I want to express my deepest gratitude to the incredible team at Golden Triangle Emergency Center in Port Arthur for saving my husband's life after he suffered a heart attack on April 25th. From the moment we arrived, every doctor, nurse, and staff member treated him with urgency, compassion, and exceptional professionalism. Their quick actions and outstanding medical care made all the difference during one of the most frightening moments of our lives. We were also incredibly impressed that their care didn't end when he left their facility. After he was transferred to Christus SETX St. Elizabeth in Beaumont and later discharged, the team at Golden Triangle Emergency Center personally followed up with us a couple of times to check on his recovery. That level of genuine concern and dedication is something you don't see every day. Thank you for not only providing outstanding emergency care, but also for showing that your patients truly matter. The lady in the front was excellent but everyone else in the back was horrible. My husband and I are new to the area and instead of treating my husband...the doctor called him out to get a primary care doctor before coming here. The quality of care was horrible too...I felt like they were forced to help me. In my opinion if I came into your facility is because I need your help and not your attitude. Also they say that coming here we would receive "the golden standard of emergency care"... yeah no that did happen. Never again... read more

I was billed $2900 for a coronavirus test. The clerk told me the test would be $150. I am hoping that this was a mistake, but for now I would NOT recommend coronavirus testing at GTEC. I am shocked. 15 day update: Apparently this was not a mistake. I was billed an additional $900 as well. AVOID. read more

I also left a 5 star review on google and will anywhere i can for this place! Friendly staff the Dr i saw had great bedside manor was super friendly and i was in and out very quickly. Would absolutely reccomend this place to anyone in need. They are great! The nurse as she wheeled me out even grabbed a cosmic brownie from their snack and coffee bar/area in the waiting room. This place is beyond fantastic. I've taken my son here twice and both times I've been in and out in about an hour. That's with blood work, tests and X-rays. The staff provided my wife with Mother's Day carnations, brought her coffee and were all around awesome. They also provide free snacks, water and Gatorade, and check in frequently to see how you're doing. The rooms are clean and spacious, and they even have children specific rooms. read more

After using this facility, I will never go to a hospital ER again!!! The staff was amazing! I went in with kidney stones. I was brought back immediately. The nurses were so professional and friendly as was the doctor. I got the sense that the staff were very happy with where they work. The doctor himself sat at my bedside monitoring my blood pressure to make sure it was coming down. I'm a nurse myself and almost wanted to apply for a job!!!! Stellar service!!!! read more

In the beginning, my experience was okay. I got all the papers I needed for my sisters school, or at least I thought, and answered all of my questions. When the school needed a release form for my sister to participate, I wasn't able to get one because the doctor that night wasn't present. I completely understand why the doctor who was there wasn't able to, but when I mentioned what the school needed, the nurse was so sure the school note mentioned a release date. After all that, I was told to take her to her pediatrician, have her look at it, and have her release my sister if it was okay to. Mind you they don't take walk ins, but I tried contacting them anyways. The next day, I verified with the school nurse and the note didn't have the information she needed so I was just glad her doctors office had an opening. At first they weren't going to see her and told me to go back to golden triangle, but after I told them what happened and what I was told, her doctor decided to see her and honestly, they told me different things. So instead of going back to get her stitches off on the 5th day at golden triangle, I'll be going to her pediatrician instead to take them off on the 7th day. I know all doctors are different, but it became a big inconvenience when all I needed was a release note which I should've had in my envelope before leaving. Aside from all that, everyone's nice, but still not my first choice. read more

So far so good. Came in on a busy day, however I was the only one in the waiting room. Went back after about 10 minutes. Had to wait for my room to open up to due to my specific reason for being there. Took about an hour from when I got there to get my room. Staff is great and it is so clean. In the waiting room they offer free snacks and free water, coffee, and Gatorade. They also do not except Medicare/Medicaid, so there aren't people with fake symptoms as you might run into at the local hospitals. read more

Stay away from this place as far away as possible. My family has visited this place three times this year, the people were nice and we may have spent 30 minutes to an hour each time but afterwards received some really huge bills, they billed my insurance company over $17K for these visits and billed me directly for over $10K (I supposedly have a 2600 deductible). I don't understand how a visit that lasts 30 minutes and a couple of tests can cost this much, I am still waiting for my insurance company to sort this out. But I will never come back to this place and would not recommend to anyone to come here, it is cheaper to go straight to the emergency room than here. They should say upfront to all visitors that they charge $1000/minute you spend there. read more

Beware!!! Ordered unnecessary tests! The charges are astronomical! It would be best to go to the local hospitals.

Beautiful facility however I received the worst care of my life. I arrived at approximately 5 P.M. On a Saturday evening and was greeted cheerfully, upon examination the DR. learned I tripped inside a grocery store and at that point it seemed everything changed. I felt like I was being treated as a fraud, the X-ray tech was rude and I was basically ignored after, left alone in a room for what felt like hours although It was much less time when a nurse came in (I never saw a doctor after the initial exam) and said I had minor bruises and nothing could be done basically $500 (ER deductible) for what felt like judgement and zero treatment. On Monday morning I went to my PCP who ordered X-rays and an MRI, it turned out I had 5 impacted vertebra and 2 tears on the labrum as well as rotator cuff injuries. I felt like the moment I explained where my injury happened everyone at GT's attitude changed. I would never recommend this facility to anyone and sadly I'll not use a "retail ER" again because of my experience at Golden Triangle ER. read more
