Great selection and price, cheaper than other options imo and has way more to choose from

At a resort you kind of want to have little moments where you just feel like you are royalty and I just didn't find many of those Don't get me wrong there is beach access and swimming pool and hot tub and good food. But rates really as just standard totally acceptable resort

Dining options are well distributed among the buildings so no matter which building you stay in, there are dining options close by. You may have to walk to another building if you want a specific cuisine but it's not too far to walk. The staff are very helpful and nice. The grounds are beautiful. I enjoyed simply walking around the resort at night. I had a third floor room overlooking the pool. The balcony sliding glass doors are double paned and I was impressed with how much noise it was able to reduce from the pool. It wasn't completely silent but it was quiet enough for an afternoon nap with a busy pool! My stay here was during the winter which is their off-season. It was nearly empty and very quiet. There were no lines at any of the shops and restaurants. A dream for introverts. Access to your room and other parts of the resort come in the form of a wristband. This was great as I never had to worry about carrying a keycard. == What I hated == Let's just be real. The restaurants are not great. You'll probably spend $50 for a breakfast burrito and a breakfast bowl at the Hudson cafe and it's cafeteria-tier at best. Coastal provisions, one of their "signature" dining options is a bit better, but still disappointing. The Prime NY Strip was not seasoned well and tasted quite bland. The slow braised short-rib was good though and nearly half the price of the steak so I'd definitely go with that instead. Side note - during the off-season, in-room dining is only available at breakfast. Calling yourself a resort with no in-room dining at lunch or dinner is hilarious.
