Last minute plans but it was such a great experience/ date night. Service was impeccable and so was the food. We'll definitely be back.

Walked in, there were two workers and none acknowledged us. Finally a few minutes later someone else came and helped us out. I told him we wanted outside as long as we had a heater, he sat us outside and just left, never acknowledging the heater. Ambiance was good, a concert ended next door at the Honda center and it started getting busy. Im only giving it 3 stars just because our waitress was great!! Very nice and friendly, she made sure the heater was on and working for us. She was also very attentive with our food and making sure we had everything we needed. I got the chicken tongs quesadilla 10/10 and my boyfriend got the all American burger and that was a 10/10 too

It's been a while since I've dined here. My ribs were pretty good. I like that they were kinda fatty. I chose the sweet route instead of BBQ. I asked for my fries to be extra crispy and they came out crunchy and lightly seasoned so that was good. BF had a bison burger and said it was delicious. I just wish they offered complimentary bread and butter like other similar restaurants.

Visited our family dog's favorite place to eat for his belated birthday! Parking: This spot is located in a busy plaza. There's a large parking lot. Finding a parking spot close to the restaurant is difficult, but you'll definitely find a spot further out. Ambiance/Environment: We visited on a weekend, so of course there was a dinner rush. It was very packed with more people waiting to be seated. We sat outside because we brought our family dog. Since we opted to sit outside, we only waited about 12 min to be seated. The downside of sitting outside are the pieces from the trees constantly falling. Service: Shout out to our server Aiden! He was very attentive by checking on us multiple times. Throughput was surprisingly quick after ordering. We were told the kitchen was slow, but our food came out in a timely manner. Food: We all ordered the Cajun fries to share. I thought the Cajun fries were okay. It has a unique taste than the usual Cajun fries. It's more citrusy than I'd prefer. I ordered the Fried Chicken Dinner for my entree. It came with 2 buttermilk fried chicken breasts drizzled with hot honey, red skin mashed potatoes, sautéed spinach & bacon, and white gravy. The buttermilk fried chicken was fried and seasoned well. The honey made it sweet, and the white gravy gave it extra flavor. The spinach was accompanied by a generous amount of bacon, which I appreciated. Pricing: Prices are as expected $$$ from a supply chain restaurant. Will definitely have to come back to take advantage of their happy hour deals.

We came to Lazy Dog this morning around 10:30 am and we were starving! We ordered the mini donuts as an appetizer, the build your own combo and let me just say the service was great and the food more than hit the spot. The portions are large and we ended up bringing my sandwich home. My husband had been here before and he said the food and service are consistently good.

We're longtime Lazy Dog lovers, but after they closed their original location in Westminster/HB, we've had to venture out to this location to get our fix. Coming in for brunch on Easter Sunday, we expected it to be crowded. Fortunately we had a reservation but it did take some time for us to be greeted. This particular location always seems to be understaffed, with some waiters either assigned to too many tables or too many large parties at once. Our food and drinks were great as always, though we've noticed portion sizes on some brunch items have definitely shrunk (Cheesy Eggs & Avocado Toast - serving of eggs felt much smaller than before, no longer available with the usual hash brown but tater tots instead). Lazy Dog still remains one of our favorite comfort food spots, we just hope they bring a location back near us.

This location is clean and spacious. The greeters, seaters, and our server were friendly, patient and helpful. The food was cooked to order and delivered with expedience! Our needs were met with a small child in tow. The had BLACK WATERMELON, IT WAS SUPER DELICIOUS! The ambiance was peaceful and I always enjoy the low lighting. I will visit this locarion in the future!

I have been to Lazy Dog before, I've expressed how much I love the menu, specifically the happy hour menu but the service has been questionable before but this is my first time in this location! I loved everything, food was so good but what stole the show was the service, our server Erin was amazing! Erin was so so sweet and everything was on point she was so nice to us and to all her tables around she really redeemed Lazy Dog in our eyes, she gave the best service everrrr!

I was personally underwhelmed. Extremely limited menu for vegetarians. Overall, the staff was kind and professional. Food was good. Nothing outstanding but it hit the mark. Really wish there were a few more options for vegetarians for main meals. My son got a burger and he thought it was good.

After watching our first hockey game we worked up an appetite and decided to give lazy dog a try. This was all of our first time dining here and I'm very happy with our experience. First off, the entire staff was so sweet and welcoming, babe mentioned it was our first time here and the manager brought out their signature chips on the house. Service was pretty top tier. The food was very tasty, everything cooked to perfection. I really enjoyed our food. There was a small discrepancy with our bill but our waitress quickly resolve the issues. Overall I have nothing but good things to say about Lazy dog and look forward to coming back soon.

this place is pretty decent! I've been here a few times and it's not so bad. I wasn't sure what to expect but the service here is always great! I love the crispy deviled eggs, but I'm not a fan that it only comes in four pieces! I tried a few of their beers and they were all pretty good so I definitely recommend doing a flight to find what your favorite would be. I haven't brought my dog yet, so I'll definitely update my review when my pup tries their dog menu!

Bottom Line Up Front: As a large restaurant chain, Lazy Dog will deliver good (but not great) food for high-ish prices. The cool thing about this franchise is that, as the name implies, it's canine-friendly so you can bring your pup (and sit outdoors) and order them food, too. We've visited several Lazy Dog locations in the past, but this review will focus on our last visit to this specific spot in Orange. The Food: We ordered the cheeseburger off the kid's menu and the Inside Out Quesadilla from the Larger Shareables section of the main menu. Despite it being for children, the kid's cheeseburger was basically a full-size burger, which itself was well done and rather dry and boring. But the fries were crispy and tasty. The Quesadilla, while far from being authentic, was packed with gooey cheese and had a nice seared layer of crispy cheese on the outside. Since this was from the Larger Shareable section, it could have fed two people who wanted a light dinner. For drinks, we got the Tropical Sparkling Refresher (OJ, pomegranate, coconut-pineapple cream, and mint) and a Coke with Grenadine (to make a Cherry Coke clone). My wife loved the former drink (though it was a little too tart for me) while the latter hit the spot even if it wasn't officially a Cherry Coke. The Service: Our server was pleasant and knowledgeable with solid recommendations. However, she seemed overloaded with a lot of tables and didn't return too often. Plus, our handheld Clover payment device gave us an error code; it required her to disappear for a while to reset our bill and place it on another device. I don't fault her for any of this and suggest that management beef up staffing and do a better job maintaining their equipment. The Location: The restaurant was clean, well organized, and beautifully decorated. It has an outdoorsy theme and, of course, plenty of dog paraphernalia. The Parking: Arriving at 7:40 p.m. on a Tuesday night, we expected the dinner rush to have passed. But the parking lot was nearly full. This was probably due to the patrons of the Cinemark Century movie theater next door, along with several other restaurants in the same Stadium Promenade shopping complex. So expect it to be packed if you're going during peak hours or on the weekends. The Conclusion: Whether you're a canine lover or not, Lazy Dog will satisfy you as long as you are prepared for premium prices for above-average food. But if you're expecting Michelin-star quality or affordable prices, you might be barking up the wrong tree.

The ambiance is minimalistic with a few tables along the wall and a long window table for solo eaters. However, the owner/cook are super friendly and accommodating. I ordered the signature and the double burger meal (w/ loaded fries). First off, the loaded fries is one of the best. It doesn't aesthetically look "all that," but it just HITS. The jalapeños and grilled onions balance out the cheese and bacon. As for the signature burger, the crispy cheese was a great complement to the perfectly seasoned patties. The texture of the cheese was just right: a nice balance of almost crispy but also gooey with a small cheese pull. Perfection. I haven't had a good smash burger in OC for a while, so this was a pleasant surprise. The establishment is located within a plaza, so parking can get a bit difficult when busy, but I came in on a Sunday afternoon and there were plenty of spaces available. I will definitely be back. I ordered their Signature Smash Burger meal, hoping it would showcase what the restaurant is known for. However, the burger did not resemble the menu photos. As shown in the attached pictures, the patties were very thin, overcooked, burnt, and dry. The burger lacked flavor and was far from the satisfying burger Smashburger advertises. The bun was also noticeably crushed and flattened, giving a careless presentation. While appearance isn't everything, it didn't help when the taste was equally disappointing. The overall dining experience was not much better. Only two of us dined in, with no other customers inside. Although several to-go orders were being prepared, our food still took longer than expected. The atmosphere was less enjoyable than I had hoped. Staff members were quite loud in the kitchen, and an employee sat next to our table, speaking loudly on a phone call for an extended period, making it hard to enjoy the meal. I'm sharing this feedback hoping management will address these issues. The meal did not reflect the quality I expect from a restaurant that prides itself on its food. For the price, customers deserve food and service that match the advertised quality.

I wanted to share some comprehensive feedback regarding a recent experience, aiming to highlight both your successes and areas where further refinement could elevate the customer journey even further. First and foremost, I must commend your team for their exceptional warmth and hospitality. From my initial phone call to the moment I picked up my order, I felt genuinely welcomed and valued. This level of customer service, which often feels lacking in many establishments today, truly sets American Grub apart. It creates a welcoming atmosphere that significantly enhances the overall experience, and I sincerely hope this commitment to friendliness remains a cornerstone of your operation. However, I encountered a couple of points that, in my personal opinion, warrant consideration for improvement. Regarding the payment process, I felt a degree of apprehension about providing my credit card details over the phone. While I understand the operational need to secure orders and prevent potential losses, particularly for larger transactions, for a single item like my bacon cheeseburger, priced at $17.24 including tax, this practice felt somewhat disproportionate. I also noted the 99-cent fee for online payments, which, while minor, might deter some customers who are seeking convenience without additional charges. Perhaps exploring alternative secure payment links for phone orders or adjusting the fee structure for smaller transactions could enhance customer comfort and streamline the process. My primary concern, however, arose upon returning home. Despite ordering a bacon cheeseburger, I discovered the burger completely lacked bacon, as well as any form of sauce or mayonnaise. This oversight had a significant impact on the meal; the absence of these core components rendered the burger quite bland and far from the experience I had anticipated. When ordering a single item, the expectation for meticulous attention to detail is particularly high, as there are fewer variables. Consequently, the overall value of the meal, given the missing ingredients, was not quite met on this occasion. I did reach out to the owner privately via email to discuss these points, and I appreciate their responsiveness and transparency in addressing my feedback, particularly concerning the rationale behind the phone payment policy. It is reassuring to know that your business is open to customer input. My hope is that these observations can serve as constructive input, allowing American Grub to continue refining its excellent service and product quality. I remain a supporter of your local endeavor and look forward to seeing these aspects addressed. Thank you for reaching out. To clarify, all my reviews and communications are crafted solely from my personal experiences and genuine perspectives, not AI. Every word and insight you read is authentically mine, driven by my commitment to provide honest feedback. Wanna demolish a gloriously messy burger and catch the game at the same time? Then this is the spot…read morefor you! The Classic Burger arrives exactly how a smash burger should: wide, crispy-edged patties spilling over the bun, melty cheese, and mustardy House sauce dripping down our hands with every bite. What surprised us most was actually the sauce lineup. Most burger joints offer a couple of options and call it a day. Here, we've got buttermilk ranch, jalapeño ranch, chipotle mayo, white BBQ, Hammer sauce, and our fave: garlic toum. Creamy, garlicky, and addictive - we found ourselves dunking everything into it! The vibe is relaxed and lively, with plenty of TVs showing sports and a crowd that's there for good food and a good time. One thing to keep in mind: parking can be a bit of an adventure. There's plenty of metered street parking around, but it's a busy area, so you may need to circle a bit before scoring a spot.
