and no need for me to travel out to Arcadia or into DTLA or something.

Found this Rowland Heights night market through Instagram and had no idea it was so close to home…read more I've been to the OC Night Market before, so I liked that this one was free and parking was actually really easy. There were a decent amount of food vendors, but the food was pretty hit or miss for me. The spiral potato with sour cream seasoning was WAY too salty. I actually had to bring it back and ask for one with no seasoning at all. We also tried a beef skewer that took a pretty long time and wasn't very good. The chicken kebab from Kebab Land was probably my favorite thing we tried. We also got popcorn chicken from Popin Chicken, but it was pretty dry and I probably wouldn't order it again. One thing to know is that a lot of vendors only take tap, chip, or Apple Pay. I had a Visa gift card that needed to be swiped and couldn't use it. Some vendors also charge a small credit card fee, so I'd recommend bringing cash. The biggest issue for me was the raffle at the end of the night. They kept pulling numbers for people who had already left, so it dragged on forever. Since you have to be present to win, I think they should have had everyone who was still there put their tickets into a new pile before the drawing. They also ended up giving some raffle prizes away through random activities instead, which didn't seem very fair to everyone who had been waiting with tickets. Overall, it's a cute idea for a local night market and I'd probably come back to walk around and try different vendors, but the raffle system definitely needs improvement. Also, be prepared for a LOT of smoke from the food vendors when you first walk in.

Well, I was recently here again, but this time it was to try Slice House Pizza. Surprise surprise, Chopstix House, Subway, Waba Grill, Pita Street, Handel's Homemade Ice Cream (always busy), Nektar Juice, Starbucks, Sunny Donuts, and Ralphs + Ralphs gas are here, too. They have other non-restaurant businesses that offer services for beauty supply, hair, nails, banking, mailing, cleaners, cell phone repair, smokes, medical clinic, vet, children's learning experience center, tae kwon do, Brazilian waxing, etc, as well. Wow, what a well rounded marketplace! Parking spaces are adequate. It's actually not that big of a block, but big enough to hold some great restaurants for dining and stores for shopping that's worthy of an afternoon or evening visit. The only thing I didn't see much if at all are clothing and souvenirs shops. Of course Eastvale Gateway shopping center is diagonally across the street from it and Eastvale South is to its left. Yeah, I get it... there's already lots of other shopping offerings around. Nevertheless, Cloverdale Marketplace is worth a visit when you're in the Eastvale area.
