Manhattan Beach comes to Natick! Heated sand and fun tunes on a cold New England day, it doesn't get any better than that.

The only caveat is pricing -- it's definitely on the higher end. Now, let's talk about the food - wow, we were blown away. Everything we ordered was incredibly flavorful, beautifully plated, and far exceeded our expectations. You'd never guess a restaurant inside a pickleball club could serve up dishes with this level of quality. Everything tasted fresh and thoughtfully prepared -- no shortcuts, no "sport-club food" vibe here. The drinks and desserts also deserve a special shoutout -- they've crafted some really fun, one-of-a-kind items that tie into the pickleball theme in playful and creative ways. As for service, the staff was incredibly warm, attentive, and well-trained. We will be back!

The app wasn't too hard to use, although it seemed like it was iOS only when we tried so we had to use one person's phone specifically. Price is a bit high, but the facilities are nice. We ended up booking another court when our time expired since we were having such a good time. They could definitely enhance the experience by adding dividers between the courts to prevent balls from rolling over so often, but other than that, we had a nice time. If we're ever in the area again, we'd definitely come back!

I asked very nicely if they could take it in the hall or common area, it's posted as a rule not to talk on the floor. He looked at me like he wanted to kill me and kept talking. Spencer, a trainer, was about 10 feet away. I asked him if he could please tell him to not take a call here. He said he couldn't. He could do it later. I said I don't understand, it would take 3 seconds to ask, you just talked to me longer than that, just ask him please. He said he couldn't, in a way that seemed like teasing, like he was tying to make me feel petty for asking. I went downstairs and complained to the person at the desk. When I went back upstairs Spencer came right up to me and said he asked him and he hung up the phone. It was obvious now he had been teasing me, because he came right up to me to try to patch it over. No one likes to be ridiculed. This is the first time something like this happened. There is a man there who stares at people. A few weeks ago he walked up to me and yelled in my face when I asked him not to stare at me. I told him to please move away from me, he didn't. I mentioned it to the spikey haired guy at the desk who said "Oh ya, he's does that a lot, I know exactly who you're talking about." Nothing has been done, and this guy continues to roam around there looking to pick a fight. They need to take care of members. Something is wrong here. I'm leaving. It's their job to enforce rules, members shouldn't have to beg them.

I was told that they had no staff available to give me a tour, however there were 2 staff at the desk. Additionally the staff at the front desk were very condescending, disrespectful and uncooperative. When we entered she seemed very annoyed. Overall I felt as though this experience was underwhelming and I was left dissatisfied.

I've been a member of Beacon Hill Athletic Club (Wellesley) for three years, and the only reason I…read morecontinue to go is because it's convenient and there aren't many easy alternatives nearby. The biggest issue is that the equipment is badly outdated. Walking into the gym feels like stepping into the 1980s. The machines are old, the overall facility feels tired, and it is long overdue for a serious investment and refresh. The locker rooms are in a similar state, very dated and in clear need of renovation. To be fair, the club is clean. Extremely clean. In fact, the staff often seem more concerned with cleaning equipment than allowing members to use it. The constant wiping down and fussing over machines can feel excessive and, at times, genuinely strange. The atmosphere is also disappointing. Peter appears to have a group of favorite members and regularly has loud, bro-style conversations with them across the gym. These conversations often include inappropriate language that feels unprofessional in a fitness club setting. Another staff member, a younger guy, is consistently rude and seems to think the gym's sound system exists solely for his benefit. When he's working, members are subjected to some truly awful reggae playlists. Peter's music choices aren't much better, with a steady diet of jazz and 70s music that feels completely disconnected from what most people would expect in a modern gym. The overall impression is that the gym is run around the preferences of the staff rather than the members. Whether it's the music, the conversations, or the way the floor is managed, there seems to be very little thought given to creating an environment that is motivating and enjoyable for the people actually paying to work out there. The one saving grace is the woman who works at the front desk. She is consistently friendly, welcoming, professional, and genuinely customer-focused. She treats members with respect and clearly understands what good customer service looks like. Ironically, she also seems to have the best taste in music. Unfortunately, it's uncomfortable to watch how some of the other staff, particularly Peter, treat her. She deserves far better than the dismissive attitude she often appears to receive. For a club that charges premium membership fees, the facilities, atmosphere, and management approach simply don't measure up.

They don't try to find dates, show off the latest fitness gear, or take selfies. If you love 70's music, which I do, the vibe is perfect. If not, bring your own music because that is all they play.

I just had my one years olds party here which consisted of all adults. When I arrived a young girl helped us plate snack and our cupcakes which was great. I was told how the party will be run and someone would check on us to see how it was going. No one checked on us, I had to ask if we could start cake. There were 3 of them at the desk on FaceTime with someone while their boss(assuming she was) was just lounging in a chair in the sitting area. I was told that they would start cleaning and packing our items up for us 15minutes before the party ended. They never came so I started to clean up. Eventually they came in and told us pretty rudely that this party room is closed and you need to leave, you can hangout in the sitting area but not here. Upon leaving we asked if we could take the small balloon towers from OUR party and they told us no they are being used for another party.... I'm sorry another party??? These were made for our party but still a no. That seems pretty ridiculous to me. For the price I paid for the party ($475) I should have been able to take those things with me! I honestly could have left without paying since I stood at the counter for 5 minutes while a girl sat at the desk looking confused. I had to ask for the decorations I brought back otherwise they were going to save them for another party.... I'm sorry but I brought those with me and I'm taking them back.. Overall my child loved playing with the other children which was the main reason we booked here but I would not have another party here unless they make a better system.
