Don't waste your money. I don't expect all golf lessons to work but I expect some transparency. They didn't meet any of the goals they laid out for me on my 6 month plan and then acted like they never made any goals. Again golf lessons are a crap shoot but at my last lesson Spencer told me I wasn't athletic enough to play golf. Lol subsequently went to a real instructor and got real results. Spencer is a bad instructor but an even worse person. FYI they are going to teach you a stack and tilt swing but never tell you that. Negative stars would be more appropriate. read more

I signed up for a swing analysis and Phil (my PGA instructor) called me right away to get a feel for my game and understand my goals. I then went in for an analysis in their hi tech facility which puts you on the monitor and measures every aspect of your swing. In one lesson my instructor was immediately able to help pinpoint an issue and give me drills to work on. I signed up for a lesson package and for each lesson they send a minimum of 3 minutes of video of each lesson with instructor narrating so it's easy to go back home and review what you learned before working on the assigned drills. I'm looking forward to finally working on game improvement. read more

Pure money grab. Don't waste your time. Immediately car salesman feel. Can't afford the $1600 package well we have the half off package. Worked out to about $88 a lesson. Lessons were ok. A lot of drills are free on YouTube. Original problem never fixed by the way. I gave it an honest try because I never committed to a series of lessons. You will be better off going to your local course and getting lessons from the pro. And wanted to charge $100 plus for driver "fitting". None of that goes towards purchase btw. I felt like I did not get any better. I'm a mid to high 80's player if that helps. Don't go. Save ur money read more

Honestly If there was a zero star option this place wants it. I walked in and some Asian guy came to the front desk and asked If I had questions and I said yes lots, never been here before .. He said what is your question , I don't know what you do , never been here before , do you have instructors that understand the single plane, he said what difference does it make??? I said i don't know but that's the swing I use and if I am going to get an instructor I would like one that understand that concerto .. He fits me off and says , well maybe this is not your kind of place .. I said I don't know that I am just asking if you have instructors that understand that swing , He said I do and I know dual plane , stack and tilt .... but what difference does it make we do it the GolfTec way and this is not your place .. This guy won't be in business long , very rude , I simply did not know what GolfTec is all about and he came out with an attitude and being a complete ass. I had made a 6:30 appointment for my son to see a "professional " by the name of Eric Reed . What a joke this place is and a poor excuse of a "professional ". I had made arrangement to make my appointment time and rescheduled my day so that I get a fitting and he doesn't even bother to let me know he is running late . It was almost 7pm until walked in. He then expected us still to stay for the lesson . I said no thanks ! This place doesn't have any respect for your time .There are other professionals out there . One star is very generous ! I purchased golf lessons from Golftec in January '17. I bought a pack of 10 lessons and it was about 1,100 dollars, but I thought the technology and the establishment made it worth it. My coach was knowledgeable and friendly and after 5 lessons I felt like I was well on my way. I felt like I wanted some time to play on the course so I didn't go back for about 4 months, thinking I would see if any bad habits develop and I would go back. And I did take about 8 strokes off my game. All was good. So this month I noticed I was having some issues and it was time to go back. I scheduled an appointment but when I went online it didn't show that I had any. Apparently they had marked my account as inactive...after 4 months. So I called them and they tried to forfeit my remaining lessons due to inactivity but I had two lessons left and we could work it out when I got in. I went in for my lesson and brought up my concerns about my lessons being cancelled as I had paid for 10 lessons and nowhere does it say that I would lose them. They admitted that that is illegal in California. Then they said I had only 1 left...when I should have about 4-5 depending on if they count the swing evaluation. And to top it all off after that lesson my swing went from lacking in power to lacking in everything. I'm basically back to square 1. I really like the place up until my last experience, but yeah, I won't be going back. I can go to my local course for about a quarter of the cost and I won't leave there feeling like I just got screwed over at a used car dealership. read more

This is the place to improve your game if you're an avid golfer. GolfTEC is a full-service golf learning center with a knowledgably and professional staff. The facility consists of 4 indoor hitting bays fully equipped with state of the art equipment. Besides capturing video of your swing, the system can measure body and club position through-out the swing. This system provides excellent feedback for any type of learner. I also like the indoor facilities because it allows you to practice in the rainy winter months or hot summer months in total comfort. They also offer a 9 hole course lessons as part of the program. A golf swing is one of the easiest motions but difficult to master. GolfTEC uses a stepped approach to teach the correct mechanics. It first starts out with basics such as stance, posture, and swing motion, each taught one step of a time, mastering the step before going on to the next - striving to build the correct and efficient swing. Once going through the basic swing, you go back to work on the details of each step, trying to improve accuracy, consistency, and power of the swing. This step by step learning process is a fundamental and GolfTEC does a great job applying it to hitting a little ball as straight and far as you possibly can. GolfTEC also does club fitting as one of their services. Besides staff stiffness and club head type, Eric (a certified club fitter) looks at swing speed, shaft weight, shaft length, and location of the ball strike on the face of the club, to name a few. This process takes about 2 hours. I was amazed at the result, gaining an extra 10 yards for each club. After purchasing a Groupon for a golf swing analysis, they offered me a great deal on a lesson package. My instructor was Elliott Hall and he was fantastic, really helped my game, I was able to cut over 20 strokes off per round and got down to bogie golf. The video feedback is amazing, and I know they've updated their equipment since I've been in. While some people don't agree with indoor lessons, they were invaluable to me and I would highly recommend GolfTec. I worked with Jae who has impeccable listening skills. He carefully fitted me with a driver, woods, hybrids and irons. Anyone who knows me, has seen me and who plays or wants to plays golf and been in contact with me over the last 6 months (including the stretch where I had time off due to unrelated knee surgery) has heard me talk about how invaluable my experience with Golftec has been. If you wish to learn to play, I would tell you the ONLY way to go is Golftec. There is absolutely no way a human being couldn't learn a solid repeatable swing at this place. I have been working with Eric Reed, and I can't say enough good things. You can still work with all the other stuff you are doing but Eric and Golftec's methods of video analysis, recognition of key swing points, drills, etc.,are well worth the money. Went there for a club fitting. They lied for three weeks about the custom fitted club they had ordered as a result of the fitting. I received the club 2 weeks late just to find out it was a completely stock club I could have bought anywhere for less money. I tried to give them the opportunity to make it right and they decided to continue to lie and slander me instead. They also told me that Haggin Oaks would only try to sell me what they were overstocked in. I guess thats why Haggin Oaks is rated as one of the top 10 fitters in the country by the PGA and Golftec is not even on the map. These people are slanderous theives and liars DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM. I am giving them one star because the is no option for negative 10. Oh and by the way this is the first time ever I have felt the need to review any company for any reason. read more

Golftech Rocklin review. A+ for Elliot Hall I took about 20 lessons from Elliot in 2012. I'm 6' and in my 40s. Before I started I was 18 handicap and would break 90 on a good day. My driver was wild and about 220 yards. I didn't like how my swing looked on video, I had a major flip before impact. My goals were to eliminate the ugly flip, reach a few par 5s in two, and shoot lower scores Elliot helped me construct a new swing at a comfortable pace. He backed up everything he taught with videos of pros. I was amazed that my swing started to look like a good player (lots of drills for homework). Some concepts were easy for me to change, so we went quickly. Other parts (flip) took many sessions, where Elliot kept trying new drills and explanations till I got it. My scores lowered slowly till I hit a milestone, feeling club lag. I started to own and understand my swing. I haven't been back for a while but the improvement continues. Today I'm an 8 handicap, breaking 80 frequently. My iron lengths increased 2 clubs, hitting higher, longer and with spin. I occasional reach par 5s of 510 yards in two and recently drained my first ever eagle putt. My drives sometimes reach 290, although straighter, it's still a bit wild at times. read more
