For a long time I had been craving some frozen yogurt, so while I was out running some errands I punched in "frozen yogurt" in my G Maps and was happy that this place was right around the corner of where I was. So I pressed START on my phone and made my way to Golden Spoon. The funny thing about craving frozen yogurt is that I am not a sweets person at all. That's why I could have a craving for this, but it took me months to actually go. Craving for chips/salsa chicken wings or french fries and I would take care of that immediately. I'm just weird that way. When I arrived, there was a family of four struggling to get their two small kids to decide what flavors they wanted. That was fine, since I was not sure what I wanted and what size. Once the family negotiated the flavors out of their kids, they got their bowls and moved on to a table. As I stepped up, I was still deciding what I wanted. I know that I wanted vanilla, my clear favorite, but wanted something along with it. Chocolate would be my normal go to, but I really wanted to try another flavor. I chose salted caramel, along with the expected vanilla. The server gave me a nice greeting and asked what I wanted. Very nice and looking to help me eliminate this once every couple year craving for frozen yogurt. I placed my order and was soon given a pretty large cup of frozen yogurt spires reaching up to the sky. Very generous portion for a regular size. And all that for $5.95. It's been a long time since I complimented the cost of eating out. It's been about 4 years, starting in 2021. Wonder what that timing aligns with??? Brandon? I sat down and thoroughly enjoyed my frozen yogurt snack. The flavors were both very good, but I did not like the combo of vanilla and caramel. Should have done vanilla and chocolate or chocolate and caramel. Not a restaurant problem, a customer choice issue! As I said they were individually each great, but not a good combo IMHO. The place is clean, even the bathroom. The server was very nice. They have a wide range of flavors. The portions are great. I feel sorry for the server and others that work in the food service industry. If you recall the family with the undecided kids I mentioned earlier, they were first sitting at a table inside. They got up to move to an outside table and the table was a mess with yogurt drippings and toppings, yet they just left it as is. When I left, they were no longer at the outside table but their four cups and napkins were still on the table. Amazingly, there was a trash can a couple of feet away. A very aggressive older woman harassed the poor doordasher tonight who was simply trying to take a photo of the hours on the door since they had closed their doors (it was 9:01pm when he walked up) and to show the customer why they wouldn't let him pick the order up. she kept questioning why he was there. he repeated he was a doordasher several times and that he needed to show the customer proof. he was very nice and quite patient considering the way she was speaking to him. She seemed like the owner, either that or just the mom of an employee who was inside. either way, terrible way of treating a person. take your service to another location! i'm sure the people who own the other locations are much nicer. the young girl with the reddish hair (not her daughter) was excellent! she should change locations as well :) read more

The male employee working around 1:30pm to 2ish today, 11/21, was the perfect employee and a true asset. It was busy and he was so patient with an elderly couple checking out. They thought they had points and rather than just say no and move on to next in line, he took time to verify their phone number. A simple act that showed he cared about the customers and they felt that. With another customer who paid cash, he informed the next customer that he would be just a second as he washed his hands. Yet again caring about the customer and the overall cleanliness of his environment. These kinds of habits are rare, it's not just that he was trained well, he genuinely cares. Love this Golden Spoon! This location is super spacious with plenty of seating, which is nice. You don't have to wait to eat your froyo and have it all melt. They have a great variety of flavors, and I'm especially obsessed with their tart. Can't ever go wrong with plain tart. It's seriously SO good! The toppings are always fresh and clean, though I do wish they had Fruity Pebbles. The staff here is honestly the sweetest. They're all so friendly and welcoming. this use to be my favorite yogurt shop, but that is no longer true. The last several times I have been there, the portions have gotten smaller and smaller, despite prices going up. out of curiosity this last time, I weighed the 3 large cups of yogurt that my family ordered once I got home. the weights,cup, lid, and all were 10.23oz, 11.15 oz, and 10.14oz. i believe the large is supposed to be 12 oz (my husband says 16, but that seems like a pint) and that should be the weight of the yogurt, not the container and lid. We have complained in person and via email, but nothing has changed, so we will spend our money elsewhere. some of the staff is friendly, but the last 2 times, they were more interested in talking with one another and their friends in the store than in helping customers. read more

Golden spoon is always a good go to when you need a quick fix for frozen yogurt. I don't go to this location often, because I don't live close to it, but I've been a few times in the last couple weeks and it's always been great. The frozen yogurt flavors are awesome. And the girls who usually serve you are very kind. The ambience could use a little bit of assistance, there's not much going on, and if there's a line, you get bored pretty quickly waiting for your turn. A small size is plenty for most people but if you want to share then go for a medium. Would be GREAT if they offered a separate cup with your choices of toppings for a small fee so you could add more toppings later as you eat your yogurt. I'd forgotten how good their yogurt is. Prior to Covid, I'd been going to the self serve yogurt places but for now I'm kinda avoiding that stuff. I was craving froyo and they did not disappoint. They had about ten different flavor choices. I went with peanut butter. It isn't often that you find peanut butter without chocolate, so when I find it, I have to get it. I tried the coconut and it was also amazing. I love the super creamy texture. You can get any size with multiple flavors. They also offer lots of toppings and sauces but I didn't get anything added to my bowl...this time. I'm so glad I remembered this store...what a great treat!! read more

I have always been a big fan of golden spoon. I come often with my family for a sweet treat but recently I have noticed that the prices have been raised. I think these new prices are ridiculous for frozen yogurt. I will definitely not be coming back as often due to these new prices. The only thing provoking me to come back is the customer service. Nice place, great yogurt. Surprisingly busy on week night, but the line moves pretty fast. This is not a serve yourself; they are very generous with the servings though. They have a rewards card...with 8 stamps you get one free regular sized yogurt, so don't forget to ask for that and you get one stamp for each yogurt of any size - including the mini - in your order. Ordered my stuff, then tried to use my gift card and it wouldn't go through. The young lady said nothing was on it. I was like what. I know the person very well that bought these gift cards and I don't think she would of done that on purpose. So the young lady said maybe you have to call the number to activate it.
