I contracted Bruno to clean up a few imperfections on my Tesla seats. He clearly confirmed that the stains were removable. They were removed temporarily and returned within about an hour. After he refused to refund me, I made sure to educate him on how to run a business. If you believe you can deliver a promise, by all means do it. If you are unsure, then don't promise the customer something you're unsure of. He became disgruntled after I called him out on it. At the end of the day, he didn't want to refund me a for a job that was clearly not completed/and or failed at. Be weary of promised not fulfilled. read more

Had a great experience with Bay Area Auto Detailing. I called Bruno Monday morning around 9 am to inquire about a full interior detail and exterior wash and wax, he was out to my house with his mobile service about 6 hours later. The price was reasonable and competitive with other businesses in the area but funny enough another detailer couldn't help me but recommended these guys. The interior of my car had needed to be cleaned after taking a few beach trips during quarantine, the team cleaned all under the seats and paid close attention to detail and wiped down all interior, while shampooing and disinfecting the inside of the car. I have a tiny 2 seat bmw z4 and requested interior cleaning only. The two guys who came to clean my car tried to convince me that it was $450. That's over 2x what it usually costs to detail both the interior and exterior of a large car. What the fuck? I told them I don't want any extras and they told me it costs that much because of some special leather treatment that's required for my car seats. I told them I don't want it and they said it would be $400 with a straight face. The fuck? I told them that was way too expensive and they said "$380 best price". Must be some sort of joke. I called their boss Bruno who told me it was $300 with shampooing. So the two employees basically tried to scam me blatantly. Nice. Do you really want dishonest people like this working on your car? $300 is still way too expensive for interior cleaning of a small 2 seat car like mine. Whatever. The car was clean but it wasn't perfect which is fine. But I could have paid half the price and got it cleaned as good. They also wiped off the grease from my trunk struts, which now causes my trunk to squeak whenever I open and close it. Had to spend an extra $10 on WD-40 to fix it. I can't comment about Bruno and his other employees but the two people who came to work on my car are unprofessional scammers. Be careful. read more

Disappointed with the quality of the detail. The level of detail didn't differ much compared to a $40 gas station wash. The inside of the car got dusty within a few days, and despite the "protective layer" the outside of the car attracted and retained dirt just as usual. I had my car detailed before by another mobile detailer, who was unfortunately busy, and the results this time were disappointing. On top of that I got quoted a range of $250 and $350 for a basic Honda Civic that wasn't too dirty to begin with, and for some reason the in person quote was $350. Bruno came by to detail my FILTHY Acura MDX. Before he got to work, the paint had some spots that wouldn't come out. Also there was oxidation int eh headlights. When the work was done, my paint was gleaming and the spots were buffed out. My headlights were a lot brighter too. The interior was nice and clean as well. Had my 2018 4Runner detailed from Kevin and crew and gotta say they did what I was looking for. After calling around wanting a last minute detail same day, Kevin returned my call and made his way out. I told them what I wanted and they delivered. Paint is nice and soft (or smooth)...Interior was already clean, but they made it better. Exterior is on point! Heres what would give it 5 stars (for any detailer) as long as other stuff is excellent too...use high pressure air to get water out of the crevices. That would be above normal service to me. ...just because I rated it 4 stars, doesn't mean Im not happy. I will definitely be a repeat customer. Im a tough judge and I think they did a fantastic job! My car looks amazing! That's after getting it detailed by Bay Area auto. I quickly called and was able to get my car detailed the same day. They drive to You park and get started. You pay for exactly what you get, interior and exterior are just spotless. You get an estimate over the phone, which can include add ons for additional items. Overall it's around a couple hundred dollars. He I used clay wax and other sealants to remove the dirt from paint and seal in the shine. He said I would only need to rinse my car with water and wipe off for up to 6 months. Truly my car looks fantastic, and I'll continue to use their service. read more

Bay Area Auto Detailing did an amazing job with my Audi S4 and my husband's Audi R8! Kevin & Bruno took three hours to clean our cars, which was amazing because my car was in horrible shape. I had this weird film on the rooftop of my car, almost like really bad water stains and they were able to buff most of it out! Kevin said that if I were to make the next appointment with them again it shouldn't take as long and they would be able to get most of it out. I also have three fluffy dogs, so my car has hair everywhere. They were somehow able to get ALL of the hair out, there was not a single dog hair left. Now the big kicker, which I was extremely disgusted with, was my steering wheel. I always thought my leather steering wheel was just wearing away (because it looked like faded spots). Nope, Kevin pointed out that they were just build up residue!!!! He cleaned my steering wheel and it looks new! I was shocked, happy and disgusted all at the same time because I cannot believe I have been driving with so much gunk on my steering wheel. Just amazed, anywho. LADIES!! These guys are amazing and so nice! My car is spotless and beautiful again! So, my trunk was completely soaked with Mom's soup. It was even under the carpet and pooling in the the compartment where the spare lives. There was no way I was gonna get this out myself. It's past 5pm and I'm panic yelping while desperately trying to soak up soup. HELP ME!! I've gotta get my car cleaned up ASAP or I'm gonna smell ginseng and herbs for the rest of this car's life!! Kevin and Bruno call me back right away and say they can be at my house in 45min to an hour. I remind them it's evening, are they sure they want to come now? and they're cool with working late so I'm delighted! My car is going be cleaned the night of the mess. This is awesome. Bruno comes over alone and works on the car from 7:30-9:30pm. The car is spotless inside and out. Washed, waxed, vacuumed, carpet shampooed and mostly dry. No smell but a little bit of vinegar from the green cleaning solutions. He even cleaned the tires for me. I was beyond pleased! Never in my wildest imagination that I'd expect someone to come to my house and clean my car after 5pm so that I could get on with my life the next day. Bay Area Auto Detailing is AMAZING. Simple process: Texted the number, made appointment, Bruno came on time, gave me his assessment on the car, even gave me an example of what he was going to do. Gave me the quote up front. Reasonable price. He started working on the car and I did my own thing. 4 hours later. Car looks like new although it is years old. I could tell Bruno really cared about his work, especially on the parts that I ask him to give extra care to. Although I can tell that it is a lot of work but Bruno always smile, he even gave me aftercare instruction. Amazing job done, I love it, thanks Bruno, definitely recommendation worthy. Manuel went above and beyond on the full interior, exterior detailing and wax of my car. My car had accumulated tons of sand, pollen, dog hair and debris and just everything from being parked on the street by my house, and hadn't really been detailed for 3 years. I have to update my review. I recommended Bay Area Auto Detailing to some friends. One of them booked a service and they were stood up two weeks in a row without a heads up. First time they said that their system doesn't keep a log of phone numbers after a certain amount of time and they didn't have a way to reach him - so my friend gave them another chance since I recommended them. Second time, they just didn't show or even give a heads up, but later texted saying they could see him next week, after missing an appointment two weeks in a row.
