Location and environment is absolutely perfect, great spot to get out of the sun and enjoy the amazing Gelato that Gelato Paradisl has to offer. They had a great array of different flavors available as well as different options for cones and sizes. The prices were decent, especially when it came to the amount you actually got per cone. Only negative comment I have would be about the customer service; not sure if it was because it got packed last second or it was just an off day but not a smile insight which was a little off putting; otherwise the gelato was delicious and I would come back for more just to see how their customer service actually is. I am giving them the benefit of the doubt and say that day was an off day. Flavor 10/10 location 10/10 service 6/10

It was a hot day and the sun, ripping apart at my skin, was screaming at me to get ice cream. Afraid of what it'll do if I say no, I relented and made my way to Gelato Paradiso. Line was short and I got my mint chocolate ice cream in less than 10 minutes. I didn't even need a sample, I'm a man who knows what I'm about. Regarding the ice cream, the mint was there, as was undoubtedly the chocolate. The title didn't lie, nor was I expecting it to. Servings were generous and the staff were efficient. What more could one want? Extra bonus points for the location in an alleyway that resembles the outside of the Pirates of the Carribean ride in Disneyland.

This place always has a line. Doesn't matter what time of the year you come. It's in a hidden alleyway. They have seasonal flavors and of course my two favorites are the white chocolate peppermint during Christmas time and then the lemon bar that they usually have around this time. Last night, the lemon bar was still freezing, so I was able to pay for it ahead of time and then I had to wait 5 to 10 minutes for it to get hardened. It is well worth the weight, since it's one of my fave. SYOY!

This place is amazing, We waited about 25 minutes in line to order but it was so worth it. I ordered a small mix of the mango and wild berry sorbet and it definitely hit the spot. It wasn't too sweet and the texture was perfect. Employees were friendly and once inside, service was fast.

What a fun family experience to share while at Laguna Beach. Great gelato and great friendly staff. Even though there were twenty or so in line we were served within minutes. Thirty plus flavors will satisfy any cravings. A large cup can have 4 flavors and cost around $8. Take the time to slow down and have their gelato. A must stop for a summer day.

The line was long but moved quickly. The employees were very friendly and were happy to give out several generous samples to help us decide which flavors to get. The waffle cone comes with up to three flavors, or you can get a kid's waffle cone with up to two flavors. The gelato did melt somewhat quickly, even on a colder day, but the texture was smooth and creamy. The lemon and strawberry sorbet flavors were delicious, and cookies and cream was my favorite gelato flavor. The inside of this gelato spot is small, but the alley it's located on is worth a cute little stroll. It's also a quick walk from the Laguna Beach waterfront if you want to grab your cone and take it to the beach to watch the waves or sunset.

A small gelato shop with such a big line. I came on friday with my sister and friend and we waited like 30 mins to order and the line only got longer after we got in it. I ordered the lemon sorbet and it was refreshing and tasty. Prices are reasonable and you get some big ol scoops.

The lines here are long and for good reason. The gelato is just rich, creamy goodness. You can sample everything before stacking 3 scoops onto a cone and walk out with a smile on your face. Tucked away in an alley way, if you've found the crowd of people, this is probably what they're here for.

GELATO PARADISO @ LAGUNA BEACH This place is truly a hidden gem. I honestly had no idea it even existed until my boyfriend and I were strolling along the strip in Laguna Beach and happened to walk by. We noticed this gelato spot was open and were immediately drawn in, especially since another gelato place nearby was cash-only, and this one accepts card. As soon as you walk in, it smells amazing. They make fresh cones every single day, and all the flavors look absolutely incredible. What's really cool is that you can get three different scoops in one cone or cup, or stick with multiple scoops of the same flavor if you want. I ended up getting raspberry sorbet, mint chocolate chip, and cookies and cream, and it was packed. The cone was super loaded, and every flavor was delicious. The staff were extremely friendly, and one cone came out to about $8, which honestly isn't bad at all. While we were there, the line started piling up behind us, and later that night it was completely out the door. Everyone was walking around Laguna Beach with gelato in hand. This spot is tucked away in a little alleyway, but it truly deserves a more visible storefront because it's that good. The ambiance is nice, but it's definitely more of a grab-your-gelato-and-go type of place, there's no seating. I'd highly recommend grabbing your gelato and walking straight out to the beach to enjoy it. If you're in Laguna Beach, this is a must-stop and 100% a hidden gem.

A popular gelato shop tucked away in a small alley at Laguna Beach. If you're searching for it, just follow your nose to the amazing smell of their fresh waffle cones! There's a ton of flavors to select from which can make choosing difficult - but don't worry, more than likely there will be a line, giving you plenty of time to decide. Definitely stop by next time you're in Laguna Beach.

Really good gelato, long line but it moved fast. Overpriced in my opinion but it is in an expensive area so it makes sense. The atmosphere is really nice in the evening with the mood lighting and cute shops. A little cramped but that's what makes it cozy!

Go get this gelato right now. $9 waffle cone with up to 3 flavors, and it's DELICIOUS! There's some steps and ledges around back alleyway to sit if you'd like. Staff were friendly and helpful. Lots of unique flavors. I walked away feeling like this was a steal for so much and such great gelato!

The moment you walk in, you're hit with the smell of their homemade waffle cones--and honestly, they're worth the visit alone. Warm, crisp, and just sweet enough, they pair perfectly with the gelato. The flavors here are bright, tropical, and super refreshing without being overly sweet. My favorites are the mango, Italian sweet cream and forest street berry flavor. It's not too cold for gelato in December! :)

I understand teenagers/young adults will be the way they are, but they didn't even greet us, didn't ask if we need help with anything, and didn't try to gauge what we might want. Instead one of the girls was singing along and dancing to a Justin Bieber song playing, she was wearing an ice cream cone sweater, then when we were ready to order the service shifted to the young man. It was confusing to know who to talk to. Then another couple came in and the same girl singing to the song seemed to be very helpful by greeting them and providing guidance. It really rubbed me the wrong way because I saw a shift in customer service. Again, I understand that young adults are probably not taking their job seriously.
