Every time I come to TC, I end up leaving with a pair of shoes from Golden's. The staff is helpful, energetic, and super friendly. They have a great selection of sandals and shoes, but their sale on Birkenstock's gets me EVERY SINGLE TIME. Definitely a great place to check out and a wonderful local store to support. read more

We were on vacation in TC and I had promised my daughter a pair of Tom's for back-to-school, so I was happy to see them in the window of Golden Shoes. They have a nice selection of quality brands. However, what was most refreshing was the lovely "small town" service we received. The sales associate (#16) took her time with my daughter, and really made sure that the shoe was going to work for her. I will definately return next year. read more

July 4th 2019 weekend was my first time shopping at Golden Shoes. The selection and service was beyond outstanding. The service from Tiffany was so incredible that my husband and I are driving 4 hours back to shop for Fall and Winter shoes. The three pair of sandals Tiffany helped me with have gotten me through the Summer, walking a minimum of 5,000 steps per day at work at a very very large office campus. I can't say enough about Tiffany's patience to make sure my purchase was going to be perfect. If this shop were in my home town I would buy all of my shoes here, every time. The selection was exactly what I want: cute styles with comfort in mind! We came in on 4.30.16 in the afternoon. I like shopping at mom n pop stores, especially when it comes to something so hard for me to purchase, like shoes, and because I will always support small businesses over big box stores, any day of the week. My husband has been searching for Eccos that he likes and I was in the market for a spring shoe with a heel. We both found what we needed and with excellent service to boot (no pun intended). I wish I had the name of our salesman who was an older gentlemen with dark colored hair. He was really kind and helpful and even stretched my shoes a little to soften the leather and alleviate a problem area I always have with my feet. read more

Jack helped us find several pairs of shoes, and we haven't received customer service for shoes like this in at least 20 years. Should have written this weeks ago...a HUGE thank you to Golden Shoes, especially Kyle!!! I live in Fort Collins, Co and found a great pair of boots at a local store that I was hoping they could order for me. After weeks of not having phone calls returned or just getting the run around and excuses I decided to see if I could find these boots online. I came across them on Golden Shoes website. I made one phone call and spoke with Kyle who was VERY pleasant to speak with and very helpful. He took all my information and with 24 hours had called me back letting me know that they were ordered and being shipped to his store where he would then call me when they arrived. Once they arrived at his store he called me, took my payment over the phone and within days they arrived to me. It was the right boot, the right color and the right size. Not only did they include my receipt but also a thank you note thanking me for ordering from them!!!! I highly recommend Golden Shoes!!! Their customer service is superior and their communication was very much appreciated! I love my new boots and will order from them in the future!! I have been purchasing shoes from this store for years. Until this year I had always received great customer service. I spent a chunk of change on boots for my 4 kids and myself; when I first wore my sorrels outside I was so disappointed. They leaked and are very cold. (Not typical for sorel) so I called the store and very curtly they told me that they couldn't help if I didn't have the receipt (which I lost as we were in the middle of moving). I hung up dejected and thought surly they will stand by their products, so I went in person to plead my case. I was in the store for over 20 minutes while young sales associates chatted about parties and very inappropriate topics for workplace; with not so much as a greeting! Very very unprofessional and actually quite rude. Not only will I never go into that store again but I no longer trust or support the junk sorrel produces. I will forever shop at plamondon shoes which is a block away and has better quality shoes and boots. Plamondon employees are so kind and understanding and are not awkward or rude. Very sad that Golden no longer treats its patrons with decent service or requires their staff to be even remotely professional. Double thumbs dow read more
