I ordered the cookies n' cream rolled icecream substituted the chocolate syrup for condensed milk just because of preference. The flavors were very nice. It was super creamy and had a great balance of vanilla and Oreo. The only complaint is that it was very thick so it was alittle difficult to scoop at first but once I let it melt alittle it was not an issue. I really liked the ambiance, they had alot of different boardgames, a small pool table, giant connect 4 and a foosball table. Definitely a cute place to hang out after dinner with friends and family.

Came here this afternoon on a rainy afternoon and it was perfect. There are games set at each table like checkers, cards, connect 4. There is a foosball table and an air hockey table which was broken. The ice cream is rolled up and looks icy but when cut with a spoon and eaten it's perfect. We also got a shake which let me tell you guys was 100/10! It was our favorite part. We shared the shake and got home and ate our ice cream and said I'd wished we gotten these flavors in the shake as well. So we'll be going back to try more shakes! They were delicious!!! The lady helping us out was super helpful and didn't mind answering our questions. It was super cute to see her add the ingredients for each order into a cup and make our ice cream in front of us with only a couple ingredients! Will definitely be coming back and recommending to friends! Looking forward to the new years!

During the hot summer months, we were in search of something cool to get us through the day. There are plenty of ice cream shops to choose from all over town. However, we wanted something slightly different this time. We knew that Rolls Ice Cream had been here for a while, but we still needed to check it out. Rolls Ice Cream is located in Laguna Hills, in a small shopping center. It's closest to the 5 freeway, off of the La Paz exit. The parking lot is small, but given that there aren't a lot of businesses in this lot, you won't have any issues finding a parking spot. Rolls is in the northeast portion of the lot, next to the Greek restaurant. When you walk inside, you'll notice how incredibly clean it is. They have a few booths for people to sit at. It's a small location, so don't expect a lot of seating. They have a nice variety of flavors that you pick as your base to start off. Then you can pick items to be mixed in! The process is pretty neat. If you've been to any of the Thai rolled ice cream places, you've probably seen this before. Super soft, melted ice cream is poured onto a very cold stainless steel surface. Your ingredients are mixed into the ice cream as it begins to freeze up once again. Then, it's spread out and flattened out with a metal spatula. At this point, the ice cream is frozen solid! It's cut into maybe 5-7 slices and they use the spatula to roll them up. They are placed in a cup and more toppings are added to the final product. It's truly just basic ice cream until you add more ingredients to make it even better! You can get wild with it and make your own creation. Nevertheless, it's totally delicious! I really like Rolls Ice Cream! It's nice to see more Thai inspired rolled ice cream shops showing up throughout OC. It seems kind of quiet inside, but it's a nice escape from the hustle and bustle throughout the city. It does take some time for them to make your order, so you can enjoy a game of foosball or air hockey (free play). Just remember to turn off the power on the air hockey table when you're done. Don't hesitate to stop by when you're in the area. Have fun with your creation and enjoy what Rolls Ice Cream has in store for you.

Great customer service from the cashier! The ambience of the place was so cute and had a bunch of fun little games to play. Definitely a good spot to hang out in a group or on a date. I ended up getting the coffee rolled ice cream that was so delicious and creamy and I got it topped with chocolate chips and light condensed milk. Probably some of the best rolled ice cream I've had!

Rolled ice cream has been around for awhile now, the novelty is no longer, yet there are few shops that serve it in my area. To be honest, I'm not the biggest fan of rolled ice cream because it takes a few minutes to make and I find the consistency to be hard rather than creamy. But I visited here on a hot weekday afternoon to get some anyway. Located in a small plaza called the Courtyard at La Paz, the interior is whimsical and inviting with several booths and both foosball and air hockey available to play. I like their mascot character, Rolly. Actually I don't know if it's named Rolly but that's what I call it in my wild ice cream daydreams... I ordered a combo (ice cream plus drink) choosing Raspberry White Chocolate for the ice cream and a Thai Tea to drink. The drink was ready in seconds while the freezing & rolling process for the ice cream took about 4 minutes or so. The young woman working here was pleasant and even checked on me as I sat enjoying my rolls of ice cream. The raspberry flavor was solid, not weak nor overpowering, and tasted natural. White chips and graham crumbles were sprinkled on top as well as a raspberry drizzle. I liked the small waffle cone they add as it not only made the cup Instagrammy but tasted great. The Thai Tea was refreshing and was perfectly okay but don't expect the same level you'd find at a Thai restaurant. As far as rolled ice cream goes, this place was pretty good. Thanks Rolly!

Ice cream took almost 15 mins even though there was only 1 group before us. Lots of fun entertainment-giant connect 4, foosball table, claw machine and mini pool table. All the booth had games on the tables as well. Ice cream was decent but pretty pricey. I won a claw machine for the first time, so I'm happy.

This place popped up in my feed so I thought I would stop and try. It wasn't too busy but picked up after we arrived. There were more options than I thought there would be. It's around$9 for a large and drink so that seems like a good deal. Watching them prepare the ice cream is pretty cool however it makes the process pretty slow overall. All the the ice cream we ordered was pretty tasty with my fav being the banana Nutella. There's a foos ball table to keep you entertained so the kids were happy. There's plenty of seating inside and out and they have restrooms. Pretty cool experience.

So my 7 and 9 year old love rolled ice cream..... it's not the best ice cream I've ever tasted but it's so fun!! Making your selection then watching it be handcrafted into a fun dessert. This place has a bunch of games on the tables football and air hockey..... the air hockey wasn't working when we were there in April 2023 but the football was fun!

Great tasting ice cream. The place has mini pool table, foosball table and board games. They have price cream, which is very nice and easier to win than most other places. We were in the area on Christmas Day, so we venture out. We were shocked that they open until 11 PM which is nice because we were here until 10 PM. The service is fast and the ambiance is great for a small group hand out. I highly recommend this place.

This place took foreverrrrr. We ordered just one order of rolls for our kids to share, and there was only one other family ahead of us waiting for their order (but they had 4 kids and ordered 4 things), so we waited a good 30-40 minutes for our one order. No wonder they have lots of games here to pass the time because you'll need it!! Making a rolls order is pretty labor intensive because they have to flatten the ice cream into a thin sheet then scrape it into rolls. The end result is I guess insta-worthy, but taste and texture wise I much prefer traditional ice cream. It is NOT worth the wait. Never again.

Thai tea and ube, to go. No whipped cream please. Thank you very much. Baby sized. So today was the first time to try Rolls Ice cream. I've had something similar to it prior to Covid. Rolls is creamy, very creamy ice cream. I'm totally digging it. I love it with the condensed milk and mochi topping. I suggest adding a mix and matching of toppings and ice cream flavors option instead of a whole preset combinations only. I like green tea but not with cookie pieces. And the whipped cream is overkill. Other fruit options like blueberries or blackberries would be nice. Overall a place I'd come back to again, and recommend to family and friends.

    Matcha n crème

Visited here on a Saturday with family from out of town. We loved going here when it was SOLO Ice Cream and didn't realized it's a different owner/name now. Still we decided to try it out on a hot Saturday with family. Ordered 4 different ice cream. Flavor choices were great! So many to choose from. Facility looked like a fun place for the kids to hang out. Had air hockey table and a foosball table. Very loud music though, it was too hard to keep a conversation going without each one yelling. Baby had to be taken outside as it was too loud! The wait time for the ice cream was long but understandable. Three star, was disappointed with the small portion for the price paid. I did really enjoy the matcha n crème flavor but the other people in my party wasn't too impressed with it. Cashier was very friendly. Tables were clean, not sticky!

    Coconut milk vanilla with oreo

Went on a holiday so they were definitely empty with no customers inside. The place itself is very easy accessible to parking and appeared clean. The service was okay, it felt like were bothering them when we were about to order. When I asked if anything was non dairy she said no. Then I asked them if they were vegan and she said yes but turns out they only have one flavor which was vanilla made by coconut milk. It was pretty disappointing considering they labeled themselves on Yelp as Vegan. Overall the ice cream was pretty good but definitely more on the pricier ride. I probably won't be returning due to the lack of options for nondairy/vegan.
