We went to drop off used light bulbs for recycling. We were in a hurry so when we walked in we were directed to walk to the other side of the store. Good customer service would have been to take bulbs and offer to drop them off for us. The staff member gave us negative attitude. With a friend, helping a friend. Running short errands to fix a sprinkle issue. Not me of course, I'm along for the ride. So I found myself meandering this Ace Hardware. Loads of parking and cool air conditioning felt so good. There is a cute cat up front, I was told I could pet and or pick up. I chose to pet. Very friendly welcome. I was immediately greeted and asked if I needed help. Which I didn't. Decided to look in the bbq section. Wow! Am amazing selection of Traeger smoker/grills. Loads of fun unique condiments for every grilling wish. The Yeti area was outstanding also. Yeti is a brand of thermoses, coffee tumblers, wine tumblers, etc. They keep your drinks hot or cold for hours!! I wasn't in the market for a purchase today, but if you are, come here. The store has all your hardware needs. As best I could during my short visit. Happy Yelping. read more

If it was possible to leave a lower review I would. The store is a mess! The service is horrible and down right disrespectful. I swear the guy helping me was lit as a kite! Shelves are empty and don't have enough of what you need; like 1 piece or component to your project. I'd rather drive 15 miles to Dinuba Lumber; their store is clean, people greet you and are friendly and knowledgeable, and best of all they had what I needed when I was in a pinch! read more

I've been using this store for a long time. I'm always greeted when I walk in and I always get asked if I need assistance with anything. They have a good selection of general items you may need. The value seems to be pretty consistent with other hardware stores. read more

The people who work here are unprofessional. They have signs outside asking that people wear masks but they don't wear masks or enforce the mandate on customers. I live with high risk individuals so I do not feel safe to even come into this establishment to pick up the few items I need for simple fixes around the house. It's really disappointing to see the employees being this careless about a potentially lethal virus. read more

i just need to share that Yes' i am a prime Amazon shopper. And love how ACE have free drop off returns. Because I have messed up many times thinking Amazon is cheaper. Or its your go to for everything. Be Smart and check your local stores first. Alot of fake reviews and over priced items on Amazon. I have always received great service at Ace, and never pushed to buy. We built a desk for my son and got some great hardware buying screws and nails needed individually exactly what you need, and you can touch and size up to what your need is. You cant even do that at Big Home improvement stores, as everything is inside packages. And ordering online is always a hit and miss. Many art projects I have created going to Ace.. Last time I was in here I asked for help at the front desk because I didn't know what to look for with a certain item. Person told me they'd have someone over. A while went by and nobody came so I just grabbed what I was looking at in hopes that it would work. Customer service is not good here and most don't know how to help you if they're not sure about something. Be sure you know what exactly you're getting before you come to this place. read more

Girl at the register very rude and not helpful at all. My purchase rang up at a different price than the price on the shelf. I let her know and she told me that price is not correct and they had just put on all new tags. I told her to check the shelf where I got the items from. She said someone must have left the old tag and the price it rang up for is the correct price. She then told me that item was not for tag on the shelf and must be in the wrong area. I asked her where the item I wanted to buy was supposed to be displayed and she said "I don't know, what do you what me to do" in a very unprofessional and extremely rude voice. I got a refund and walked out! I try to shop local but with people like this, I'm better off going to Home Depot!!! read more

This store is fairly large and pretty well organized but I can't give it more than one star...here's why. While they have a lot of merchandise, the employees know very little about the products they sell. I've gotten wrong answers, I've gotten no answers, but I have yet to get a correct answer on anything! I just drove 15 miles one way to get a replacement chain for a Sthil chainsaw. I called first and was told that they absolutely had a chain to fit my saw; a very common saw, Sthil MS 170. I got to the store, found an employee who knew very little about chainsaws and after 20 minutes of searching, he said..."well it looks like we don't have the chain in stock. He then offered to order it for me. I told him that they had just wasted my time as well as 15 miles of driving one way and that I could damn well save some time and money and order it myself; which is what I did! Online I found two chains for about half again as much as one chain would cost there! This store is absolutely off my list! If you need hardware in Reedley, go to Reedley Lumber and Hardware; at least they know about the products they sell!! read more

I went in to buy an L-Wrench set. I could not find it or any employee willing to help me. I did see a young employee talking with a group of teens in the middle of the store and a woman cashier stuck by the cash register. Finally i spot an employee lugging some stuff and i ask him. He tells me where theyre at. I get what im lookimg for and go to the only lady cashier. No hi, thank you's or even a smile. She had a flat personality and was not paying attention. I will not come here again. If they had been friendly or attentive it would have made for a better visit. No wonder its not as busy. They really need to train their employees on customer service. read more

I would like to start off by saying that long ago, this store WAS great. Now, I will never step foot back in this place. The employees are incompetent and rude. I gave them several opportunities to keep my business as I like to shop local, but I will now take my business somewhere else. I went in on a Saturday inquiring about an online purchase, nobody knew how to pull up order and one of the employees who when another employee asked if he could help me, before we could even finish telling him what I needed, he said no sorry I don't know how to do that only the manager does and he's not available. I found that hard to believe that not one other person could help me with a service they guarantee to be ready by end of day but yet there is no one available to process these orders? I worked in retail/ customer service for many years before becoming a nurse and that kind of "I don't know, I can't help you attitude" was never ACCEPTABLE ANYWHERE I've worked. Mind you I worked at Home Depot for most of my retail days. So apparently this employee young guy with beard and glasses didn't like that I said I know how things work in retail and immediately walked off cussing me out. Saying Fuck that, he doesn't get paid for this shit, mumbled calling me a bitch as he walked towards the garden door. So I called ace headquarters to file a complaint but while doing so, the female cashier Deniece, offered to try to find out how to pull up order. I provided her with the information, she verified then she printed it and had me sign that I received and picked up what they had already charged me for. I will never shop here again after that employees attitude and manners. Thankful Deniece did her best to help me leave happy but from now on I will take that extra drive to Home Depot or Lowe's because they would never allow their employees to treat someone that way nor would everyone be so untrained. Manager: if you are offering the online pick up service but yet not training your staff to process than this is mainly a reflection of your poor supervisory skills. Your employees should know how to run the store even without you. UNACCEPTABLE! read more
