The food here is a step above what you would expect for a brewery. Really good nachos, burgers, and their Southwest chicken wrap that's a special right now is amazing. Service can be a hit or miss. It seems like they are often confused about whose table is whose or that there isn't really assigned sections for servers which means sometimes it takes forever to get our orders in. Luckily on our last visit our server Mike was extremely attentive. They have a newly redone kids area which is nice for families. They play sound on the TVs for the World Cup. We went to see Kim D. (Ifykyk) Okay I'll tell ya- she's from Labrea/Earl of Sand(we don't talk about them) in Downtown Disneyland... she is the most best server ever! And the whole reason we found ourselves at Golden Road Brewing. Golden Road Brewing is huge! There's an indoor open area and a large wrap around outside area with plenty of picnic tables and shade. Large tvs/ projectors whatever they are. You have to forgive me because I walked in and immediately heard my name being called by a young man that swept me up in a hug... former student, actually 3. Anyway couple of bars or a large bar... no, I'm pretty sure it's an indoor and outdoor bar, oh and we shared a turkey sandwich that was fresh and delicious ... oh and it's right across the street from like a sporting place... honestly I'm in Anaheim to see that mouse and can't be bothered by other details. While in Anaheim visiting the Happiest Place on Earth (allegedly), we drove past Golden Road Brewing and knew we had to go. We drove back after unpacking. The brewery is very impressive size wise, especially for the location. When you walk in, they have merchandise on the right side. We bought a pint glass and beer to go. Food We came for the beer, but the food menu looked really good as well. We got the sliders kids meal for our kids and the fish and chips for us. The fish was crispy and not at all soggy. The fries were also good. For drinks, I went with a beer flight, which is one of the greatest inventions ever in my opinion. I went with the Hazy IPA, Tropical Hazy IPA, Mango Cart, and the Raspberry sour. The Hazy and Sour were my favorites of the bunch. 5/5 Service There were quite a few staff working. Everyone was friendly and helpful. They answered our questions and the food arrived fast. 5/5 Ambiance There was an awesome outside area out back. There were three bars with six TVs. There is so much seating and games as well. Such a fun spot in a big city. 5/5 Highly recommend checking out Golden Road if you are in town for Disney. Golden Road Brewing has a perfect West Coast summer vibe! We came to eat and drink right before an Angels game. Although the place was packed, the venue is so massive that we were still able to find a free table. I enjoyed my steak street tacos (4 out of 5); it was very good but not great. My favorite beers I sampled were the trippel and the Pacific blonde (both 5 out of 5, excellent craft beers). Outside, they had a pop-up counter with someone grilling smash burgers. I got to try a few bites of my husband's smash burger, and it was absolutely delicious, covered in grilled onions, cheese, and mustard. I wish I had gotten that instead. We also came with our son. This place is super kid-friendly, with tons of children enjoying the wide outdoor space. My only criticism is the parking situation. Since so many people were using the small parking lots for the Angels game AND the brewery, it took us about 20 minutes to find a parking spot. I'm sure this isn't an issue on non-Angel game days, but if you are coming before a game, plan accordingly. read more

In short, great place with lots of good and drink options, but it can get packed out during events at the stadium. My +1 and I took our Little to Monster Jam at the Angels Stadium and found ourselves with a couple of hours before the main show. Since we had already parked at the stadium, we decided to walk here since it was right across the street, unfortunately for us, a whole lot of other people had the same idea. There was a lot of indoor and outdoor seating, but there were even more people, and what seemed like a mad rush to try and find open spots. It was all self - seating, with waiters running around their areas trying to make sense of it all. We circled around along with a lot of other people, and we happened upon a family that was leaving soon, and asked if we wanted their table. Score! We kept it simple and ordered burgers and fries for all of us, and beers for the adults. The food was decent, and surprisingly came out pretty quickly I have to say, despite the chaotic background, our servers were fairly up to speed. I had to take one point off because I felt like it could've been organized much better, instead of the battle Royale to try and find a place to sit. Nevertheless, we are grateful for the food and drink, and may come back when it's a little less busy. read more

Honestly such a good spot for a sports game day! The food is such a hit and you can't go wrong with a mango cart. I do want to personally give a huge shout out to Beto, although its a warmish day i asked for a heater to be on and he was super kind and funny about it. This is a great place to meet and grab some beers! The food is great too especially during their happy hour! They have a good cripsy tuna rice and my favorite beer is the Mango Mas! The service is good. It's a seat yourself situation and the waiters will approach you after some time. The place is open and has plenty of indoor and outdoor seating available. I absolutely love Golden Road Brewing. This has become a regular go to for me when gathering with a group to watch a game and have some delicious beers, seltzers, ciders or wine along with a tasty and quality made food menu. The place gets absolutely jam-packed, especially when there is a local game or event going on (Angels, Ducks, concerts) so parking can often be a bit tight despite the two lots but the service has always been on point and the food has always been great. The fried avocado tacos and the burgers have been my traditional go to items but you really cant go wrong with anything off the menu. They have plenty of seating inside and out and televisions all around so you never miss a minute of the action. I do wish they still had the table games inside in the back corner but they still offer cornhole and a few others games outside on the lawn. The service here has always been friendly and the staff really knows their stuff and is always engaging and making recommendations if needed. I am a definite fan and will be coming here for many many years to come. read more

First of all Aaron H. Is a rockstar and helped us greatly. We ordered a variety of beers, and I tried the hazy IPA. It was ok. I asked Aaron what was his best beer, he suggested the Trapdoor. Bingo! Nice body, goes down well, and a winner overall. I'd suggest this one. We had Brussels sprouts, pepperoni pizza, burger, and street tacos. All food was as delivered and so good. I would say this establishment has better food than beer, although both work enough for a solid 5 star. The music is hip and nice background volume so you can vibe and still talk. If you are attending an Angels game, it is across the street! Get here at least a few hours early though, it gets crowded. A++ read more

Tried this Brewery last night. We came around 6 pm so the parking wasn't bad. There's other parking around the area so you'll be able to find a spot. There was a large selection of IPAs and Beers. I've bought Golden Road cans before over the years, but I had no idea the brewery was so close to me! They've got some other options besides the cans they sell at stores, I got the POG Mai Tai. Honestly, I have no idea what a mai tai is supposed to be but it was good. Some friends shared their food items with me, so I got to try the poke nachos, pretzel, fries and the margherita pizza. All were good but the pretzel was SO fire. A little crisp on the outside, soft on the inside and with a good tasting cheese dip, not too salty. It also had the right amount of salt on top. The staff was also great, the person who took my order (receipt says my server was PM Ghost B?) was friendly and others kept checking in on my party to make sure we were okay. The watermelon margarita was really good! I did not know the kids area was once a dog area. My daughter is allergic to dogs and cats. So she had a reaction. Be careful at this place they scam you. I went here with a group of 6 people were we celebrating a birthday party. Half my party was little tipsy. And our waiter was aware of this and decided to scam us. When it came to check out and pay the waiter was automatically putting 30% tip on everyone bill and hiding the price with his hand and saying our total before tip. I was aware of this because I was the only one sober. He told me my total was $42 but when I grabbed the machine to double check I saw he was charging me $60 because he clicked on highest tip option not me the customer. Overall the service is slow we had to wait hours to even get our food and find a server along even to find a table. The place is nice food was good but it sucks how they have employees scamming people and hiding the prices. I don't mind tipping I always tip but I believe the customer should decide to click on the tip not the employee adding a 30% tip option and then hiding it and lying the price taking advantage of people who are drunk. If the owner cares about this and would like to follow up Came here may 30 and got charged around 9pm by the fire place outside area. read more

This is usually a popular place for my office to go to since it's so close, decent parking, and a wide range of food. During our most recent visit, we stopped here before the Angels game. My colleagues and I got sick and the only thing we had in common was the avocados (avocado tacos, salad bowl, and the pub burger, which had a smashed avocado.)
