I'm sharing this experience because it highlights a policy that seems to prioritize the business at the expense of the customer. In March, my family attended a movie at Golden Ticket Cinemas 7. After purchasing tickets and concessions, we entered a nearly empty theater only one other person was present. Shortly after, a manager informed us that due to demand for another showing, we would need to leave. Instead of a refund, we were given a green ticket stub with a six-digit code to use at a later date. About seven weeks later, we tried to use that credit. Like many customers, we planned ahead and attempted to reserve seats online. The system showed availability, but when we entered the six-digit code, it was not accepted. I called the theater for help and asked if they could hold seats for the next day especially since we already had credit from a prior inconvenience. They declined, citing expected demand. I then asked for a promo code or any workaround to reserve seats in advance, and that was also declined. This creates a frustrating situation: the theater has already received payment, but the customer assumes all the risk. If we had shown up the next day and the theater was full, we would have been turned away again with no guarantee of service despite already paying. To avoid that outcome, I had to drive across town the night before, go in person, and redeem the stubs just to secure seats. That shouldn't be necessary in a system where online reservations are the norm. I understand policies are meant to protect a business, but there should be reasonable accommodations especially after a disrupted experience initiated by the theater itself. Even a simple solution like temporarily holding seats with a release window would have resolved this. Instead, what should have been a recovery from a poor first experience became a second frustrating one. That's disappointing and feels entirely avoidable. read more

Small theaters. Nice lounge chair seating. Hot food and alcohol if you want. Some chairs have seen better days. Sound quality and projection were quality. I like the fact you can reserve your seats ahead of time. If you are going to watch multiple movies the refillable popcorn and cups are a deal. Prices a little higher than the other theater in the area but the seat reservation makes up for it for me. read more

Stopped in the theater to catch a movie. Ticket prices were comparable to other theaters I've seen around. The theater I was in was pretty small, it had 5 rows of seats. The seats were a very comfortable pleather material and they reclined back. The sound system was great and the theater offered plenty of food and N/A and alcoholic beverage options. Large parking lot. Worth a visit! read more

I wanted so badly to give this theater 3 stars. They dont have complimentary bags so we can split our popcorn. But my reasonable side explained to me that complimentary bags are probably a hit to the bottom line fof a small theater like this. Everything was fantastic. Although the theater we were in had like 5 rows, it was comfy seats and great sound. The popcorn was fantastic and they had unique flavor slushies that my kids couldnt get enough of. It seems they had more staff than needed but Im not doing payroll so cant ding them for that. I would recommend this theater and bring my own bags next time. read more

Gotta love the reclining armchairs - super comfy seating I've only seen in major cities like San Diego before now. We went to see two movies the week we were in Rapid - Fly Me to the Moon and Twisters 2... if they had other movies playing that we wanted to see, we probably would have gone another time, it was a great way to beat the heat and enjoy a nice cool movie. They were out of the refillable popcorn buckets the first time we went, but we did pick one up the next time and kept it for future use. Refills are $5 which isn't the best deal but not the worst. Their snack bar pricing was pretty steep, especially since the bundles didn't offer any sort of discount. Overall, I do recommend this place for movies though, and would go again. read more

The main appeal of this theatre is the membership and the cheap movie tuesdays. The only time it's not worth it if the moves aren't the best for a bit. Membership also makes the food cheaper as well. The theatre itself is more up to date, definitely working AC and heat and they can actually send your food to you during the movie if you desire! Another plus is the yearly buckets. You can buy them once and reuse them for cheaper popcorn refills throughout that year. They aren't small either! This is the kind of theatre experience you want! read more

Just went to the theater for a show with tickets advertised online at $8 a piece for military. The theater was charging $14 and refused to accept the advertised ticket price. I refuse to support a business which uses bait and switch pricing and encourage others to boycott such a business. read more

What a terrible experience. We arrived 20 minutes before our movie. Immediately got in line at concession for snacks and tickets. We were 3rd in line and it took 40 minutes to make it to the register. By the time we got there, the showing we came to see was sold out. Next showing was 45 minutes away. We bought our tickets and decided to wait at the bar in the lobby. We walk over and the entire bar area is packed. There is no bartender in sight. Others said they had been waiting a while and hadn't seen one yet. I walk over to an employee and tell them we need a bartender. Shortly afterwards, an employee approaches the bar and informed everyone that the manager that is of age to serve alcohol has left the premises and she was going to look for another employee of age. About 10 minutes later, an employee walks in behind the bar and announces she will not be serving any draft beer because she doesn't know how to make it "not foamy." She starts rummaging around behind the bar for a few minutes, then makes another announcement. She will be unable to serve any of us, because she can't locate the keys to unlock the coolers, beer taps, or liquor cabinets. At this point we had exceeded our patience. We asked for a refund on our tickets and left. Very disappointing experience. We will not be returning. read more

the customer service is OUTRAGEOUS. we got into our seats just fine, but when we go to get drinks were turned down because we cant show identification. now that's understandable but coming from two adopted daughters we dont even know our social security number. trust me we are well over 17. and the worst part is we didnt even get our DRINKS.
