The food here was so good and fresh. We had ordered a burger, a vegan burger, a Caesar salad and Parmesan fries. Unfortunately, I did not get any pictures. I was expecting a long wait but you give your name to the host at the bottom of the stairs and then you go up. There were three of us and we were sat right away. You scan a QR code at the table, order and pay that way and then someone brings your stuff out. The staff was very quick with our order and then you just get up and go when you're done. Next door, at Ballast Point, the line was a little more manageable to wait and they have an exclusive menu for Magic Key Holders which I thought was really cool. We got the mussels and rockfish ceviche that was on the Magic Key Holder Exclusive Menu. Very underwhelming and disappointing - no flavor and very liquidy. Hard no all day long. I only took a bite or two and that was enough for me. BP Burger was mid. Average at best. I definitely had second thoughts about not waiting in line at Black Tap. I would have much preferred to eat there, but I'm glad I tried this place because I don't have to wonder if it's good or not. I know the answer now. The fries were the highlight for me. This is the place you come if you're looking to get a little buzzed in Downtown Disney. There's a plethora of beers on tap (obviously) plus cocktails, shots, wine. The possibilities are endless! We stopped by on a Saturday evening and were able to get on the waitlist and sat within 15 minutes or so (they don't take reservations so you check in at the host stand on the first floor and head up to the first floor when it's time to be sat). The food is a bit mid, nothing to write home about. I got the fish tacos. For Magic Key holders, there is a special Magic Key menu which I thought was pretty cool! My wife and I were invited to join two other couples for dinner at this restaurant. My first impression was that this place looked like a fun place to dine. You check in on the first floor and either take the elevator or the stairs to the second floor, which is where the dining area and bar are located. The restaurant is very nice and large. Employees were extremely friendly and welcoming, and they even offer a gift shop selling t-shirts, hoodies, caps, etc., bearing the restaurant's name and logo. Once seated, we had a great view of a portion of downtown Disney down below. The seats were very comfortable, and the tables were fully stocked with condiments and other items. The menu offered so many delicious-sounding options. I decided on a Cobb salad plus an order of fries, and a beer, while my wife has a personal-sized cauliflower-based pizza. They have a great variety of Ballast Point signature beers along with other local brews on tap, so beer lovers will probably be happy. Just know this is more of a brewery setup -- limited seltzer options and no full bar. Unfortunately, the food was pretty disappointing for the price point. The poke is all pre-mixed, so there's really no customization if you don't like certain ingredients (I would've skipped the onions). The lobster roll was the biggest letdown -- especially for the cost. It came across more like a cold lobster-tuna salad drowning in mayo than an actual fresh lobster roll. After getting some steps in walking around Downtown Disney, we decided to stop by for a quick drink. I went with my usual 8oz kombucha draft, and the seasonal Golden Mango flavor did not disappoint. It was incredibly refreshing. Light, crisp, and perfectly balanced. I really appreciate that it's gluten free with a natural fizz that isn't overpowering or flat. After a full Disney day, this was the perfect quick stop. We walked up to the bar upstairs, grabbed a self-seat, and just exhaled. We shared the fish and chips and a blood orange seltzer. The seltzer was so good -- crisp, refreshing, exactly what you want after walking 20k steps. The fish and chips were solid and flavorful. My only thing is I wish the portions were a little bigger like most traditional fish and chips spots. Still good nonetheless and hit the spot. We were at Ballast Point to celebrate two birthdays and were aware that there would be an automatic 20% gratuity, as we had a party of 10. I want to start off by saying our service was phenomenal. Everyone was attentive and friendly. It was Mother's Day Sunday and we wanted some brunch, we were already having a nice day out, beautiful sunny weather, timing was perfect so there was no wait time. We sat upstairs outside enjoying the view and the weather. For drinks I had an apple cider that was so refreshing and perfect for the day. Going for a low carb meal since I was already drinking my calories, I went for the poke. I wasn't fascinated by it and that's no ones fault, it was just not for my liking. Ballast Point in Downtown Disney is such a great spot. The location alone is a win -- you go up the elevator or stairs and walk into this big, open space with tons of seating options. There's a large bar you can sit at, regular tables you can be seated at, plus an outdoor patio bar that's first come, first served, along with more tables outside. We chose to sit at the outside bar, and it was perfect. The weather was nice, it was shaded, and not too hot at all -- exactly what you want on a warm day. The bartender was super nice and friendly and really helpful. They walked us through the different beers, explained them, and even gave us little tastes so we could find the right one. I ended up going with the Top Secret IPA, which was excellent. For food, I had the poke bowl and it was great -- fresh and really flavorful. My mom ordered the hamburger and said it was also great. During a Downtown Disney District date, we chose to eat at Ballast Point. We were seated at their upstairs bar area, which was nicely decorated for this Halloween. There were lots of pumpkins hanging down over the bar and there was even a large pumpkin skeleton that was hovering over some of the tables. Ordering was via a QR code and we chose to get a few sharable plates and a salad. We got the Chicken Pot Pie Empanadas ($20), Aji Lime Verde Wings ($19) and House Salad ($15). It was actually the Chicken Pot Pie Empanadas on the menu that convinced us to try this place. We definitely had high expectations for this. This plate came with two empanadas filled with chipotle chicken pot pie over a roasted pepper mash and garnished with herb slaw and green chili oil. It was plated beautifully. However tastewise, we were slightly disappointed that the empanadas were a bit over fried. It seemed like they may have left these in the fryer a little too long because the crust a bit hard. I was expecting a nice, crisp exterior. Despite the disappointing hard crust, the filling of the empanada was tasty. I actually didn't even need the herb slaw garnish. (I would even go as far as saying to skip the herb slaw which I found slightly bitter in taste). The Ahi Lime Wings came with eight wings. Similar to the Chicken Pot Pie Wings, these also seemed over fried. Despite being a bit over fried, I still found the wings to be enjoyable. The wings were flavorful with a good spice kick due to its aji lima verde sauce. I also enjoyed the queso fresco and fried maiz. (I do have to note the fried maiz reminded me of corn nuts snacks haha). Surprisingly the best meal for our visit was the House Salad. This salad consisted of spring mix, carrots, tomatoes, cucumbers all tossed in a white balsamic vinaigrette. The salad was fresh and tasty! It made for a good pairing with the fried food. My review for specifically the outside patio seating. We decided to come here while waiting for a Trader Sam's. But he doesn't trust the most was the seasonal bone marrow Skullcuterie. When this came out, it did look pretty amazing. Everything on it is pretty tasty, but the bone marrow could've used more seasoning. The big one is it doesn't come with anywhere near enough pieces of bread, we ended up asking for about four times more, if you get this, ask for more bread when you order it, maybe triple the amount. It is quite expensive for what it is, but it's plenty of food if you're just looking for a snack. Service here was great for us, but we were sitting at the bar. This is located at the downtown Disney in Anaheim. For people that already know, this is a popular brewery that have a few locations where you can sit, enjoy their beer, and grab a bite. This one sits on the second story with a great view overlooking downtown Disney. Their beer, especially the grapefruit IPA was one of my favorites. I came in to grab a bite. Their menu is very much a brewery menu, which has sandwiches, burgers, pizzas, and flatbreads, and other finger foods. I tried the asada nachos and the pastrami burger with a side salad instead of fries. The nachos were just OK, nothing special. You can find better or worse versions of this in any chain restaurant or luxury theater. The pastrami burger was pretty decent, it was a good size with some really tasty pastrami, but the burger was a little bit overcooked for me. One thing that would've probably made it a little better in my opinion would've been some sort of aïoli or sauce in the burger itself. Unless they forgot to put something on the bun, it literally had nothing but just the flavor of saltiness. What's great here is the view and the ambience. It's a great place to take a break and enjoy a beer or some snacks while you look out from above and enjoy people watching. My friends and I went to Disneyland for a friend's birthday & he was in the mood for a burger & a drink! Ballast Point from what I had remembered had good food & drinks. So he was up to go there to eat during our park visit. When we first arrived the host was very inviting before getting us seated. Once we were sat we had our first server come by which didn't introduce herself & wasn't as friendly as the host. The server then left without advising of a shift change & then the new server Elias came by to tend to us with a new trainee which she was very friendly & wished my friend a Happy Birthday but the server Elias did not, which he didn't need to but what kind of example is that to set for a new hire. We then had a pizza ordered which was not cooked all the way though and the dough was undercooked both times. He didn't have a kind response to a request for a new pizza. We then had asked for ranch for the pizzas & they didn't come out until later on. We also felt rushed into asking what else we needed as well as rushed into paying the check for the whole table. The food runner was kind & also the server refilling the waters was patient. This location I wouldn't recommend for dining in, possibly for the beers since they have a good variety of drinks. The chicken and waffle fries, the fries were super crispy but the chicken was very dry. They drizzle this sweet sauce on top, it was too sweet for my taste. The burger was juicy but kind of bland. It was on a pricier side but you're paying for the downtown Disney experience. They do validate parking but you're still responsible for the first hour of parking ($10). Plenty of seating and very spacious. Good for large group. Not sure if I'll be back. read more

First time, and definitely wanted to try this brewery. I've been to the Long Beach one and love that one so much. This place was packed but we got seated right away outside. Super great and quick service. You just order online and pay and they bring everything out. The place is huge even the bar area is super nice. Definitely enjoyed ourselves! read more

Came here to take a break from the parks and to watch the rams game with my group. Ballast point was our meeting point and we decided to sit outside. We asked if the seating was open seating, they said yes so we found a table to accommodate 6 because we were 3 waiting for the rest of our party. We were immediately approached by a young waitress asking if we were a party of three because they don't allow small parties to take bigger tables. This was a bit off putting as it was a first interaction. We ordered drinks and food. I got the poke bowl which was surprisingly good. The wings were delicious. Overall a good experience minus the strange interaction to begin with. It's QR code based ordering and drinks come out quickly. read more
