To sum up my experience; this Avis location attempted to steal $278.86 from me. On Wednesday May 15, I called Avis and through their national customer service office, I rented a subcompact car as my personality vehicle needed some maintenance work. I arrived at this location and was told the vehicle I rented through the agent was not available and I would need to pay more for an SUV. Reluctantly, I agreed as I needed a car. On Friday morning May 16, I returned the car at the agreed upon time with a full tank of gas. I handed my keys to the same man at Avis that I had rented from two days earlie. He said I was all set and wished me a great day. Fortunately, I had the foresight to then take pictures of the rented SUV in their parking lot. Today, Monday May 19 I received an emailed receipt from Avis showing I returned the vehicle today and was being charged an additional $278.86. This was a lie as I returned the vehicle 72hrs earlier, on Friday May 16. After a 30 minute phone call and emailing the time stamped photograph to a National Avis representative, they agreed to refund that additional charge. This was at best, incompetents from the employee at this Avis location, or at worst, criminal activity attempting to charge a customer for a vehicle that was returned. I would recommend renting elsewhere.

I had hoped that I could transfer over from Enterprise as the pricing and location was better. Last Friday, July 3rd I rented the Kia Sorrento. This was part of the Reservation I had made through travelocity. When I picked up the car, there were things hanging off the front (oil filter door) and there was some weird white substance in the carpet. (see pictures). There was also a smell like a bad B.O. Order coming from the HVAC system. This was noted on the pink document. Because of lack of vehicle availability, the writer (not sure?) told me that it was a take it or leave it situation and that I could take the Sorrento and it would be noted. Something about they had 40 reservations that day and only 20 vehicles available to rent out. So I took the vehicle, picked up a ton of sanitizer to clean the interior and air freshener and just dealt with the continual scrapping of the oil filter door all weekend. I may have left the air freshener in the car for the next poor soul. Fast forward to this morning. I brought the vehicle in and was told that there are massive amounts of pet hair everywhere and that I will be charged 250 bucks. I can see a couple strands here and there, (see pictures) which was picked up from our clothing but given the disaster the car was in when we picked it up, it would be incredibly unethical to charge me to clean a car that wasn't clean when I picked it up. Look, I know things are crazy and the employee was doing what he is told. Which is why I had requested and am currently working this out through corporate. Moral of the story. Only rent here if you want to pay to clean it for the previous renter and vehicles that come predamaged Update! After about a week of back and forth with customer service, they have agreed to refund me the fee. Thank you corporate customer service!

When I got there to pick up the car, they took me out to a Jeep. I did not want a Jeep because it had big tires on it, and I am a short person making it hard to get in and out, and the mpg was poor. I had a long drive, costing me more in gas. However, the rep said there was no other car available to rent to me, even though there were lots of cars on the lot. She was very rude to me, even though I never raised my voice or used profanity. I was, however, obviously upset. She looked up other Enterprise locations and said they either had nothing or only had a Jeep. I find that hard to believe. She then offered me a more expensive vehicle. Eventually she said we cannot have a good business relationship and said, why don't you go to Avis and then ripped up the contract. I didn't want her to cancel just yet until I checked to see if Avis even had anything available. She put me at risk of having no vehicle on the date of my departure, despite having requested the rental over a week ahead of time. I think the Rep's name was Hannah but cannot be certain. I was fortunate to get a rental from Avis in the end, but I will never rent from Enterprise again. I repeat this story to everyone so they don't end up in this kind of situation. I been using them over 2 months now as i car look as mines finally died and if i ever have a concern ms Treasure fixes it in a heartbeat. Its rare i write reviews so that tells you her work ethic is SUPERB. If she is ever having a bad day you could never tell. This location stays busy and any issues Tresure on it ASAP. Give her a big raise shes the best hands down

Call 2 days ahead, confirm the rental, and ask how early can we pick our car up. They inform us since we paid online ahead, we can't pick the car up earlier than the exact time we chose(12 noon). Ok, I guess that's a protocol thing, sure, pick it up at 12. Come to 12 noon today, go over the Waterford/Pontiac location to pick up our car for a 2 week rental. Oh...you need a credit card on file. No, that's a debit card, we can't use that. Interesting since they didn't have any issue billing the over $400 on that Debit Card. I don't use credit cards....so I don't have one. So, easily enough we contact ENTERPRISE, and they have a car for us within 5 minutes. Yay Enterprise! They can't get it to us until 4pm, but they will be happy to pick us up to get the car. Yay again Enterprise! So, then of course I ask about refunding my car rental fee from Hertz. Oh, we can't do that in the office, you need to call this 1-800 number. Sure....sit on hold for 15 minutes, and finally get someone. Oh, since you paid online the refunds take 7-10 days to process. No, there's nothing we can do about it. Again, quickly and easily took over $400 for the rental, but it'll take a long time to refund it. Long story long.....NEVER.....EVER use Hertz, even if you're trying to save a few bucks. I'll be sure to let anyone looking for a rental car to contact Enterprise. Would give this review less than 1 star if I coukd.
