Extremely disappointed with our last visit to Golden Road. We were here about an hour before the USA versus Belgium soccer game started. At the time when we got there, we were the only people outside and there was plenty of staff standing around just talking to each other other. It took so long for someone to notice that we were trying to get their attention and then when Lainey came over, she was so rude, unprofessional and sour. We tried to ask for a suggestion about which table outside would be better for shade and she rudely said we should go inside because it's "literally 90°". Let it be known that the actual temperature was 78° and actually beautiful. We just were asking about the shade. From then on she never wanted to give us the time of day, never once smiled, and would rudely tell people she would come to them when she could, even though she was just standing around talking. On top of that the pretzel was old and stale, even though I have had many good pretzels from here. This experience really tainted our view and love of Golden Road. We have actively avoided coming here, even though we live down the street because it was such a bad experience with server, Lainey. And this was not the first time we have had a server like this if you look at my previous review.
This place was soo cute! We came back on another trip to the city we had. The beers are good. The service is fast. They had shade, space, good beers, dogs are allowed, kiddo's are allowed. Super chill to watch sports as well. Huge place, we loved it!
We came in before an Angel game as I'm sure most people do but it wasn't busy. We were greeted pretty quickly, got our drinks fast and asked for a food menu cause we wanted a good app before going into the stadium. We ordered the poke nachos and we were glad we did. They were light, just the right amount of food for a hot day. The service though, while it was fast, my boyfriend and I didn't feel super welcomed. It was more on the slow side and the beertender almost seemed annoyed that we were there. Maybe he was having an off day, I'm not too sure. Hopefully if we go back someone else will be working.
While in Anaheim visiting the Happiest Place on Earth (allegedly), we drove past Golden Road Brewing and knew we had to go. We drove back after unpacking. The brewery is very impressive size wise, especially for the location. When you walk in, they have merchandise on the right side. We bought a pint glass and beer to go. Food We came for the beer, but the food menu looked really good as well. We got the sliders kids meal for our kids and the fish and chips for us. The fish was crispy and not at all soggy. The fries were also good. For drinks, I went with a beer flight, which is one of the greatest inventions ever in my opinion. I went with the Hazy IPA, Tropical Hazy IPA, Mango Cart, and the Raspberry sour. The Hazy and Sour were my favorites of the bunch. 5/5 Service There were quite a few staff working. Everyone was friendly and helpful. They answered our questions and the food arrived fast. 5/5 Ambiance There was an awesome outside area out back. There were three bars with six TVs. There is so much seating and games as well. Such a fun spot in a big city. 5/5 Highly recommend checking out Golden Road if you are in town for Disney. You will have earned a drink or five from surviving that.
told my step daughters to go (they're of color)they said they got seated alone in the corner , they're server didn't check on them , gave them room temp water it was 90 degrees outside by the way , server was rude , they tried to wave down what seemed to be an owner or manager but he didn't even bother. They said the food was pretty good wings were a hit other than that very bland , ambiance is nice it's mostly white people but you just get weird stares at times overall a 5/10.

Lots of nice outdoor seats and games! Order beer inside at bar but then server came around to tables for food order which was interesting as then they also took next beer order. For some reason this created an issue closing our tab. We enjoyed the atmosphere and beer was good!
Golden Road Brewing has a perfect West Coast summer vibe! We came to eat and drink right before an Angels game. Although the place was packed, the venue is so massive that we were still able to find a free table. I enjoyed my steak street tacos (4 out of 5); it was very good but not great. My favorite beers I sampled were the trippel and the Pacific blonde (both 5 out of 5, excellent craft beers). Outside, they had a pop-up counter with someone grilling smash burgers. I got to try a few bites of my husband's smash burger, and it was absolutely delicious, covered in grilled onions, cheese, and mustard. I wish I had gotten that instead. We also came with our son. This place is super kid-friendly, with tons of children enjoying the wide outdoor space. My only criticism is the parking situation. Since so many people were using the small parking lots for the Angels game AND the brewery, it took us about 20 minutes to find a parking spot. I'm sure this isn't an issue on non-Angel game days, but if you are coming before a game, plan accordingly.

My +1 and I took our Little to Monster Jam at the Angels Stadium and found ourselves with a couple of hours before the main show. Since we had already parked at the stadium, we decided to walk here since it was right across the street, unfortunately for us, a whole lot of other people had the same idea. There was a lot of indoor and outdoor seating, but there were even more people, and what seemed like a mad rush to try and find open spots. It was all self - seating, with waiters running around their areas trying to make sense of it all. We circled around along with a lot of other people, and we happened upon a family that was leaving soon, and asked if we wanted their table. Score! We kept it simple and ordered burgers and fries for all of us, and beers for the adults. The food was decent, and surprisingly came out pretty quickly I have to say, despite the chaotic background, our servers were fairly up to speed. I had to take one point off because I felt like it could've been organized much better, instead of the battle Royale to try and find a place to sit. Nevertheless, we are grateful for the food and drink, and may come back when it's a little less busy.
Good food, good service, nice selection of beers and dog and children friendly, can't ask for more! This space is huge. It's perfect for big groups. A lot of indoor and outdoor places. We sat outside because the weather was beautiful. We didn't know that the portions were huge and we orders the veggie pizza, sheet nachos and a kids slider. It was a lot of food but everything was so good! And we tried the lager and the seltzer. Both were so good!! The parking area can get bus but you can also find street parking!!
Second time at Golden Road was still good but not as great as the first. The space is still fun and lively but the food and service didn't hit like before. My fam all went both times and all said this time the food wasn't as good- I agreed. Also they brought one dish out way before the rest so that plate got cold. And the service was really slow, we had to keep getting up to go to the bar to get stuff because we were waiting for so long for napkins, refills, anything. We still had a great time but had higher expectations because of our previous visit.
This is a great place to meet and grab some beers! The food is great too especially during their happy hour! They have a good cripsy tuna rice and my favorite beer is the Mango Mas! The service is good. It's a seat yourself situation and the waiters will approach you after some time. The place is open and has plenty of indoor and outdoor seating available. There's always a sports game they're playing on the TV. The ambiance is loud and lively. There's 2 parking lots, but they get filled fast. there's street parking available as well!
Honestly such a good spot for a sports game day! The food is such a hit and you can't go wrong with a mango cart. I do want to personally give a huge shout out to Beto, although its a warmish day i asked for a heater to be on and he was super kind and funny about it. He was working hard the whole time and with a HUGE smile on his face. I genuinely hope he is appreciated because he was the reason i even made this review. He made our experience 100x better!

We love coming to Golden Road to enjoy a drink or two, especially when there's a game on. Watch the World Cup here a few different times has been fun. Definitely crowded...but always fun. They've got a few special brews for the World Cup right now read more
This place is really big. It's obviously designed to handle crowds for events across the street at the stadium. A big plus for me is they are open for lunch every day and midweek it's pretty quiet. Golden Road isn't the best beer around especially the canned stuff that is widely available. The beer brewed just for this location runs the range from mediocre to very good. Food is the kind of pub grub you'd expect. It's a little pricier than other breweries. The bartenders were very helpful. I'd never come here when a game is on but really like it in the quiet times. read more

Me first time here ....killing pre concert time waiting for a nearby Duran Duran concert at Honda Center. Very large and spacious inside & out. Great outdoor patios. Had an IPA and a Lzger plus chicken nuggets and fried; all tasty and filling. Quick service. Yes, I'd definitely return. Tried this Brewery last night. We came around 6 pm so the parking wasn't bad. There's other parking around the area so you'll be able to find a spot. There was a large selection of IPAs and Beers. We also tried the Chicken nachos and the poke nachos which were decent bar food. Service was fantastic Everyone was very nice. Servers were constantly walking around and checking in. Inside was super spacious so will definitely come back with a bigger group! read more

Great pre-game spot! In town for the Padres game and I was really surprised there wasn't more planes in the area. This was a great find. Huge place inside and out. All of the staff were super friendly and they were all hustling. The place was super busy. The food came out really quickly and I was looking forward to the Mother Clucker chicken sandwich I ordered. First of all Aaron H. Is a rockstar and helped us greatly. We ordered a variety of beers, and I tried the hazy IPA. It was ok. I asked Aaron what was his best beer, he suggested the Trapdoor. Bingo! Nice body, goes down well, and a winner overall. I'd suggest this one. We had Brussels sprouts, pepperoni pizza, burger, and street tacos. All food was as delivered and so good. I would say this establishment has better food than beer, although both work enough for a solid 5 star. The music is hip and nice background volume so you can vibe and still talk. If you are attending an Angels game, it is across the street! Get here at least a few hours early though, it gets crowded. A++ read more

I've bought Golden Road cans before over the years, but I had no idea the brewery was so close to me! They've got some other options besides the cans they sell at stores, I got the POG Mai Tai. Honestly, I have no idea what a mai tai is supposed to be but it was good. Some friends shared their food items with me, so I got to try the poke nachos, pretzel, fries and the margherita pizza. All were good but the pretzel was SO fire. A little crisp on the outside, soft on the inside and with a good tasting cheese dip, not too salty. It also had the right amount of salt on top. The staff was also great, the person who took my order (receipt says my server was PM Ghost B?) was friendly and others kept checking in on my party to make sure we were okay. I would come back here, if not just for that delicious pretzel. read more

This was my first time coming over here and what an amazing experience. This place its huge and all the staff was very attentive specially JEFF at the main bar, this guy is working at the right place, he helped me out from point 0 to 100. Friendly, helpful and what a great customer service he holds, if it wasn't for him I would have never experience almost the whole place. Well appreciated Brother. read more

Parking was a breeze and super convenient! Kristin, Luis, Marilu (apologies if I spelled that wrong), and the rest of the team were super friendly and attentive. The ambiance was great, spacious indoor and outdoor seating with a relaxed, welcoming vibe. Good breeze and airflow through out the area. I tried the tortilla chips, beef tacos, and chicken tacos, and everything was absolutely delicious. Their wide selection of beers paired perfectly with the food. Highly recommend! read more
This is usually a popular place for my office to go to since it's so close, decent parking, and a wide range of food. During our most recent visit, we stopped here before the Angels game. My colleagues and I got sick and the only thing we had in common was the avocados (avocado tacos, salad bowl, and the pub burger, which had a smashed avocado.) I would encourage you to get things that are grilled and fried. Staff was welcoming. read more

We went to see Kim D. (Ifykyk) Okay I'll tell ya- she's from Labrea/Earl of Sand(we don't talk about them) in Downtown Disneyland... she is the most best server ever! And the whole reason we found ourselves at Golden Road Brewing. Golden Road Brewing is huge! There's an indoor open area and a large wrap around outside area with plenty of picnic tables and shade. Large tvs/ projectors whatever they are. You have to forgive me because I walked in and immediately heard my name being called by a young man that swept me up in a hug... former student, actually 3. Anyway couple of bars or a large bar... no, I'm pretty sure it's an indoor and outdoor bar, oh and we shared a turkey sandwich that was fresh and delicious ... oh and it's right across the street from like a sporting place... honestly I'm in Anaheim to see that mouse and can't be bothered by other details. Anyway I can imagine the place is hopping after a game night... And go ask for Kim and tell her hello and buy a tshirt!! read more

Visited last week before an Angel game. Saturday afternoon luckily we walked around for only 5 min and got lucky finding a table. Food was absolutely delicious. The ahi tuna nachos? Chefs kiss delicious. It's a huge establishment and the service was attentive. Parking is big and even get $5 back when you dine here. read more
I met up with friends for a drink and also decided to add the Bavarian pretzel to my order. The pretzel was warm, soft and buttery and not too salty. The staff at Golden Road are always very nice, provide quick service and make my time there seamless. It's the perfect place to also go before an Angel game since it's walking distance from the stadium. read more

I'm back! If you've never been, this place is always a good time, especially if you're into craft beers and giod food. I got the fish and chips today and paired it with a custom beer blend, half Mango Cart, half Street Cart. Super refreshing combo and perfect with anything here. The fish and chips came out hot and crispy. You get 3 thick, golden-battered fillets that are flaky inside and light on the outside without being greasy. Fries are those thin-cut kind and they don't mess around with portions. Coleslaw's crunchy and balances the whole plate out. Tartar sauce was creamy and tangy, just the way it should be. Also, if you come here, make sure you ask for Drew at the bar. He's my go-to every time I'm here. Great service, always on point, and just makes the whole experience great! read more

There is a private lot but during peak hours, it fills up. Street parking is also available but, again, peak hours will get you circling if you don't plan accordingly. Carpool if you can.

Yep. People bring their dogs all the time to the outside portion

They are friendly about these items. Go for it!

Yes, definitely kid friendly. I brought my 1.5 year old recently. Sit outside, there's plenty of space for a little one to run around there!

Their parking lot is small and the street parking can fill up quickly, especially if there's an Angel's game going on because many go to Golden Road to pre-game

Yes. They have a lot of board games and giant connect 4 to play with. Also a pool table. Pets welcome too.
