I have been a member for about 4 years and I always have a great time. Last time I went I placed my freshly opened drink down,to grab my golf bag and enter the room I booked. Russell accidentally threw it away,I told him it was fine and not to worry about it and he insisted that he replace it, he came back with not 1 but 2 drinks. Before I start the review, let me say that I don't love golf. It's not that I don't like it, it's just...boring. I started golf lesson at age 6 and was on the golf team in high school and yet, I'm no good. My husband, on the other hand, is a fanatic so there are things (like laundry) that wives must do to keep their husbands happy, so I golf...on occasion. ..when alcohol is offered as an incentive. My husband and I went to the Golf Cave on a Saturday at 7 for date night. He booked the time several days in advance and I know all the bays were booked when we were there so beware. Saturday evenings also are a higher fee so we paid about $60 an hour for two hours of gold time. That was enough to use the virtual driving range and play a round of golf. The facility was large and enviting. The sales girl at the desk was very helpful and got us all set up. She walked us through everything, showed up options, and even gave us little tips about using the computer and preventing glitches. Basically, the room had a huge screen at one end, and nice marble topped console at one end- with mini fridge and flat screen TV over head- a wall eith club holders, and a row of four leather recliners on the back wall. We set up a snack area in the bar and got to work. Basically, I had a blast! My only negative comment was (besides being a little pricey) that with only two players, I barely had any down time in between shots. With four people it would have been a more relaxed tempo, so I guess it depends on what you want. On last thing, I personally feel that if I wanted to work at improving my golf, this might be the best venue to do so. I felt I had better feed back than on a course or a driving range. Other than the putting, which is a little wonky, I could see exactly where my ball hit the wall. Every shot gives you distance, speed, and other mathematical feed back which was interesting, but being able to see where my ball was 8 - 10 feet from my club fave was immensely interesting and informative. read more

Was there this past weekend, and all I can say is WOW!!! It's like going to the country club for those of us that can't really afford the country club. They allow you to bring your own beer, play 18 holes on a course that would cost you $500-$700 in "real life" and virtually play golf with your buddies all while in a very classy private room with your favorite ballgame and/or golf on their flat screen TV - can't wait to go back. They will convince you to join. Beware you will not get a tee time on the weekend. They will continue to charge your credit card each month even though you can't get a tee time. Then they will tell you look at your contract. You have a 30 day cancelation clause and they will charge you another 100.00 that you will lose. It is a same as they won't work with you. The next best thing to hitting the course. The facility is amazing and they updated to make it even better(which I find it hard to believe they were able to). From the moment you walking in the door, you get the feeling it will be a good time. Doesn't matter if you are going by yourself to tune up or hanging with your golfing buddies (or non-golfer buddies) it's a great place to go. Also have used it to get my kids swinging the club and learning the game without worrying about someone hitting up. read more

I am not a good golfer. I have played courses where I've lost more balls than there are holes. Hitting off the tee? I've got a slice so strong I could cut diamonds with it. I love playing on outdoor courses, but I am the type of person who not only feels incredibly bad for any parties behind me, but an immense amount of pressure for that reason. Par 5 dog-leg? Excuse me while I hit a 5-iron 10 yards for the next hour or so. It is for those reasons, among others, that I love the golf cave. It erases pretty much all the things that stress me out about golf and emphasizes the things I love. Let me be up front about something: it is not the same as outdoor golf. Putting takes some getting used to (though if you've ever played video game golf, you'll be very familiar with it out of the gate), and hitting off an artificial surface will never be the same as grass. However, in some ways, I find it much more enjoyable. There is no waiting, no pressure, no time spent shagging balls from some grotto it ended up in after I bounced it off some poor dude on another hole's golf-cart. If I hit a 250 yard drive that goes 50 yards straight and 200 to the right, well, I can just flip over to the swing diagnostics and look at -- in real time -- how I swung so far across the ball that I probably put enough spin on it to turn the Earth backwards a day. The rooms are spacious, always the right temperature, and have awesome amenities (beer fridge and super comfy chairs? Yes, please). I like working on my swing mechanics without having to shout "FORE" every five seconds. I like that I can play all manner of courses -- St. Andrews, Pebble Beach, you name it -- with a few screen touches. I like the privacy, the relaxation, the simple distillation of the game of golf into arguably its purest form. If you are in any way interested in golf -- aspiring player or seasoned pro -- I cannot recommend the Golf Cave enough. You may find that its not your cup of tea, but the experience is absolutely worth trying. read more

Booked a tee time the other day with some friends and had a blast. We played 18 holes and it was like I was playing outside. Came back the next day because they said there was an analytical side too. I am looking to improve this winter and take golf seriously and the analytics were incredible. Book a tee time to try it out and sign up for the membership because the place is unreal. read more

Friends took me here for a get-together. Awesome place. Everything a group of guys could want in a "mancave." Recliners, TVs, refrigerator, music hook up. Would go back anytime. Go on a Sunday during football season, bring some 6 packs and food. read more

Pretty awesome for some fun. Putting is a bit iffy but great time out with the guys. Would come back. But not necessarily for serious golf.

I am not that easily blown away but I was here. Interior was meticulously maintained. Monitors were high quality. Staff Russell and Sal were knowledgeable and super friendly. All stats and videos were emailed to me. I wish I lived closer. read more

I was hesitant to try an indoor golf simulator but I'm glad I put my stubbornness aside. The staff was friendly and attentive the second I walked in the door. They were very knowledgeable and helped me get set up and familiar with the computer.I enjoyed my private room and can't wait to head back with a group. read more
