Glad they were passionate about their fields too. - Their dance club organization was poorly executed. For every assembly performance, you were required to show up to practice 4am the day of or else you wouldn't be allowed to participate, even if you had been loyally attending all weekly practices prior. A teenage boy soon arrived to say only a few words only to be loudly scolded by the narcissistic mom, boy looked down in silence. I am familiar with those behaviors, looking down as it's a familiar feeling by my own mother. Neither child said a word. Why? Because they are used to being berated and if you even dare attempt to defend yourself, well be ready to be beat or unjustly accused of attitude for speaking up. Dear mom, I can only imagine who you treat your child in private if you so boldly assault your child in public. What a joyful and inspiring event to see performances and energy from the staff and families, everything felt so warm and community-centered. It was also a wonderful opportunity to learn more about Westminster School District and the amazing programs they offer. My husband and I have been talking about starting a family, and after this experience, I found myself imagining our future child growing up in an environment where learning multiple languages is encouraged from such a young age. The school itself is not bad. My experience was heavily impacted by one teacher, Andy Ho. He shows…read moreclear favoritism toward certain students while dismissing or ignoring others. Interactions often feel extremely unprofessional, with excessive gossip and behavior that make students uncomfortable. He comes off as passive aggressive often and will make inappropriate remarks about students to their faces as a "joke". If he doesn't take a liking to you for some apparent reason, he will go out of his way to show it. There has also been incidents where he is insulting students appearances to other students. Rather than treating students fairly and respectfully, he seems to prioritize a select few, creating an unfair classroom environment. In his class, he hardly teaches leaving students without instruction and support they are meant to receive. His demeanor is just plain rude and unprofessional and disappointing as someone who is meant to teach young people. As he is someone who represents the school, I found his behavior towards students extremely repulsive and miserable. This has significantly affected my overall impression, and experience of the school. I strongly believe that school administrators should reevaluate his role as a teacher here at Vista View if they want students to feel welcomed.

I truly do understand this effort, as I know that our school does pose as a threat towards others wishing to earn the title of first place. Next, to assess this schools environment, we will look to the overall vibe conveyed. I and other performers agree that a "fall feeling" was in the air. The bleachers are as comfortable as bleacher seats can be and the entire area is very spacious and clean, sound system was outstanding and parking was avail on the street and a adjacent school parking lot Great job to the host school for a successful and fun event
