I was told that the front brakes had plenty of life in them. Next day squealing was as loud as ever. Contacted MBGB and spoke with Vera. She was professional, caring and sympathetic. She had the service manager, Anthony, give me a call and he told me that he would have the technician take a look at the front brakes to see if they could figure out what was wrong. My service adviser, Bill Thompson, called me on Friday, knowing that the storm was coming and had my car picked up on Friday so it could be serviced. My car was delivered on Tuesday with no squealing noise. MB of GB has the most caring people on their staff. Vera, first point of contact, outstanding customer service. Anthony, professional and compassionate and made me feel like a very valued customer. Last but not least, Bill Thompson, a very knowledgeable and kind individual who went out of his way to make sure my car was taken care of. This is a dealership that constantly earns high marks for service, and my experience exemplifies this. Dropped the car off in the morning, asked them to do a diagnostic to identify a check-engine-light…read moreproblem. Informed them that I intended to use the car to travel to Washington in the afternoon, and would need to take the car somewhere else if they were not able to work on it immediately. They agreed and said that they would get right to work, and that they would call if the problem were serious so that I could make alternate travel arrangements. Then, they proceeded to hold the car for the ENTIRE DAY without doing any work or calling. After calling several them several times to no answer (late in the afternoon, far too late to purchase a plane or train ticket), went back down to the station in person to find that they had done NOTHING. NO WORK WHATSOEVER. They had, however, hooked up the diagnostic machine (when, I don't know), and informed me that I had a serious transmission issue. Of course, they didn't bother to call to inform me of this, as they had promised, and they never intended to get my consent before beginning work. So my travel plans are ruined, just so I wouldn't have the chance to take the car to a competitor. Oh, and to top it off, they OVERCHARGED for the pittance of work they did do (the diagnosis) BY 600 PERCENT! $90 for a $15 procedure. Avoid this place like the plague or you may get scammed.

Crappy experience with this tire shop. Needed back tires on my car so I called on Tuesday asking if…read moreI could bring it in on Thursday. $310 a tire, little higher than I'm used to but this shop is local to me so I wanted to use them and support the local businesses. The guy said no problem bring it in the morning, pick it up at 5. Whole day for 2 tires? But I was working half a day so I asked him if I could bring it in at 12, he said that's fine. He said he'd work with me, hence the extra star. Dropped the car off at 12:30, cops did a fake tag enforcement on the Whitestone so I was late because of the traffic. Guy said it's fine, leave the keys and return at 5PM to pick it up. About 4:20 I receive a call from Ryan telling me they couldn't manage to get to my car. That it wouldn't be ready. I told him that was f****** awful service. He replied well I could say you dropped it off at 12:30 and it's also hot outside, we booked 40 appointments...couldn't get to you. Then why not tell me that when I dropped the car off? Or before? Then he asked should I return the tires, you don't want them anymore correct? I didn't reply to that because it was a ridiculous question, what do I care? I cared about getting my rear tires done but they don't seem to care about that, I'm supposed to care what they do with the tires now? Really? Bit of a joke that convo was but I didn't find it funny, Especially now that I have to take a roadtrip for the holiday without the peace of mind I was excepting to have. Not the end of the world I guess but this was my experience at Yorktown Tire Auto Care.

They did NOT do as they were told and said it was not reading and had to program it? Funny because it's on the cars display as rearing 0 PSI because it was in the cup holder. This proves it was talking to the car. Regardless, they uncharged me and rather than argue with them I payed the bill and will NEVER come back. Beware of the deceptive business practices at this shop.
