Bourbon chicken tasted as bad as it looks

This was the worst of the bad experiences I have had there. It was lunch time so I was hopeful. Ordered bourbon chicken, house lo mein, crab Rangoon and a hot and sour soup. The only edible thing in the order was the crab Rangoon it's a fried item so I try and limit how many I eat but my dinner, the bourbon cwas inedible and was not fit for a dogs consumption so I ate the Rangoon and a bowl of cereal for lunch and dinner. My soup was bland and neither hot nor sour and sooooo thick. Way too much thickener added to it. The lo mein had no vegetables and pork chicken and shrimp was laughable. Just the worst food I have had to pay a small fortune for. NEVER AGAIN!!!!

Lunch size shrimp w/lobster sauce. $2 for extra shrimp. Well worth it. Delicious.

She got the Dancing Beef, and it was the best beef and veg dish she had ever had. That's what Linda said, I tried it, and it was tasty. The veg were perfectly par cooked, and the sauce and the veg had a smoky fire taste. Delicious. I got the Japanese Steak. This came with a couple of very lightly dressed side dishes. I was absolutely happy with it. The waiter was great, the interior (see the hundreds of pics people post) of Le Resto is palatial. We were both impressed enough that, going to keep hitting the high end of the menu. All the food at Le Resto is great. But, the higher end items are just a step up, so try these items every once in awhile. You won't regret it at all.

We decided to try their buffet for Memorial Day, as we were visiting the town. While we have experienced numerous buffets, this particular one offered a rather limited selection of food, and they appeared to struggle with managing the crowd. Frequently, the serving platters were empty. Given that it is typically a sit-down dining establishment, it is possible they underestimated the volume of customers.

We didn't see much of the inside because we chose the option to enjoy our meal outside in the garden. Fortunately, we were able to snag a 5:30 PM reservation a couple Fridays ago. My friend set up notification alerts on Resy and a different party canceled their reservation the day before. This restaurant is very popular. KHAO YUM - 24 This is a 17 ingredient salad with tamarind dressing. I'm not usually a salad person, but this one was incredibly delicious and refreshing. Lots of crispy textures from the various vegetables, some juicy, tart and bitter pieces of grapefruit, and the crispy rice was the perfect fried carb on top. A bit pricy, but a great app to share for the whole table. CRISPY SHRIMP - 32 We were each able to get two pieces of shrimp among the four of us. The shrimp was batter and fried with a sweet garlicky glaze. While it was crispy and juicy, I thought it was a bit too saucy. It wasn't my favorite, but one of my friends really enjoyed the shrimp -- sauce and all. KHAO SOI - 48 The red and yellow curry was flavorful, and the egg noodles were perfectly soft with a bit of chew. The wagyu beef cheek was tender, but there wasn't much in it. Overall, I thought this was a bit too overpriced for what it was. MASSAMAN CURRY - 48 Incredibly phenomenal The massaman curry was incredibly rich with its sweet and savory flavor. Each order came with a whole lamb shank. The meat was incredibly tender and flavorful -- it fell off the bone with ease. I highly recommend this entree for its delicious curry and lamb. Overall, pricy food with a elegant aesthetic. It's also more of fusion Thai food than it is authentic. Can definitely see why this is one of the more popular and well-loved restaurants in Pittsburgh!

It is elegant and relaxed at the same time. The service was great. Our server was very knowledgeable about the menu. The cocktails were delicious and they had a fabulous selection of craft beer-local and not local. The food was fabulous. I had the salmon with tempura vegetables. For dessert we had the mango, sticky rice, and coconut ice cream which may be my new favorite dessert. Looking forward to our next visit!

I wouldn't really call this a supper club to be honest but the place definitely carries a house music bar vibe and the back bar area and seating is very dimly lit, perfect for cozying up and enjoying a drink late night. The ladies' room was so dark, I mistook it for a storage area because I could only make out a white ladder in the corner that was being used as cute shelving. The place is seat yourself. Our waiter was not super friendly and didn't offer to give us napkins or anything when our wobbly table caused our drinks to splash all over the place. The cook served our chicken with a big smile and happy interaction and we really loved his personality. The bartender also stopped by to bus our table and he was very pleasant as well. We enjoyed the perfectly fried small plate cauliflower with the plum sauce and the fried cheese/garlic wonton bites with the sriracha mayo spicy dipping sauce. The fried chicken breast on the large plate was slightly overcooked with a maple gochuchang sauce that was very bland. We were so thankful that the large plate fried chicken came with a side salad to offer some respite from the heaviness of the fried dishes. It would have been great to have some side acidic or fresh vegetable options like Kimchi or something. Maybe we tried the wrong dishes and there are other not fried things that are delicious? The dirty martini cocktail was just so-so, not really much flavor at all, but the mojito was very good and refreshing. It's probably a good late-night place for a bite and drink.

The Good: -Consistently delicious food -Multiple cuisines to choose from -Generous portion sizes -Unbelievably low cost -Kind and gracious customer service -Very clean The Bad: -They close at 8pm The Beautiful: I mistakenly ordered a dish without noodles when I meant to order a noodle dish. They were kind enough to cook me up some noodles even though they were about to close. They were very gracious to me when they could have told me it was my fault and sent me away. They stayed a little later to help me get the meal I wanted. I would never have asked this of them, but they insisted. This is very typical of the customer service I've experienced there.
