I think it goes without saying the smell in this place is only comparable to soggy bellybutton lint left in a gym sock. The mini golf course took all of five minutes, so I really got my money's worth there. The bumper carts were thrilling if you consider slowly moving in circles exciting. The sports simulators didn't work, half the games were broken, and somehow the biggest challenge was finding something that actually worked. We came here and went bowling. We enjoyed apps while we bowled and lunch after. Service was great I liked my impossible burger. I've never had one smashed so think, but it was very big and spilled over the side of the bun. This place has a little bit of everything and great fried food. We only visited the arcade during our trip to Apex Entertainment. It was a busy Saturday night, and the place was so packed that we didn't end up trying anything else. The arcade itself was pretty underwhelming. The game selection felt limited compared to other arcades in the area, almost like it isn't a major focus of the venue since the plaza offers so many other activities such at go karts, bowling and laser tag. The staff members we interacted with were all friendly, which was a definite plus. Overall, I don't think I'd go out of my way to return as there are other venues at more convenient locations to me that offer similar services. read more

The go-karting here is so much fun but I'm not as impressed about this place is other people are. Everything is card only but their card only machine doesn't even work. So make sure you don't bring cash cuz that is not a currency at this location. The go-karting staff was so cool so easy to work with and we're very kind. read more

Go-karts are lots of fun (when aren't they?) and go fast. Track has lots up turns and three levels. I'd say it's priced like any other go-kart place. They track your speed every lap so it's fun competition. read more

I was really excited to check out Apex Entertainment in Marlborough, MA - the place advertises itself as this massive fun zone with indoor go-kart racing as one of the big draws. We drove out specifically because the go-karts looked thrilling on their website, and we were pumped to race on that multi-level track. Biggest disappointment ever. They flat-out refused to let us do the go-karts. No clear explanation upfront, just vague rules or excuses at the last minute that killed the whole vibe. We waited in line, paid for our passes/tickets expecting to hit the track, and then got turned away without any real apology or alternative. It felt like a total bait-and-switch - they hype the go-karts heavily, but when it came time to actually experience them, doors slammed shut. The rest of the place might be okay for some (arcade, bowling, etc.), but if you're going for the go-karts like we were, don't waste your time or gas money. Staff seemed indifferent to our frustration, and the whole experience left us feeling ripped off and incredibly disappointed. Zero stars if I could. Save your evening for somewhere that actually delivers on what they promise. Avoid if go-karts are your main reason for going - you'll probably end up just as frustrated as we were. read more

A huge center with a variety of options for everyone. We came as a group of 15 on a Sunday afternoon around 2pm. It was busy but we were able to make a reservation for bowling and go karts without an issue. The lines for both ended up getting pretty long as the day progressed so I'd recommend going earlier rather than later. We made a reservation ahead of time for laser tag, which was fun. One member of our party had malfunctioned gear though, so he had to deal with that in the middle of the game. For bowling, we got three lanes, but my lane's scoring system was completely messed up. The workers spent about half an hour trying to fix it but when they weren't able to get it fixed, they moved us to a different lane, which meant we were separated from the rest of our party. They were nice about it though, and made sure to give us the entire hour that we paid for. Overall, a fun experience minus the technical difficulties. read more

Our son in law and daughter brought us here during our visit from the West Coast. This place is amazing! So many options-- bumper cars, go cart racing, rope sky walking, laser tag, bowling (both little ball and big ball) along with the arcade... maybe even more that I didn't see! Plus food and drinks! The kids had a great time riding the bumper cars, playing laser tag, then all of the arcade games ending in being able to pick a few prizes to take home. Even this grandma and grandpa had fun-- I had my first experience with go carts-- SOO much fun! It was Friday night and super busy, kind of chaotic, but overall a really good time! read more

READ IF YOU HAVE ALLERGIES-- unbelievably bad... I went here for a bowling double-date and the food service was atrocious. I ordered a pizza and specifically told the waitress that I had allergies to eggs and nuts and she said she would put that into the order (great!). Then, another employee came back over with her to confirm the allergies and asked "you're allergic to gluten, right?" No I am not. I made it very clear for a second time that my allergies were eggs and nuts, NOT gluten. When the pizza finally comes she tells us that "it's a little smaller because of the allergies" (what???) and it didn't look quite right. I ask "just to double check, the pizza is NOT gluten free, right?" and she responds "Yes it is because of the allergy." Oh my god... The problem with that is gluten-free pizzas often use EGGS as a binder to replace the gluten, so I may have been served something that specifically CONTAINED what I'm allergic to. I told her AGAIN I'm not gluten free and my allergies are eggs and nuts and explained to her that gluten free items often CONTAIN eggs. She replied, with attitude, "so... do you want me to take it back??" YES!! THAT COULD KILL ME! She comes back some time later to drop off the check for the family in the adjacent lane and the other couple we are with orders a pepperoni pizza. Our waitress says "let me get this straight... i just put in a cheese pizza and now you want a pepperoni pizza??" Yes... the pepperoni pizza is for them... Of course, the waitress comes back and gives them a half pepperoni half cheese pizza. NOT what they ordered... Then I get my pizza which (as the receipt says) she put in as NO ALLERGY even though I had at this point repeated THREE TIMES I was allergic to eggs and nuts. Because of her the kitchen had no idea about my allergies so NOTHING was done to prevent cross-contact and the kitchen wouldn't know to warn anyone about any allergy risks. Even after all that trouble, the pizza was awful. The crust smelled like burnt plastic so it was barely edible. I willpowered my way through 2 slices before giving up on it. The nachos were also disappointing. Despite the menu advertising them as "piled high" with cheddar jack cheese and other toppings it had the thinnest layer of cheese known to man, a 2-inch diameter circle of jalapenos and onions in the middle and salsa on top. The cheese was burnt throughout and basically glued the chips together. I also need to mention the fact that our waitress likes to use tricks to bump up your bill. The person in the lane next to us ordered a Truly (priced at $5) but the waitress put her drink in as "Beer" then PUT "Truly" IN THE NOTES so it was rung up as $9 instead of $5. Of course, she gave attitude when the person asked about it. Also, she gave us a half-pepperoni half-cheese (which is not what we ordered) but charged us for the full cost of the pepperoni. A pepperoni pizza is ON THE MENU as an item at $18 but she rung it up as a cheese pizza (base $16) with pepperoni on the second half for the full $2 extra. We were charged full price for half the pepperoni. At the end of the day I didn't once receive confirmation that there was no egg in what we were served. I just had to inspect it, take a test bite, and figure it out myself. This was undoubtably one of the worst service experiences of my life, especially regarding the allergies, which need to be taken much more seriously. Outright baffling negligence from the waitress that can make someone really sick or kill them. If I wasn't so vigilant I could have had a life-threatening reaction and the waitress could not have cared less. I will not be coming back and anyone with allergies needs to look elsewhere. Edit: I checked the menu again and it SAYS the normal pizza is gluten-free... then what did she give me at first????? It was a different product (and smaller) that she said was the gluten-free pizza... When she took it back I received something different the second time. Is the GF label on the menu saying that there is a gluten-free option? Then why is it labeled as if the base item is gluten-free?? Regardless of the answer why is none of this explained to the customer in the first place if she thought I had a gluten allergy THREE TIMES?? This place is a mess... read more

I am going w company party. I tried the arcade it was alot of options which is awesome. They also served us foods mash potato, chicken stuffing, steak tips, scallop bacon, etc they are standart. The steak tips taste good but overcook. I think it's because its in the hot pan. I tried race car, it was good and the staff was very helping. I went to a kid's birthday party recently, and I am not sure I have seen such an incompetant staff person. The kids were using the simulators, and the guy did not know how to use the computers to set everything up. Do you not train your staff? he gave no overview of the options, what to do or safety instructions. He clearly had no idea how to handle kids. He was also on his phone for a bit. We enjoy Apex Entertainment, though sometimes an arcade game is out of order or not properly working but it's only 1 or 2 in the whole place. We love the opportunity to be active, have fun indoors when the weather is not pleasant. Honestly, meh. Arcade is fun. Food is poor. Service is poorer. Everything is overpriced and you absolutely do not get what you pay for. Quality is subpar. Quantity subpar. Order the chicken strips appetizer and you'll see what I mean. $16 for 4 tenders is insane. Cheese pizza for $18 is a joke. It's basically DiGiorno. Be prepared to wait over 30 mins for food. Don't expect plates, condiments, or silverware. Have been there several times and don't recommend it. DO NOT GO-KART HERE. You only get 7 minutes and they SLOW DOWN YOUR CARTS every time there is a "problem" (anytime a kart gets stuck, etc...) this happened 7 times in 7 minutes. we only got up to full speed once or twice very briefly. we spent $60 for the two of us, for 7 minutes and the majority of the time the karts were moving at 5mph. a huge waste of money. I would love a refund. and they know this. which is why they have a huge sign that says NO REFUNDS. it should be called 'NO REFUND ENTERTAINMENT' . read more

My job had an event here on Thursday and invited their team of employees to come out and enjoy. I was in awe pulling up to this place and seeing how big it was. They had so many different games/events inside. They had miniature golf, Go Karts, an arcade, laser tags, bumper cars, rope climbing and so many other things. We were there for bowling and the bowling alley presence didn't disappoint. It had a colorful ambiance that was absolutely stunning. My employer had a wonderful spread of food consisting of chicken quesadillas along with the works, fried chicken sliders, and veggie platters. The bar was open for us to order any drinks we wanted. I found the bartenders and staff to be kind and professional. I ordered a Beyond burger with onion rings and I must say it was beyond amazing -from the burger to the onion rings...I know....corny but you get the idea. After bowling, the team and I went to the arcade where we enjoyed skee ball and a host of other arcade games and activities. Lastly, we put on helmets and went on the go-karts where we High-sped around the race course trying not to hit each other. After that, the team decided they would do some axe-throwing but I was way too tired. My cousin and I left out with full tummies and an array of fond memories we'll carry with us for many years to come. Highly recommend. read more

I threw a birthday party for my kid four years ago for his 7th birthday, came here for ladies' night with friends and threw axes, and took a break from a weekend conference to have a meal and play mini golf. This place is contained, meaning it would be safe and even okay to let your tweens run around to do their own thing if you decide to stay put in one place for a bit. There are tons of restaurants, a nail place and other random shops/hotels in this plaza, as well as a large parking garage... you can't go wrong comí. Hete as long as you plan ahead. read more

Cool place to visit. I would say that this would be awesome as a kid but as someone in my mid twenties, it was a bit underwhelming. There's a lot of different things to do but each thing is smaller than normal. We went on the go karts and stopped by the arcade and mini golf course. Go kart racing was fun and def gave us a kick of adrenaline. We put too much money in the arcade card ($20) but was glad to find out that we can use the deposited amount to go to the mini golf course. I would recommend passing on the mini golf since it was pretty much the same in each round. read more

Can't say that I had a bad time here at all. First I would like to say that you should 100% get the hour card pass. I believe it's 25 bucks and you'll be able to play any games for an hour. Much bette then adding money to a card. The virtual game was ok. The game seemed super out dated and golfing on it was hard as the sensor wasn't the best. Bowling was great!! I went to apex on 11/29 last year and all the tickets on my 8 year old son's card that he had saved for a long time disappeared. I called them twice and left messages about this matter and no one ever called back. I sent an email and no one responded. I even went in person twice and each time they said they were still investigating and would get back to me. But now almost 3 months have passed and no one has contacted me. Purchased a gift card with their online special. Buy $100 get $100, one would think you would get a $200 gift card right? No, the one they mailed me only said $100. So we have been calling and sent an email back on December 22, still unable to reach anyone tor get a response just to get an answer. Terrible customer service, it's not that hard to respond heck the special is still running on your website. Don't advertise something if you don't honor it, it's fraud. It is a gift and they better refund me if this is not loaded with $200. Not a happy customer at all. 1/3/23 still no response from APEX 1/3/23 an hour after my update they responded to my wife on Facebook from her Dec 31st msg, better late than never. We are not from the area and had never been to Apex before until today. I went in with my Wife and two adult children ready to drop some money for a few laughs. It was Saturday so we knew it would be busy and it took sometime to find a place to park. We first went up stairs spent $49 plus tip and did some axe throwing. The staff were very friendly and helpful. They are also the only reason you're getting a 2 instead of a 1. Up to this point we we're having a good time until we decided to go mini golfing. We waited for ten minutes to use the pay kiosk located inside the mini-glow golf location. I was about to buy a purchase card to spend another $300 on mini-golf and other games, when a birthday party with about 30 children and adults were aloud to cut in front of us. At that point I cancelled the purchase and left the area since there was no where to stand. Frustrated we went back down stairs and left. You folks need to stop your tv and online advertising that this a place for adults. All APEX is a gigantic version of Chuck E. Cheese with go-carts (and weirdly a Planet Fitness location). My 7 year old nephew could design something 10000000x better. It was absolutely shameful. And worse it was SIXTY dollars for 5 people to be tortured by this boring foolish nonsense. Went with a party of 8 people this evening, many of us have been before, we loved Apex and we were excited to return! 1. We paid for 2 hours of bowling yesterday around lunchtime. It was supposed to start tonight at 9:00. Apex was running late, but we didn't mind! But we did mind when our time left dropped from 31 minutes to 9 minutes and no one mentioned it to us, which totally felt like they tried to snag our money. 2. Our short friends had a terrible time getting the bartenders to serve them. 3. We didn't even know we had our bill- the lane bartender just dropped it at the table and didn't mention it. 4. The gentleman cleaning up the balls walked in front of customers bowling several times- he could have easily been hit by a ball!
