In all cases, California Detailing produced fantastic results that made the new cars look better than they were at dealer delivery and the well-used vehicles look as close to new as possible. For vehicles that we've subsequently sold, California Detailing's attentive work helped protect their resale value. Even when we don't have big jobs pending, we drop by their shop a few times a year for installation inspections and touch-ups (no charge during PPF or ceramic coating warranty period). The way he communicated, his responsiveness (thougutful, caring, considerate), was really meaningful. Even though his portfolio mostly features higher-end luxury vehicles, he didn't make me feel out of place. If anything, he understood what I was trying to do and genuinely wanted to meet me there! The booking process was easy. He walked me through what to expect, and we started sharing photos back and forth. He even pointed out things like chipped paint and small areas of rust that he could help improve--things I hadn't fully considered. And I didn't know could be accomplished (thought I had to go to other shops, etc). Before I even met him in person, I already felt a sense of trust. When I dropped off my car, he did a full walkthrough and pointed out details I didn't initially notice. His quote felt fair, and more importantly, it felt honest. Never again! I would much rather pay for top-tier service and have peace of mind than worry about fixing problems later. Most recently, I had a front PPF and tint done on my Tesla, and the results were flawless. OCD Detailing is one of the few places capable of tinting the entire Tesla roof using a single piece, with no seams, and it looks incredible. They were also kind enough to help install hub caps I purchased separately and recommended a great source for blacked-out emblems. My car turned out beautiful. We had ADS install a PPF wrap and ceramic coat on our brand newly built Porsche last year. Unfortunately, the workmanship has not held up. Multiple areas of the film are being lifted, separating and peeling. Edges were poorly trimmed, sections underneath are coming apart and there are exposed areas where the wrap was not properly applied. These issues weren't something we were nitpicking because they were actually pointed out. ADS did attempt to address some areas on the second visit, but when you are paying thousands for a professional PPF installation, the expectation is that it is done correctly the FIRST time. Having to return to fix basic installation problems should not be the standard. For a premium vehicle, this level of workmanship is unacceptable. When the latest issues were brought up ADS refused to stand by their work. So with other reputable shops available, I urge those looking to skip this one especially if you have a luxury or high end sports car. We ultimately found another shop that corrected the issues properly and stands behind their work.

I didn't see any of his old crew also making the move as I used to be a regular at his old shop. He told me most went to other shops or have retired. It was nice to see Simon at least. It took an hour to do the oil change. He called me mid job that my engine and cabin air filters needed replacing. $90 (2 filters $55 and labor $35.) I said yes as I was too lazy to do it myself. It would have have taken too much effort to buy the filters myself and install it. ($22 for the engine and $10 for the cabin filter Amazon prices.) There was a slight mishap as they charged me for a synthetic oil change whereas I only got a regular oil change. The billing mechanic (not Simon) messed up. I caught it on the receipt and they had to refund me $26. Otherwise good job everyone at Sunset 76 Auto Repair. Be sure to check your receipt.

Kevin gave me a quote quickly, set up a time, and came to my place to give my car an amazing wash and detail job! It was fast, easy, and he was very responsive. These guys come prepared with everything they need in a van, including their own water, and really give your ride the twice over. Bruno did an amazing job! I was moving out of a moldy home and needed my car to be treated in a particular way after the move. He agreed to steam clean the car with the product I provided. He worked out in the sun, on a heatwave day, for about 4 hours. Neighbors commented how deeply he cleaned, taking components out .... (I was trying not to haunt him!) People wanted his number!
