My anxieties of stepping into a new place kicked in, but these were all quelled after stepping in as I was greeted by a lovely shop with good selection. The shop itself isn't large, but they carry a good variety of wine and liquor - including some rare ones. The aesthetics are warm with medium to dark wood tones and peaceful music playing. I was looking for gin, and after a quick skim I found it. Checkout was quick and efficient, and overall I had a good experience at Cho's - I'm not sure when I'll be back but it's good to know there is a quality liquor store in the area.

When I arrived home, I noticed that in the fancy box it comes in one of the bottles had a half broken seal and was leaking. Those were the only two bottles in stock and they refuse to initially exchange. They later agreed to exchange, however only with a same item that would not arrive in time for a Christmas gift. I tried to exchange for another item of equal or more value, expecting to pay the difference but they would not work with me. I had to go to another liquor store in order to buy the same bottle to give as a gift and out money now. They are really making me go out of my way to dispute the charge on my credit card at this point. Awful way of doing business, especially during the stressful holiday season. There are better locations you can shop at. ****After initiating a credit card dispute and placing this negative review, the business issued a prompt refund which was applied towards another bottle in stock.

Today I walk in and another hard to find spirit is there calling my name! This is how a business keeps their customer base happy. I was surprised to find they had my favorite bottle of sparkling moscato Bartenura on chill. While I was at it I grabbed a bottle of prosecco as well. The prices are only slightly higher than the wine distributor I usually go to. Each bottle came in at about $13 for the 750ml size. I usually pay about $11 at my preferred store. We were the only ones in the store so we got to checkout immediately. I was glad that they accept credit cards though they are still on an older system. The checkout clerk was nice and thanked us on the way out. It's a good place to know about if you are headed to the capital and want to pre-game a bit low budget style. It's very close and they also sell single serve bottles for quick consumption. This was actually the first time I've seen them in plastic squeeze packets lol Those are definitely much easier to sneak into places haha Not that I'd condone that sort of thing ;)

I was looking for a specific Belgian beer and they had it here...not cheap but it was available. We were there on a Thursday evening and they had trivia in the upper level in the middle of the store.
