I would have given four stars, deducting one star for the inconvience -- I had to drive my car from Oakland during rush hour to their home on Treasure Island and pick it up again 6 hours later, which cost me 2 extra hours of commuting time because I park in a parking garage and they couldn't actually come to me to do the work. I'm giving three stars, however, because they also left the inside of my car and the floor mats wet, such that when I used my car after having it parked in my building's parking garage for 36 hours I had to air it out as best as I could while driving on the freeway because it stank of mildew. The reason I had them detail the interior was driven by the fact that I'd found mold on the carpeting, so that defeated the purpose. I thought I had called Golden State Auto Salon -- who last detailed my car a few years ago and were awesome -- my mistake. I'll never make that mistake again. I regret tipping them on top of the $550 interior + exterior cost, as stinky odor aside as they missed quite a few details, e.g. there were plenty of smudges and glue marks on the inside of my windshield still and the tops of the windows have a cloudy line across them. read more

This family-run business is INCREDIBLE! Our car, like so many during the pandemic, fell victim to a smash and grab spree in the city. Our back window was shattered and there was glass EVERYWHERE--trunk, privacy cover, our two car seats, and the backseat footwell. We took the car into a shop to have the window replaced but they did a pretty terrible job of getting all the glass, particularly the fine sand-like bits on the privacy cover and the carpeting. I actually cut myself on a grain of glass at the shop pulling the privacy cover back over the trunk! This being our family car for a baby and toddler, we needed a detailer to do a thorough cleaning. I filled out Victor's appointment form on his website at 9p for a 12:30p appointment the next day and at 11am I got a call and a text from Victor that he was on his way! Victor and (I think) his wife(?) parked their van in our driveway and went to work. Nothing needed from me other than to unlock the doors. They stripped the car of all the mats, cleaned out the glove box and center console, clean out the spare tire compartment and even removed the car seats put them on a bench and then CLEANED THE CARSEATS!!!!!!!!!!!! Every single part of my car was turned over and thoroughly washed, dusted, wiped and squeegeed. They also clay-bar-ed the exterior. My car got a serious spa day! AND on top of all that, they were honestly just the kindest people ever. I should have taken a before and after pic but take my word for it, this car was in rough condition before Victor and team.
