I'd like to start this off with this: i'm a top 10 customer at this range, visiting 2-3 times a…read moreday, every day, all summer long. I've been coming to this range every night between 9-10pm for the last month with no issue for my night practice. (They usually turn the lights off between 9:55-10:00 so I always make sure I'm done by then). Today, I showed up at 9:25 to hit a few balls before closing. The older gentleman informed me that tonight (8/10/24), which just so happens to be a Saturday night, the driving range closed at 9pm, and ball machines were off already. He was really rude about it acting like they do this every night when that is not the case. Thankfully a kind gentleman overheard the conversation and was wrapping up and donated me the rest of his balls so I was still able to hit. I also saw the man turn down multiple other customers coming in. However, the older gentleman still proceeded to hover over me the entire time, walking up and down the aisle and stalking my every move as well as the other 2 people there. This was definitely a very uncomfortable experience. I will no longer be attending this driving range at night, and I suggest you avoid it too.

The accessibility from the parking lots in Jersey City wasn't great (shuttles) but at least the buses were A/C'd last year (2014 from the regular lots in Paramus they weren't necessarily with A/C on). The facilities have a little bit of a crowded feel to them (there were a lot of people here) and the one big downside, always someone walking around telling people not to take pictures, despite taking pictures of NY being one of the big draws. The course itself had plenty of water (we were right by the Hudson & bay), and it had rained earlier in the week - made for some low scores that people loved to see and cheer for (including the eventual winner Scott).

Was greeted soon after I walked in and was offered assistance...let them know I was just looking around for a putter. The sales rep mentioned the days they perform putter fittings. The one thing I do like, they offer the price of the fitting will be deducted from the price of a putter if you buy one after the fitting...which is a plus! This store was It appeared to be clean, fully stocked, and have a friendly staff. Spent an hour testing out several different brands and models of putters in the putter section, their green area isn't large but was able to test out several different putters. Another employee came over and asked if I needed any assistance, much better customer service compared to the previous GG store I visited.

I am fortunate to have had my father put a club in my hands when I was 7 yrs old and hit along with…read morehim as he played a course in Queens, NY. I learned about golf, the swing, having manners/being polite to fellow golfers (i.e. be quiet when someone is hitting, allow people to play through if you're playing slow, making friendships, etc....) and sportsmanship. He put the love of the game and confidence in me (along with loving the 69 Mets and fishing off the Jetty at the base of the Throgs Neck Bridge) to achieve anything. I felt like I was 7 yrs old again this morning during my lesson with Rick. Rick's passion for the game, his teaching knowledge and techniques, along with his ability to positively "listen" and communicate back to me; why you do, what you need to do , to correct and understand your swing. Ricks true passion and understanding of the golf swing, along with his initiative, communication skills (including his listening skills) and ability to have you understand the game and your swing is legendary. Took lessons on and off for the past 10 years . Then I met Rick and can finally hit it straight! What a great golf teacher and experience! Rick is patient and professional and has an insight into working on improving your golf game by recognizing your weaknesses and working on them. He really diagnoses your swing faults and helps you to improve them . He is truly a pleasure to work with and makes the process of learning and improving your golf game fun! So glad that I am working with him.
