I ordered golf gloves but never received them. After thirty days I disputed the charge with my credit card company since the shipment never arrived. Shortly after this I received a call from a guy who first tried to get me to cancel the disputed charge by offering me a 25 percent discount on future purchases. Anytime a person says one word and has one review, I believe they cannot be trusted. So I immediately forget about the previous YELP review. Bright and early this morning I called here and spoke to Joe- just to ask him to give me confidence in sending my business from HOU to him. After a in depth conversation about the disgruntled customer confronting him on FB, I realized the customer was upset with the wrong business. Because of this single instance, Joe, being the customer service savvy individual he is has vowed to never do business with this unspoken third party coupon company. Three cheers for JOE!! OK- Enough about everyone else's experiences.. Had a nice conversation with him this morning. He told me how many of the bag he had in stock. I created an account on his site which is unnecessary, however I suggest doing so for all future orders your information is saved and he will call to verify the order promptly before he pulls it from inventory. He also sets it out for same day delivery. He advised me to check my email for the confirmation and to log into the account to see that my shipment already had tracking information available - SAY WHAT?! I've had more than enough interactions both over the phone and in person with this store to tell you to stay away. However, I won't be talking about my personal experience. All you need to know can be shown objectively. Just look at the review thread on facebook with Andy Coggins. I don't care who is in the right and who is in the wrong in this problem with the living social, I just want to point out how Golfer's Edge customer service responded to the incident. They have 1)Called the customer a liar repeatedly 2)Claimed to be considering suing the customer 3)Made aggressive threats and 4)taunted him with strings of emojis. Here are some examples just to prove my point 1) "He Andy lied to his credit card company. He constantly. Lies." "Your lies. Continue and you don't respond where is the product you have for free." 2)"You have the product. And you have not paid for the product. Should we file a police report for theft. Some people don't get it" 4) The emoji's speak for themselves And this is to say nothing of the grammar, spelling, or the fact that they consistently call the customer the wrong name. You will have a hard time finding worse customer service anywhere. Still not convinced? Well maybe you have seen some of the other positive reviews. There is one positive review on Yelp and one on google reviews. The only problem is that these reviews are word for word identical by different reviewers. How could is be that Ali. K on Yelp and Sarah Meyer on google have exactly the same reviews? Still not convinced this is foul play? Sarah Meyer ends her review by saying "This is posted during XMAS in the Customerservice we provide here at Golfer's Edge! We give great service and prices!!!" Notice the use of we. These reviews are obviously not written by genuine customers but rather by the business itself. So not only has Golfer's Edge harassed a customer who gave a negative review, but they also have planted fake reviews on the internet to try and trick you. Golfer's Edge is lying to you, plain and simple. They want you to believe they are a reputable business when they simply aren't. This business is a scam. I ordered golf grips which I received and paid for. Evidently they kept my credit card number and 6 months later charged my card for 150.00 for nothing. This site has the WORST customer service ever. I ordered some balls and 5 minutes later called the first "customer service" number to cancel the order. A rude man answered and said "lady, I don't even know who you are" - then I called the 2nd number and for 5 minutes and 13 seconds, listened to this loon let loose with and "F**K" laden tirade about the effing choices we have for president, how stupid the American people are and on and on. BUYER BEWARE is right. Like many of the other reviewers our experience was dreadful and we still haven't received the golf bag or our refund. Ordered a golf bag which golfersedgeonline claimed was 'in stock'. After purchasing, received an email two days later that a case was opened on my behalf as the bag was coming from the vendor and would take two weeks for delivery. I emailed customer service after two weeks and no bag arrived to get the status. No response. I then contacted the seller by phone who was rude, obnoxious, and clearly has no clue what customer service is. He gave me some story about the vendor being out of town and having no control over the situation, told me to call back at the end of the week and hung up on me. I proceeded to call the vendor (Cleveland Golf) directly only to find out that he never even placed the order. They had only two bags left in stock but couldn't sell directly to me or ship out based on my purchase through the vendor until he put the order in. Needless to say, I contacted the seller again, keep in mind it's almost a month since making the purchase at this point. He was less rude and aggressive at this point. Apologized but said he still has no status and if I want my money back he'd process a refund. I said I absolutely want my money back and I even told him that I contacted his vendor and he hadn't even put our order in. Told him process the refund and send me a confirmation. He then spent ten minutes telling me it could take 10-15 days for my refund depending on my bank and that he couldn't be held responsible. I told him so long as he processed on his end and sent me confirmation, I would deal with my bank if there was an issue. He continued to tell me that he couldn't be held responsible for the time the bank took to give me money back. I reiterated, "just process my refund immediately!" He then proceeded to say that he hoped this situation wouldn't deter us from doing business in the future with him. Are you freaking serious?!?! It's been 4 business days since that conversation and a follow up email and nothing. No response to the email from 'customer service' and no credit to my account. As a Chicagoan, I was happy to give this hometown mom and pop store some business, but it's bad service and dishonest business practices that make you think twice. Purchased the Adams Idea a120S iron set online as the availablity said they were "in stock ready to ship". After 2 week with no clubs I contacted the seller and got the run around of stock running out. Waited 3 weeks and finally got the irons. This is probably the worst company I have ever dealt with in my life! I ordered the golf buddy for my husband for Christmas from this golf shop. I received an email thanking me for my order and another email saying it had been shipped. I ordered it December 9th. They promise a 3-5 shipping date. I called the evening of the 16th to check on the status and got a verbal attack because I had called after hours. Let's put it this way, I am not sure how they have any business. I placed a order, yes it was a special order. The website stated normally shipped with in 24-48 hours, but could take longer. That was fine because I didn't need the item for a good 6 weeks being a gift for someone. I received a email stating that my order was placed and they billed my bank that day. After a week I received a email stating it was going to be back ordered till after I needed it. At this point I was confused because they had already charged me but they didn't have the product in hand. So since the order was going to be delayed till after I needed it, I contacted the phone number and left a message about the order. I made the call after there working ours so I did not expect a return call at 6pm. Well I did receive a call from a man who worked for the company. He was very rude and started yelling at me over the phone. He told me I was dumb and could not read and started calling me names I can not put on this site. Then he hung up on me. I called him back on the number he called me from and he continued to hang up on me. Finally I got him to talk to me. Then he stated he would not cancel my order. I asked to talk to his manager and he told me no and hung up on me again. At this point I email the company email asking to cancel the order. I thought all was ok and the order was canceled. Well it wasn't. They emailed me that the item was back ordered even longer. So I contacted my bank and made them aware of this issue and to be aware of what is going on. I then emailed them again stating I wanted my order canceled and that my bank was informed of this issue and the BBB was going to be notified and my lawyer was notified of the issue and to have paperwork drafter up if this didn't get resolved. Well to my surprise the same man that called me again. He started the conversation by yelling and telling me I was stupid and asking why I was so angry. I explained to him I wasn't and all I wanted was my money back and the order canceled. He continued to yell and try and degrade me. It was a good thing I had him on speaker for all of my co workers to listen to his rant. I also recorded it for my records. After two phone calls from him that morning I finally got a email stating my order was canceled. A little over a week later my bank contacted me and informed me that he put the money back on my card. Everyone be aware of this company. They do not treat there customers right and takes a act of God to get things done. Let me tell you the story of my experience with your company. I can assure you it is not pretty and I plan on sharing it with as many social media sites as I can find. I ordered my items on 3/10. I noted immediately after placing the order that I either could not or missed the option to make the shipping address different than the mailing address. I immediately called your company and left a message requesting a return call as I needed to change the delivery address. The gift was ordered for an employee that works for me and has been with us for 25 years, it was important to have the gift delivered to Missouri. I never heard back from anybody at your company and within 15 minutes of placing my order I sent my first inquiry. Again this was done on 3/10. I still didn't hear from anybody so I called back that evening and spoke with a "Joe." I explained the above and he told me to send an email to your company. I explained I had already done this but would do it again, which I did. I called back after resending the email and left a message. I received 4 emails with two different tracking numbers that indicated my items were being sent together but I had no idea which tracking number was correct so I left several other messages during the course of the next day...,all left unanswered. Because I never heard from your company to the numerous calls and emails I contacted UPS and paid an additional $20 to switch the order address. I provided the tracking number I was given that was for the golf bag. I then waited for it to be delivered, only to find out from UPS your company sent two different deliveries. The one I paid to have delivered to Missouri turned out to be the golf balls. I paid $20 to deliver $7.50 in golf balls. How would this make YOU FEEL!!! I called your company another time and spoke with George who made excuses that your bad employee caused this problem. He also told me he'd send golf club covers to try to make up for my poor experience and would speak with his supervisor to see what you could do to assist in resolving my issues. Here's the bottom line, employees of your company were unresponsive, inept, and unconcerned about providing me with assistance in resolving something as simple as updating s delivery address for my purchase. I was promised return calls from Joe and somebody else that I never received and your response to my numerous inquiries shows me you couldn't care less to takes steps to make a customer experience better. You lied and advised you would provide me with club covers, which I never received, as well as reimbursement for the shipping fee I paid again, and I've also never received. I'm still waiting for the golf balls I ordered and paid for that were returned to the company.
