The only issue I had was on one hole I don't remember exactly which one where I hit into a sand pit and the ball bounced right out, which affected my score. I wasn't too happy about that, but overall I still thought the course was good. Hopefully that sand issue gets fixed soon. He checked in online prior to us getting there. That's a first. There was a golf tournament that began prior to our tee time. That might explain the slow play. The threesome ahead of us said the foursome ahead of them kept dropping two balls. We noticed the same golf marshal driving around the whole time. The biggest thing - at least 4 times a golf ball came flying over to the wrong fairway. And the fairways were wide opened. Must be weekend warriors. Good thing we weren't hit. The only hazard other than water - Hole 6 - the dogleg blind spot hazard. We rounded the corner and then saw the barranca. Other than Hole 6 and the balls flying into the wrong fairways, it was a nice golf course. We'd play here again.

I was on the planning committee, and was happy we choose this venue. During set up, their staff was there to assist us with tables, table clothes, big displays, podiums, colored napkins to match our school colors and much more, all with good cheer and willingness. Their suggestions were very welcomed. The dinner was not just good, it was excellent. We offered attendees a choice of 5 different entrees, and each table was served all at the same time, and first table to last was under 5 minutes. Considering we were a big group (there were 107 of us) they serviced us well. They let us use their bar as a 'no host' bar, and the drinks were good and fairly priced. The food quality really was excellent. It was every bit as good as going to a fine restaurant and ordering off the menu. No one complained about anything, from the filet mignon to the squash ravioli. All of us were quite pleased. They even accommodated a few gluten-free meals and the like. The setting is also quite beautiful. They let us use their big patio right off the dining room for a memorial table and to hang out, and everybody commented on how nice the golf course looked. If you are in need of a nice venue, I would suggest you give them a buzz. Their Events Manager, Joel Chavez took good care of us.

It tasted like an old lime, which it did have an old lime on the rim... I couldn't find our server to see if I can change it so it just sat there. I feel like they need to have more staff to check on tables. We had a wave a server a couple times to place another order. There was a time where our time was ending and the food hadn't came out yet. I had a reservation scheduled, but my car broke down and I couldn't make it. I attempted to cancel the reservation through the app before the reservation time started, but the app simply would not let me cancel it. I then called Topgolf customer service and got trapped in one of the worst automated AI phone systems I've ever dealt with. It took roughly 20 minutes just to get the system to finally transfer me to an actual human being, and then I sat on hold for another 20 minutes waiting for someone to answer. When I finally reached a representative, they were able to cancel the reservation, but then informed me that my "free" monthly hour was permanently used and could not be restored or reimbursed -- even though I tried to cancel before the reservation began and their own app wasn't functioning properly. After that experience, I decided to cancel the membership entirely. Unfortunately, the problems continued. The cancellation section in the app repeatedly loaded as a blank page for days, making it impossible to cancel online. I eventually had to call corporate just to end the membership. What stood out most was the complete lack of customer care. Nobody seemed interested in fixing the issue, taking responsibility for the broken app, or even asking why I wanted to cancel or what they could do to keep my business. The entire experience felt like a company more focused on taking money than treating customers fairly. The games are fun, but the customer service, support system, and membership experience were disappointing enough that I can't recommend doing business here.

They lost a LOT of balls, They seemed to enjoy scrambling around in the thick brush, marsh areas and the stands of trees searching for their balls and finding others. By ball scrounging they were net positive on the ball count by hole #18. No groups behind us so the ball collecting forays were not a problem. Whitney Oaks putting greens are wicked difficult. Not just the hard fast surfaces but from the roly-poly topography. Severe elevation changes on most holes. There isn't a flat green on this golf course. So if you are up for a challenge, come on down. As an indicator of the course difficulty the black tees at the tips have been closed. The blue tees are plenty diffiicult even for scratch golfers. Despite the challenge here, I love this golf course. It's scenic, woodsy, the air smells fresh. I always finish the game 4.5 hours later with a relaxed smile no matter how well or poorly I played.
