The course is in desperate need of water! I had to put my wife's tees in the ground because the soil is so hard. Not a tree on the place and feels like golf in a farmers field on the front nine. The parking and bag drop is the worst design ever. You can't drive your cart to your car so you're stuck tipping some kid to drag a dirty rag over your clubs and shlep them 40 feet to the drop while you traverse the side of the mountain down to your car then have to drive back up the hill to collect your bags. Minimal clubhouse service and port o pots on course. No club cleaners on the carts. All in all I won't be back anytime soon until they fix these issues. Honestly it's only worth about $70 a round not $120.

To be fair, I prefer courses like this with wide open fairways and lots of elevation changes. The course has only been open a year, so the clubhouse is still a work in progress and will take some time to be finished. When I played, the course was in very good shape compared to many of the other courses around the area, which were extremely dry. Maybe it's just having a new course in the area, but this is already one of my favorite courses for Northern Colorado and I'll definitely be back.

Today I hit a ball 245 toward a group 300 away from me, they turned around screaming that I hit into them..? When we go to the next tee box two of them rushed me and repeatedly threatened me. THEN one swung his club at my head. This entire time the ranger was on the tee box next to us. He confirmed he saw him swing a club at my head. He asked me if I wanted to call the cops or "do you want to play golf" ? So basically saying stop complaining or I'm kicking you out. I told him I do want to call the cops and he refused, let them continue to play the round out(!?!) And made me sit out a hole??? Genuinely dumbstruck by the way this was handled. The fat old dude who was ranger shouldn't be a ranger he needs to be fired immediately. He was useless and was allowing insanely slow pace beside shaming me for being concerned about the dude who just attempted to assault me w a deadly weapon. Piss poor. The dude I talked to in the club house was fantastic about it. The real issue is the lazy useless ranger, the pace and the attempted murder on the tee box that I somehow got shamed for. keeping in mind that I DID NOT hit into them which can easily be corroborated by my round mates. I will not play here again. I started playing here 10 days ago and this is my 4th round, love the course and the guys working in the club house, even the practice area is great but if we're just letting felonies fly I'll go to one of the other thousand courses near the is one. Classes are cheap ($10 for a drop in class or $35 for a 4-part series) and they start frequently (a new session every month) so I took my chance and jumped in on the next beginner-level class that came up. This was Lindy Hop 1, which meets on Monday nights. Tonight was my first lesson, and I cannot wait to go back next week. I have never danced a real dance before in my life, but John and Shana did a great job explaining everything clearly enough that it always felt natural to move on to the next step. The atmosphere was really relaxed and everyone seemed to have a genuinely good time. It is certainly okay to attend these classes on your own. My friend and I went without partners and a couple of guys stuck around from an earlier class to even things out. Not a big deal at all. I was concerned about not having the comfort of a familiar partner, but that soon was relieved as the class is structured so that every follow dances with every lead at least once. And since it's a "rotate clockwise" arrangement, there's no need to worry that nobody will choose you to dance. You just get the next person in the circle, and then the next. This setup not only eases the awkwardness of choosing a partner, it gives you the opportunity to dance with several people, and all of them will have a slightly different style. You don't learn to dance with your date, you learn to dance with anybody. The studio was a bit hot and everyone got really sweaty but, since everybody was sweaty, it was okay. I highly recommend wearing something comfortable that will allow you to breathe. After just the first session in this series, I feel like I progressed from hopeless to kind of okay at this particular dance, which is way more than I had anticipated. Trying new things is awesome!

Wonderful pickleball center for singles or doubles. They actually have a singles specific court…read morewhich I've never seen before (I'm new to the game). Fun! The staff are welcoming and the coaches are kind and fun to engage with. Not to mention it's Boulder's only independent indoor pickleball center. I recently came in for an event benefitting Meals On Wheels. The event was organized well and the number of courts allowed us beginners to enjoy ourselves playing up with more advanced players, while the masters of the court competed on the other end of the space. Parking was plentiful and there were multiple indoor restrooms. Prices are also better per hour than like centers closer to Denver. I will definitely be back. Highly recommend!
