Duck Croquettes, Warm Caesar Brussels, Anniversary shot, Wagyu Sliders, Chicken Milanese
    Randi B.

We had dinner here for our anniversary, it was nice! It's dark, it's moody, music is excellent, service was great. Between the two of us we had 4 cocktails and a whiskey flight. Husband is the whiskey fan and he enjoyed the flight, it was definitely interesting to see how the music changed the two dueling whiskey flavor profiles. The cocktails were great, our favorite out of the 4 we had was the Boulevardier. We started with the Duck Pot Pie Croquettes in a Portola Coffee gravy. I didn't pick up much coffee flavor, but what I tasted, I liked. The croquettes were piping hot, topped with delicious pickled onions and celery. We couldn't get enough of that gravy! Next up were the Warm Caesar Brussels, adorned with a beautiful corn tuile, so pretty! This was super tasty, we could have eaten two plates of this dish. For dinner I wanted the short ribs, but they were out. So I asked for the sea bass, they were out. I was bummed cause those were the two items calling my name. Waitress suggested the Chicken Milanese, so I went with that. The chicken was fantastic, so crispy and juicy with a honey mustard sauce underneath. I personally do not love arugula and there was SO MUCH of it on top of the chicken, it was a full blown salad. It also had "fennel and apple" in it, but I only found one piece of apple, it was all fennel. Chicken was great, the salad on top wasn't for me. Husband had their Wagyu sliders with black garlic aioli and caramelized onions, they were great! When we were done and asked for the check, the waitress said she heard us mention it was our anniversary, so she brought us two sweet, fruity "anniversary shots" with candles on top for our celebration. That was so nice of her, and the shots were tasty! I definitely want to come back to try more of the food. I hope the entrees I want are available next time we come. This is a really unique restaurant/bar, with gorgeous food and great service.

This restaurant is such a vibe. While we checked in at the hostess table, we noticed they had a live dj and cameraman filming on a Friday night. We sat by the bar and had a couple rounds of cocktails. The drinks were strong, tasty, and smooth. The bartenders use fancy techniques such as clarification. The short rib mac and cheese dish is to die for. Perfect date night place.

Second time coming here, and second time being thoroughly impressed. The atmosphere here is on point and the wait staff is super attentive and friendly. Completely different chef here than the last time I came, and the food was delicious once again. I had the chicken lollipops and the Brie grilled cheese both absolutely delicious. I really hope this place sticks around for a while.

This seemed like a place with really good vibes but I was not looking forward to fighting for parking at the Anaheim Packing District. I don't drink alcohol but seeing duck & portola coffee intrigued me so I wanted to go check it out. It is a small space and very dark but such a chill spot. My friends and I were expecting a cool spot with mediocre food and were seriously blown away by how delicious the food was. Every dish I tried was really unique and different in the most unexpected amazing way. This is now my favorite restaurant of the moment! *Cheese & Bread: Delicious brie, I loved the pistachios and flowers. *Chicken & Lemongrass: I cannot tell you how much I love the light crispyness of the skin and the flavor. This is the BEST chicken wings I've ever had in my life! *Short ribs: These fell right off the fork so tender and were quite tasty but what was most impressive is the balance between all the items in the dish. The smoked carrots were nothing I've ever had and even the non-vegetable eater in our group loved them. *Key Lime & Yuzu Creme Brulee: This looks like a creme brulee but tastes like key lime. This dessert has now made it up to my top three. *grapefruit mocktail: the seasoning along the side of the glass really enhances the drink. however, what i noticed about all the drinks is the ice cubes. they were beautifully square shaped and the most clear ice cubes i've ever seen in my life. why am i so excited about ice cubes? i learned they're special ice cubes from Japan! I forgot the name of our server but she was GREAT and so was the rest of the staff. Just great vibes all around. I'm planning to return very very soon and I don't even care about the parking situation, it's totally worth it!

I guess my experience is not similar to others. I came here with a group of 11 on a Saturday evening. Thank you to another Yelper who noted the entrance because it can be a little confusing to find. Once you are inside the "Make" building, there are several other businesses and Stone Groove is located in the back on the right side with a private entrance. We sat at two tables near the front entrance. The inside is on the darker side and the music is loud enough where it's hard to hear conversations. Service was great. Our server made sure we had ice and made sure we had everything we needed. She and the rest of the staff get four stars. To drink; I ordered the grapefruit fizzy mocktail. It was good but there is a smoky, salty seasoning on the entire glass so you get it all over your fingers. The water glasses are very small. The food was not quite what I expected. Maybe I ordered the wrong thing. I got the Duo of Wagyu Sliders. There was no seasoning or flavor whatsoever. I don't know if this was intentional to highlight the beef but it was very bland. If you're hungry, order more than the duo. For dessert, I shared the key lime yuzu creme brûlée. This was very tasty and well done. It was probably the best thing I had. Like others mentioned, parking is challenging and we ended up parking in a residential area and walking. Since we had a large party, 20% gratuity was added automatically and we could not get our checks split but they allowed each of our two tables to get their own check.

What a perfect date night or night out in general! Stone Groove Stillhouse is located across from the main Anaheim Packing building. So you can park on the streets or they do have valet at the main lot. Always so convenient! Walk across the street and enter the MAKE building. It's on the right after the brewery as you walk in. We were greeted immediately by the host, she was super sweet and even gave us a quick "tour" of how they make their spirits. They use music sounds to "agitate" the liquid. Super cool! We reserved bar top seating to take advantage of their happy hour and it did not disappoint. The bartenders are AMAZING. Love watching them make the drinks and chatting with them. The drinks and food came out in a timely manner and were fantastic! We were given a little treat, popping sorghum, never had it but now craving it! The old fashioneds were top notch. The happy hour sliders, amazing and tasty. Those potato fries were huge and flavorful. We were told they are fried in beef marrow! Yummy! The ranch was also a bit different but very tasty! We had to try the baked alaska and the presentation of setting it on fire was so much fun. It was super tasty and ate it all up! Loved the low lighting and the vibe. Bathrooms are located outside the restaurant but are clean which I appreciate! Adding this to one of my favorite date night spots. We'll be back!

Fantastic choice during my recent Anaheim visit! I found this cocktail bar/popup kitchen concept on accident while visiting a local brewery. Situated towards the back of a courtyard labeled "Make", Stone Groove Stillhoise is a dark, welcoming room with a long bar, ample tables around the room, and a steel countered kitchen at the back. All their whiskey cocktails are made with their bottles (MGP sourced for now) that have been aged using music (ask one of the bartenders for the story... very cool!). I tried their whiskey flight (American Single Malt (jazz), Bourbon (country), Bourbon (blues), and Rye (classic rock)). The music type listed is what was used to "shape" the tasting notes. Music is played over a cool hi-fi (not too loud), and the ambience is a speak-easy vibe. The food menu is not large, but it works. I had the slider and potato wedges and it hit the spot! They have been open about 10 months (July 2025) and really seem to have it together. If you like whiskey or this type of spot, you MUST try Stone Groove Stillhouse on your next Anaheim visit.

Stone Groove Stillhouse, right across from the Anaheim Packing House, is such a great spot to grab a cocktail after dinner. I love the concept-- they actually use music, sound, and vibration as part of the barrel-aging process to influence the flavor of their spirits. It's such a cool idea! The space itself is intimate and has a really great listening-bar vibe, with music being such a big part of the experience. Definitely a unique spot, and we'll absolutely be going back!

One of my favorite lowkey places I have discovered!! This is a gem. With incredible attention to detail and passion for the craft, Stone Groove combines artistry with every aspect of cocktail service. I had not tried any of the food but trust me I will be back for it!! The specialty cocktails were amazing (specifically Tragic Kingdom & In for the Kill) and creatively named. Our bartender Jimmy (?) was so knowledgeable and helpful - made our experience amazing!! Even the ability to make classic cocktails into something special. The ambience is perfected with real tapes playing & a range of genres throughout the week. I cannot wait until next time I can come by

Loved the vibe of this establishment! Great date-night spot, excellent food and service. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable, the bar tender was excellent in telling us about the libations available what their notes were etc. Now, i'm sure you're wondering about the food? Excellent! We started with the potatoes & tomatoes, then moved over to our table and enjoyed the bread and cheese, wagyu sliders, potato crusted sea bass, our friends enjoyed the chicken milanese and the wagyu short rib. For dessert, we enjoyed the cookies & cream baked alaska. They also have a few duck dishes which looked incredible! I'm just not big on duck, but if you are I doubt you'd be disappointed!

I've been following this place for a couple months now. But haven't been able to come due to our schedules. Today, I made a reservation for dinner. Everything was good. Enjoyed our drinks. Wifey ordered a drink but was too strong and we asked our server for a different one that she liked. Thank you to our server for accommodating us.

Talk about an atmosphere!!! This was a full experience. Waitress walked is through the concept of the stillhouse and the menu. Food and drinks were out of this world!!! A+ date night!! Can't wait to go back.

Loved this place! The drinks were on point, the music set the perfect vibe, and the customer service was amazing. Can't wait to go back!

Hello Paul, Great question! We’re not a 21+ establishment. While guests under 21 can’t be seated at the bar, we’re happy to accommodate them at our booths or tables. Because…

The website says reservations are not being accepted at this time, and I can't make one on Toast. How do I reserve a table?

They offer bar seating and booth / table Follow the wall from Randy's donuts and Look for a wall of Japanese sake/beer barrels and head towards the restaurant - the rolling boil. There will be a check in host and stand there and wait (it will be located up against the wall with a big secret door right next to the hostess station) It's very New York inside. When I first came in Spring with the amazing, Karen, the menu and everything was great Now, I took my friend who was in town from Nashville and it was a brand new theme. It's the great Gatsby. Even our waitress, Jasmine was dressed for the occasion. I would say this place is known for Absinthe. They have cocktails featuring it or you can get one of the huge apparatus (huge and glowing green) which, if you are into it? I highly recommend. Just one of the huge apparatus makes one regular drink. Or, what Karen and I did, was split it and make it into a shot for the both of us. The waitress comes out and shows you how it works and goes over everything. Karen, who I came with, was a pro and knew her way around it. She showed me the ropes lol. Honestly, if you are here? When in Rome. Go all out and try it, since it's where they shine here. They took off a few menu items and added some themed drinks. ( a couple new champagne themed drinks) They have big entree items but I suggest small bites and sharing and mostly coming for the drinks. There's no bathroom inside, so you do have to leave the bar and go to the closest one (over behind Randy's donuts) and then enter the speakeasy again Both times coming here I've never had an issue. It's a small, packed place. And yet they still have the cocktails flowing and the food coming out in a good time. So the food and drinks are good Atmosphere is lovely. Service is good. Especially for it usually being very busy in here This place is located inside the Anaheim packing district. So I suggest hitting up a couple other spots before or afterwards for some more food or drinks P.S. it is very dark In here. They never cared if we used our light to look at the menu. However, they do not want flash photography They also do not strictly enforce a dress code (my friend from Nashville asked) however, they suggest dressing business casual and not too underdressed

I really liked the clarified strawberry drink, similar to strawberry and cream. I ordered a drink after that unfortunately forgot the name (photo attached with a tall glass) but there was no special cocktail craft taste to it. Just hard liquor taste and undrinkable :( the bartender kindly offered another drink. Unfortunately none of the food was the least bit good. Steak and fries was ordered medium rare and cooked to medium well with what seemed like no seasoning was on there at all. Crab cake was just ok and the slaw beneath it was drenched in a vinaigrette that was just sour and unpleasant. And the Mac and cheese, as we were very hopeful and looking forward to, was probably the blandest Mac and cheese we ever had. We asked the lady bartender for salt and she handed us, no exaggeration (and you guys will probably think I am) a salt shaker with 10 grains of salt in it and said "looks like there's a lil something you could still get out of there" My jaw dropped. But yeah. The shredded meat on top of the Mac and cheese was cooked beyond the point of edible. That one was unfortunately sent back bc we just couldn't eat it. We were bummed over all mostly about the food.

We were escorted inside and our hostess immediately started introducing us to the lore of the place: a capsized ship with the space decorated using pieces recovered from the wreckage. The room is VERY dimly lit, and we actually stood near the entrance for a moment while our eyes adjusted, but honestly that just added to the atmosphere. On the way to our reservation in the Captain's Quarters, our hostess gave us a little tour of the main room and even pointed out the bathrooms for later. Once we sat down, we met our bartender, Drew, who was fantastic. He walked us through the different menus, explained the food and cocktails, and really added to the experience throughout the night. I'm normally a whiskey drinker, so I started with the Southeast Spice Trade while my girlfriend ordered the Pineapple Whipped Colada. Both were delicious, but half the fun was watching Drew make them. You could really see the amount of care that went into the craft and presentation of every drink. For food, we ordered the chicken katsu and ahi poke nachos. I was especially excited when the nachos arrived and I realized they were made with wonton chips. I'm a sucker for wonton chips, so those were an immediate win. We obviously couldn't stop at one round of drinks, so next came the Tarobi Colada and Zombie King. Drew told us a little about the history of the Zombie King and gave us a lesson on rum, so I had to try it, plus it came in one of the coolest mugs I've ever seen. The Zombie King was easily my favorite drink of the night. The flavor was fantastic from beginning to end and dangerously smooth. I didn't even realize how much it had hit me until I stood up. Even leaving was part of the experience. We finally checked out the bathroom and the door has what feels like TEN different locks on it. It genuinely felt like I was locking myself inside the bathroom of an old pirate ship. Between the storytelling, incredible atmosphere, Captain's Quarters, food, cocktails, and especially the service from Drew, this was such a memorable night. Strong Water completely commits to its theme without sacrificing the quality of the drinks. Absolutely an experience worth having, and we can't wait to come back.

We…read morefirst returned in early June since they introduced some new cocktails and food to the menu. The other visits were just because this is by far our number one place. Recently added cocktails: Buzzin' Jungle Bird (Jamaican gold rum, coffee infused campari, dark rum, pineapple, lime, hemp orgeat, cane, Angostura bitters). This is a great spin on a jungle bird, with some complexity and coffee flavor. I'm usually not a big fan of coffee, but it is at a good level. Chi Chi (Whey vodka, pineapple, lime, date, honey, coconut, salt). This has a great creamy texture which I believe comes from the dairy component of the whey vodka. It is well balanced with some sweetness, and I could taste the coconut and date flavors. Lapu Lapu (Asian rum, Jamaican rum, dry curacao, lime, orgeat, demerara). It is juicy, well balanced, and served with a flaming sugar cube on top. This is the cocktail they chose to serve at their booth at Tiki Oasis recently which says a lot, try it! Thai Me Down (Barbados rum, coconut liqueur, papaya, lemon, demerara, Thai basil). It is served old-fashioned style, and was light and perfectly balanced. Those Thai inspired flavors were all noticeable. Demerara Dry Float. They added and took this one off the menu as of now. It was a balanced light citrusy drink which was served with a delicious sidecar of Hamilton 151 rum infused with banana chips. I sipped half of that and mixed the rest into the cocktail. It was served with a beautiful ice shell. I'm guessing it was too labor intensive, and took up a lot of space in their freezers. Recently added food: Ahi Poke Nachos (marinated ahi tuna, masago, avocado, cucumber, spicy mayo, furikake, green onion). This is such a tasty starter with so many textures and flavors. I love that the nachos are wontons too, and not just chips. Crab & Cream cheese wontons. Nice crisp wontons with a good amount of crab and cream cheese inside. The chili sauce and spicy mayo adds another layer of flavor, and there is a slice of jalapeno on top for a little heat. Pan-Seared Scallops. This was an excellent lighter entrée. The four scallops are cooked perfectly, and even have a little dollop of caviar on top. I liked the mix of veggies and really liked the bed of potato puree underneath. Steak & Eggs (8oz hanger steak, crying tiger glaze, Nam Jim Jaew sauce, sunny eggs, rice). I normally wouldn't try steak & eggs for dinner, but I can't resist a good hanger steak. It was cooked a perfect medium rare and I appreciate that it was pre-sliced. The crying tiger glaze and sauce were so flavorful. There's plenty of rice to soak up any left egg yolk or sauce. Recently added desserts: Dubai Chocolate Lava Cake. This was excellent, but it's definitely sweet and rich. Save some room if you plan on ordering this. Ube Flan Cake. I'm usually not a fan of flan, but I have to try anything with ube and this was good. The cake had nice ube flavor, and I liked that the flan was a little firm since the looser custardy/gelatinous texture is not for me. This is definitely a lighter dessert than the lava cake. It's not a new drink, but I also had the Naval Grog for the first time. (Lost Voyage rum, overproof white rum, allspice dram, lime, grapefruit, demerara, honey). It is boozy with nice spice notes. Other repeat cocktails enjoyed were Tales from the Black Lagoon (my favorite), Missionary's Downfall, Agave Parrot, Singapore Sling, and Serpents Grasp all of which are excellent. Their cocktails, food, ambiance, and service are always top notch. Thank you Ying, Erica, Greg, Jordan, Joey, Iris, Karen, Kyle, Joy, and John for your wonderful hospitality during our visits. We will return again soon!

Had a lovely time on Saturday after lunch at the Anaheim Packing District. I had always passed by…read morethis place and never went in, even though the outside looked so cool and fascinating. When we entered, the inside felt like we were in the inside of a train, there were various train themed decoration scattered throughout the walls and floors. My girlfriend got the sex in this city cocktail and I opted for the painkiller cocktail. Both were stunning and delicious. Lots of different photo ops for you and your loved ones as well as movies playing behind the bar. We also loved our bartenders, who made our drinks with ease and were knowledgeable in the different drink items. Overall, would definitely visit again!

We arrived about an hour after opening, and the bar already felt completely unprepared. The bartender was eating food at the bar while we were there, and after getting our initial drinks, we were essentially left on our own. She never checked back with us, and not once were we asked if we wanted another drink. For a place I had been excited to finally visit, this was easily one of the worst bar experiences I've ever had. The service was inattentive, the atmosphere felt unprofessional, and the overall experience left a very bad impression. Unfortunately, I won't be coming back.

We love Puesto and always enjoy our food, but last night was one for the record books. Not just…read morebecause the food was delicious, as usual, but because we had the incredible fortune of having Scotty as our server. Scotty took what was already a great date night and made it truly memorable. Not only was he the best server we've had since we started dining at Puesto, but I'd go so far as to say he was one of the best servers I've ever had anywhere. Scotty had a calm, understated demeanor that was part of his charm. He was genuine, attentive, extraordinarily kind, and somehow managed to keep my Diet Coke with lime full the entire evening. He anticipated our needs before we even had to ask and was always there at just the right moment. Best of all, he laughed at my dad jokes. While the food was outstanding, Scotty made the experience even better. His service elevated an already great meal into an exceptional evening. We will absolutely be requesting Scotty's section every time we visit Puesto Anaheim.

We had the chicken taquitos, potato flautas, short rib enchilada, steak taco, fried fish taco, carnitas and the chicken tacos! The only thing that took away a star because we had to stand and wait for 15 minutes to be sat. We had a reservation that I made five days ago. They say other parties before us and we had to still stand and wait even with a reservation The restaurant itself is so beautiful! Great spot for dinner with the family!
