We decided to spend Saturday taking a golf lesson and were fortunate enough to find Michael Burgard at Queen Creek. I was thrilled with the lesson. In two hours, I learned tips that transformed my swing. I was really struggling with consistency and finding the feel, yet at the same time, I knew it wasn't rocket science and that I was just plain old missing the basics. I'm sad that Michael doesn't teach in our area, but grateful that we found him. My husband received great instruction, too. Guess I'll never catch up to him!

According to the Ranger, the course had some bachelor parties, which doesn't excuse the course for allowing them to slow pace a play for everyone else on the course and ruin the experience. I don't think financially it makes sense to cater to a bachelor party when you'll lose all the other golfers who will not come back to this course to play. The course was in fine condition, but that doesn't really matter when the pace of play is absurdly slow and the slow groups aren't required to move forward a hole. I won't ever be coming back to this course to play.

I wasn't sure what to expect? I have heard a lot of bad things about this place. First, they are currently in a temporary club house, until they build a new one. The course itself is in decent shape, you can tell they are working on it. The employees were very nice, and are trying to give us a good experience. I did point out a problem to them. There are no marshal's on the course. There was a foursome who played like there was none else on the course. It really made the round longer then it should. I was surprisingly surprised how well and fast the greens were. The fairways are OK, you will find some bare areas. The current price is very reasonable at this time of year. Overall it was a good time, just stay on top of the groups that are holding everyone else back.
