Absolutely great! the place is very clean and inviting. Noticed most order take out, I did stay to dine in. Service is quick, friendly and clear. Very ample menu, you can order by number of item. You can order portion size of combo (which comes with rice and egg roll). BTW one of the best egg rolls I've had, the filling was full of veggies. Easy parking at mall plaza. Easy to order. Several orders in and was about a 20 minute wait. Chicken and mushrooms was good. Beef with orange sauce was very good. House fried rice also good and hot and sour soup was on point. First, forgot my order. She told me to sit down and wait after I was told 10 minutes on the phone. Strange smell from the bag when I got in the car, like burning plastic. Got the stuff out of the bag, burning plastic smell is even worse. Dumplings were oily and bland. That had to be, hands down, the absolute WORST beef lo mein I have ever had. Overcooked noodles, mushy tasteless meat, no vegetables in it. If you want good chinese food, go to parkesburg down on first ave where planet fitness is now. Their food is delicious! Iam going to buck the trend and honestly say the food alone was 3 stars - but it earns a 4th on some very very nice customer service. This couple is down right sweet and the whole experience should be considered. I ate there and tried 4 dishes to write a full review. Before we talk food, the restaurant is simple but very clean. My four dishes were 27.00, which to me was cheap. I had egg drop soup, crab ragoons, chicken wings and the sesame chicken combo. EGG DROP - looked appealing, thick and hardy - but VERY bland. I needed to keep pouring and pouring soy sauce in there to finish it. I recommend buying the chips for .50 and add them...yes it is worth it - they are sealed and fresh. CRAB RAGOONS - one of the biggest stars - crisp, filling was delicious - wonderful. CHICKEN WINGS - these wings looked starved, bone skinny, and that gave them a dried out appearance. They were well fried and tasted okay but no meat - just a low quality chicken supplier SEASAME CHICKEN COMBO (fried rice and eggroll) - first the bad - ditch the fried rice and the egg roll - big waste of 800 calories. The rice was dry and tasteless, the egg roll was closer to a large spring roll - it had no body - skimpy. A good egg roll needs to be thick with filling, crunchy but chewy as well - again - bad product supplier The Sesame chicken was EXCELLENT - well fried, crispy with the seeds and perfect sauce. I'm by no means a Chinese corner-store expert, but I'll have to say Golden Wall is a place to fill that inner craving when you are in Lancaster. The owners of the shop are incredibly friendly, and they offer quite an extensive selection of items. While I tend to stick to my not-so-healthy selections when I'm craving typical Chinese food, it's still a pleasant surprise to see a "diet" section to cater to the calorie conscious individuals. Regardless, I stuck with my General Tso Chicken, which was delicious and well-portioned. When you combine that with a friendly pair of owners, my tummy cannot complain :). read more

I will start with there's nothing necessarily overly unique about this Chinese place BUT it always on point with their food, is in a pretty convenient location, and is ALWAYS clean. Got sweet and sour chicken with chicken fried rice Thursday 1-14-21. The rice had 5 little pieces of chicken in it. The food didnt taste bad, but before to long i was stuck in the bathroom. Golden Wall is my go to place whenever I'm famished. Their orange chicken and beef with broccoli hits all the right spot and i always come out satisfied. The people running this place is amazing and easy to get along with No reason for anyone to dislike this place and/or skip it when in town. read more

Service at the counter is done with a smile (we ordered take out), and we were delighted by the delicious sesame shrimp in particular. The sweet and sour chicken were okay, the beef in the beef and broccoli was mush and flavorless. The fried rice was not good, maybe if you got a pork fried rice or something it would be good but the fried rice was literally just flavorless yellow rice. Eggs rolls are thine the size of a spring roll there wonton soup doesn't have green onions they charge for the fried noodles the bag that comes with the soup didn't have many in it . I wanted a spicy dish and only ones you can get in a small size is curry . All others are under there speciality dishes and come in one size . I got the Kung po chicken it was dri and the chicken was chopped up small . In ending there over priced and under sized in what they charge .
