I can't recommend Paul's Mobile Detailing enough. After a mommy-daughter camping trip, we got completely rained out and I ended up putting several soaking wet comforters in the trunk of my car. Paul and his crew are miracle workers, I'd put an exponent on the 5 stars if I could. Here is the short version - if your car has an "oh god, how am I ever going to deal with that" kind of problem, go see Paul. He knows what he's doing, he'll make sure you know why he is suggesting each part of the job, he and his workers will be thorough, and you'll be really happy with the results. Here is the long version: I have ADHD, I have dogs, I live part-time in a house in the woods, and I don't care how my car looks. I am 60 years old, I've owned cars since I was 16, I've always had dogs, and I have literally never had a car detailed, or done anything beyond exterior washing and too-rare interior vacuuming. My car was a mess and would probably still be, but some mice moved in (did I mention the house in the woods?). I found a nest on top of the engine compartment, cleaned out some mouse poop from the interior, and thought that was the end of the story. A week or two later, a truly rank smell developed. It was way worse than the car's usual scent, "Eau de Pit Bull." Being a country girl, I know the smell of dead mammals. But I had no idea what could be done. The smell was getting riper, and I knew it'd get into the fabric in the car and never go away. I found Paul's shop, and that was a really lucky day for me. I texted after 3pm on a Friday, and Paul rearranged his afternoon to meet me at the shop right away. He and one of his employees, the stench was from a dead animal. They took it in stride, and they immediately started trying to figure out exactly where it was coming from. What I saw was: This is what they do, they know how to do it, and they're confident they can find and solve the problem. Paul clearly has a ton of knowledge and experience, and he seems to really like helping people through his work. He respected my time and responded thoughtfully to my concerns (cost, insurance, how long it would take). He sent me a zillion photos and progress reports, checked in at each step if there was a decision about whether they should stop or keep going, explained the pros/cons of each choice. His whole crew was really polite, and willing (even eager) to show me what they were doing, how stuff worked, all that. Paul was also helpful in my conversations with the insurance adjuster, advocating for the kind of work that was needed to make the car usable again. As a middle-aged woman, I can tell you that kind of respect and support has been pretty rare in my experience with "car guys." It turned out the problem was not one but TWO dead mice and their nests. Paul and his crew made sure they looked everywhere; they dismantled, searched, cleaned and deodorized every area of the car imaginable - battery compartment, around the spare tire, under the back seats, center console, you name it. They used enzymes and ozone treatment to clean and deodorize it all. By the time they were done, the interior was so clean that the scratches and dirt on the outside looked even worse, so they did whatever magic stuff they do, and now my car looks as close to new as it possibly could. Five stars isn't enough. Paul at Paul's Detailing took my car, which had been through a milkshake disaster, years of husky fur buildup (can only do so much with my portable vacuum at home), and some mystery interior damage, and handed it back to me smelling and looking brand spanking new. Literally his words, and he delivered on them completely. What set him apart was the depth he went to. He could've just wiped things down and called it a day, but instead he pulled the front seat out to find and clean milk residue that had seeped underneath the rubber mat. He used a leather soft-fill compound to repair a burn hole in the seat headrest and repainted it to match. He restored my foggy headlights until they looked factory fresh. He revived the faded exterior plastic trim. And through all of it, he kept me updated constantly, explaining exactly what he found, what he recommended, and why, with zero pressure. I really appreciate how communicative he is with his clients, it's one of my favorite things to look out for when trying out a business for the first time, and he delivered. Here's a question that every auto shop should be comfortable with: "can I get an estimate of how much it will cost?" After spending $600 on work, I still couldn't get an answer to that question, with the total being somewhere between thousands and/or the car is totalled (we had some serious mold damage). After trying to ask this basic question multiple times, Paul finally told me he wasn't going to work on my car. I guess that's too difficult of a question for Paul to handle. So I went and picked it up with the entire back seat completely disassembled and took it somewhere else that was much cheaper and able to answer that basic question. It's good that it was cheaper because we had to pay a bunch of money to a body shop to put the seat back together again. I see that Paul has lots of 5 star reviews - so I presume if you don't need an estimate he is a pleasure to work with - but when you are dealing with the possibility that your car is totaled (and you shouldn't be doing the work at all) getting a basic estimate shouldn't be so difficult. In his comments he was saying he was abudantly clear. But nowhere in any of our messages was an actual price. What was this clear price that was told to me for *any* of the options? read more

First and foremost Paul picks up the phone when you call! Even when he's in the middle of a job. So if you want to get something on the calendar immediately, you can count on Paul to pick up and get you set up. Even more importantly, Paul and his crew are super detail oriented and will carefully clean every nook and cranny of the interior and exterior. Paul showed me filthy areas of the exterior that I didn't even realize ever needed to be cleaned. Our 7 and 9 year old boys cake tons of dirt onto the leather of my wife's station wagon and Pauls crew managed to get all the dirt off and conditioned the leather so that it looks like new. He'll make his recommendations for the ultimate cleaning of your vehicle because he is truly passionate about restoring cars! They dried it out and removed the hidden and visible yucky stuff which was what I wanted done. They were timely. When I got my car back I happily drove it around feeling safe breathing the air in it. I don't go in for car washes frequently, and I was well overdue for one! I had a basic wash with vacuum planned, and Paul went above and beyond. He vacuumed the protective rubber mats as well as the carpet beneath it, and in my trunk where it was in dire need of vacuuming. There was a huge layer of dust and grime that disappeared after his work (I wish I had before pictures). Paul also helpfully gave me the heads up that the outer coat on the roof of my car was worn down (which is hard for me to see since I'm short), and was hence a little tougher to clean. I live in an apartment building so it's not very convenient for me to wash and vacuum my car at home, so Paul's Mobile Service is a great solution. Without an appointment, Paul was able to accommodate us last minute since he didn't want the coffee liquids to penetrate further into the interior causing mold. The short version: I got much needed rust repairs, interior refresh, and bumper issues fixed by Paul and team, who put in 5-star effort and kept me well informed throughout the project. Although it was a more extensive job than I'd hoped, it was great to take care of the rust issues, and the car looks better than it has in a decade! The long version: I had requested quotes through Yelp to fix up my 16 year old car, which had developed rust spots on the door panels. Knowing that rust repairs are not cheap, I received surprisingly low quotes from Paul and another shop. Maybe that was because my photos didn't show the extent of damage well. Once Paul inspected the vehicle, it was apparent the repairs would be more extensive than initially hoped, requiring a lot of prep and repainting two doors. Paul was clear on the pricing of labor and materials and the work to be done. Once the project started, he had outstanding communication, sending up-to-date photos and contacting me immediately whenever a potential issue came up. After the rust was repaired, Paul alerted me to the mismatch in the new paint color which was factory color vs the faded paint of the rest of the car. Paul's team put in extra effort to blend with the other panels, and I really appreciate their dedication to a quality job. Paul's office manager Aldo and assistant were also friendly and helpful throughout the process. One note, Paul might be polarizing; some folks will greatly appreciate his enthusiasm in his craft and feels that he works to provide value, while others may feel pressured, suspicious about changing estimates, or concerned about the time it takes. Our cars were invaded by rodents. In our GMC Yukon XL, they chewed up the seatbelts until it was unsafe to drive it. In our Tesla, they had already caused $5k in damages to the suspension, and had set off another alert chewing through some wires. Then... something died in the Tesla, and it smelled like hell. Paul and his team took on both vehicles. Paul and his team found exactly where the rodents were hiding (some were nesting in the car...). They found exactly where one had died, in a difficult-to-reach location in the Tesla that required removing a bunch of paneling. They combed over every inch of the cars for damage and repaired it all. They even patched things up and fixed things in a way that will hopefully prevent the rodents from ever getting in. The cars came back looking and smelling like nothing had happened to them. To do this, they worked weekends, early mornings, etc., to get our cars back to us as fast as possible. Paul was incredibly communicative, sending over dozens of pictures as they did the work, asking questions at the right times, etc. I felt like I got great service on two vehicles that ended up being difficult jobs. Paul's Mobile Detailing seriously saved my black BMW X5. I had a dent on the front fender and some paint chips on the liftgate. I originally hired another mobile dent service to handle it, and they did a terrible job - they damaged the paint, left overspray on the front bumper, and the touch-up work looked sloppy. I was beyond frustrated because it honestly made the car look worse than before. I brought the X5 to Paul for paint correction, and the difference was night and day. He completely redid the work the right way - fixed the paint issues, removed the overspray, corrected the bumper, and touched up the liftgate so it blended perfectly. The color match is spot on, and the clear coat finish looks consistent with the rest of the vehicle. On a black car, everything shows, and Paul got it to a factory-level look. What really stood out, besides the quality, was the communication and professionalism. Paul is extremely personable and easy to work with. He kept me updated throughout the process, was always responsive, and made sure I felt confident every step of the way. He also turned everything around in 3 days, which was a huge win for us. He went above and beyond too - not only did he correct the problem areas, he did extra cleaning and detailed the rest of the car, so it looked amazing overall when I picked it up. Paul has previously worked on my 1979 Porsche 911 Targa. The car is all original, and it has some water stains, rust, discoloration, etc. The prior owner had a few panels painted that never matched the rest of the car. I would usually go to one of my Porsche specialists, but having worked with Paul on other projects, I knew he had the team to do the body, paint and interior work. We mapped out an extensive repaint of nearly the entire car, plus body work to repair rust damage in the driver and passenger door jambs. Paul was always very good about keeping me in the loop on the project, and sent dozens of pictures each day. Paul has a really good attention to detail, and makes sure the team under him completes the task to his high standards. Once the project was complete, I had a few items that weren't working properly (door locks sticking, etc.). Paul sent his team to my house to knock out the final punch list at no cost to me. BEWARE: this person prays on vulnerable women!! I find myself compelled to write this because today I found out, by shere coincidence, that in addition to me, two of my female friends have also been swindled by Paul. Knowing this, I feel I have a morale obligation to warn other's about Paul's nefarious business practices. All three of us had the exact same experience with Paul that I am about to describe for you. This is how the script goes: You call up Paul, tell him that you need help with your car, he acts very sympathetic, says he's really busy, but he "may be able to fit you in" because he's so nice and feels badly for your situation, and wants to help you but first, you must promise to write him a five star Yelp review. When asked the cost of the service, he is very vauge and he gives you some amount which sounds a little high, but says he's gonna do you a favor and try to give you a break because you're going to write the 5-Star review. You bring your car in, he has you sign an invoice with a nominal amount on it. Once he has your car, he then proceeds to write incessant text to you all day long, along with pictures of your car in various states dismemberment, saying how awful your car's situation is; he's never seen a car so (moldy, dirty, etc..) and he needs to do so much more work than he originally thought. He then proceeds to find numerous things that are also "wrong" with your car and he can fix that for you too. Even if you don't agree to the services that he is saying that your car is in need of, he will add the amounts to the original invoice that you signed. (Please see photos below.) Paul currently has one friend's car. My friend's "bill" is currently $4000 and he will not release his car until she pays it. My friend is a 23-year-old, struggling college student who does not have $4,000 and does not know how she will get her car back, what he will do to or steal from her car as another review stated that Paul had stolen items from their car. I neglected to mention that about two days ago when he started adding on more charges to her and she told him she didn't have the money he said "That's OK. I can keep your car as payment". Paul has a pattern of offering to pick up your car, as he did for my friend. After reading the reviews on Yelp today stating that Paul has shown up at other customers houses harassing them if they put up a bad Yelp review, my young friend is understandably terrified. This man must be stopped!! If he has swindled me and two of my friends, there must be dozens out there. If you are one of them, please reply to this post, but only if you feel safe. * The other friend was also swindled for $4,000 in the exact same manner but she did wind up paying him because he had her car and she had the money. read more

Paul helped me clean cat pee out of my car. He was also super helpful navigating my insurance. He was able to get the smell out and also detailed my car. To do this they took the seat full out of my car and pulled up the carpet to expose the insulation. Paul was very accommodating, detailed, and communicative. We took a company truck to Paul with really bad cigarette smells in it. The employee smoked considerably and maybe the car unpleasant to drive for the next employee assigned to the truck. Paul was able to get the smell out and get the car back to us in a day. He went above and beyond what we could have asked for. The price was fair for the work put into it. read more

This was a total scam. We paid over $1100 to polish the outside of our vehicle. We were told the interior was sanitized even though we told him not to do the inside. It was not sanitized whatsoever. I have no idea what the cost on that was. We didn't even get a receipt. Before any work was done we asked if they took credit cards and were told yes. Then later in the day their credit card machine wasn't working? So we had to Zelle. We had spilled milk in the back seat and the smell was still there. The quote was $500 but no call to see if we wanted to pay more. We did get nice clean wheels. For almost $300 per tire! Worst deal ever. The pictures says it all! I wrote a review months ago on google that never appeared, but this was truly one of the most traumatizing experiences. Please beware and read their negative reviews. Not only did Paul spray black paint on my trim to try and sell the service to me, he can get quite intense and defensive with long text messages. I just needed mold removed from my interior after water leaked in. He was generous enough to hold on to my car while I was trying to get things settled with my insurance, but somehow this mold removal service ended up costing me THOUSANDS of dollars. They also didn't put my car back together completely and BROKE my door trim and parts in my trunk trying to put it back together (and didn't say a word). Parts were also missing and they didn't even realize until I told them. I couldn't get myself to return to settle this so I decided to pay for my the damage myself. I never go out of my way to write bad reviews, especially when it comes to small local businesses, but months later and I still think back to how uncomfortable the experience was.
