I can not say enough good things about Alfredo and Golden West Pool and Spa. Our pool has never been cleaner and so well maintained. He is very knowledgeable and is alway on top of timely treatments. We had some tree trimmers turn the pool into an absolute disaster and cleaning was a week away (see pictures below). We called Alfredo and within the hour he was at our place cleaning and treating the pool. Before we knew it he had the pool back back to its pristine condition. He is fair, honest and so thoughtful. Got everything working in short order and turned the pool from green to clean (and swimmable) in just 3 days! Replaced the pool filter in 1 day at a reasonable price. I've been tired of having pool service from people who don't provide much service. I've had pool service from people who didn't clean my salt cell so it burned out. There have been times when I wondered if whether the pool service came out at all. Excellent service! Alfredo will work through any issues with you and find solutions that work. He is very honest and would tell you immediately what can be fixed or cannot be fixed, so that you don't have to waste money on new equipments. If there are equipments that are needed to be fixed, he would provide you options from cheap to expensive pool supplies. He also takes his time to explain to you which one is better for your pool and last a long time. So far, so good! Alfredo inherited a very poorly maintained pool with equipment that is aging. We have had to do some serious trouble shooting and address deferred maintenance. But I think we are now on track. And all the while, the weekly service is going well. Golden West just "knocked it out of the park" in fighting for and securing and installing a new heater as our old one gave up the ghost in early Fall 2020. I delayed replacing the heater over the winter because losing 6 months of a warranty didn't seem like a good idea.
