I was doing research for a golf course not too far from where I work for a team outing. I stumbled…read moreacross this place, which was perfect for what we were looking for. I spoke with a couple of staff members here, who were very helpful and accommodating. It's unfortunate that it was drizzling the day we played, but we had lots of fun. We all got golf carts, but the 9 holes that we played were very walkable. It was like an executive quick course that was worked very well for our 6 to 7 teams that we had. They kept the kitchen open for us to order food after we played. The drinks at the bar were nice and strong, loved the kahlua and coffee! They had a good beer special, and the food was pretty good. The prices were very competitive to other courses. They even gave away a hat and another 9 holes of golf for a foursome!

We used a Groupon, but I think 9 holes was $14 and a cart was $14 additional -- for non-members. My main gripe is that they rule the course with an iron fist. Expect to have your cooler inspected at the beginning of each 9 holes. You are allowed a bottle of water on a hot day. All else must be purchased from the course. The kicker: Glass bottles. They serve beer in glass bottles to take out on the course. If you want to bring beer, bring an empty cooler with ice and a bottle of water, and put bottles in your golf bag. Swap them into the cooler on the course. Also, we were badgered a couple of times that we were holding up hole 1. We were playing hole 4 and there was nobody behind us on hole 3.

This course was great! I arrived at O'Hare and headed straight to the course for a 9am tee time -…read moretook me about 30 minutes or so to get there, should have been quicker but I took the wrong freeway leaving ORD. Anyways, I arrived at the course and only saw about 5 cars in the massive parking lot with one person working on their short game on the expansive practice green. As I was approaching the facility, there was a bartender just hanging around outside and she guided me to the clubhouse - she was very friendly which immediately gave me a good feeling towards the course. Checked in, I hit the range which was in great shape with grass tees- very well maintained. On the course - the tee boxes were in good condition - fairways as well. The greens rolled true and for the most part were in great condition - aside from people not repairing their ball marks (smh - take care of the course people!) The course is really wide open but easy to get into trouble if you are not in the fairway as the long thick rough and many trees will punish you. Tl;dr - Great course, would cost 50% more in WA - recommended to friends for our Chicago golf trip.

We went back to the clubhouse and told them we prefer to walk and they tell us ok but no refunds on the $22 cart fee! Instead they give you a voucher for $22 that can only be used for another round! I asked at least let us buy something like a dozen balls and get the $22 taken off the purchase - again they say no. I asked how do you sell me a service that you won't let me use and refuse a refund on top of it! Every other course I've ever played where you pay online does not take a cart fee until you check in, so this issue never can happen. I will never go back and will spread the word how this place is a rip off. Oh yeah I almost forgot - the tee boxes looked like they were bombed from above, the water coolers were empty on the front nine and no cart girl. This is what you get for $92.
