I was beyond impressed with the overall car buying/leasing experience at Waterford Mitsubishi. This…read morewas much different from the stereotypical experience one expects from an auto dealership. My salesman, Marquise "York" Tally was outstanding. Some auto dealerships talk about how the customer comes first, but this dealership, and specifically Tally, lives this mission daily. He puts his customers first making sure they're educated about the vehicle they purchase without all the high pressure tactics you've come to expect from the industry. Besides treating you like royalty, Talley also makes sure that you're receiving the best deal possible without throwing in needless add-ins at the end to bloat the price and confuse you. To tell you how much Tally cares about the customer experience, while I was waiting for my new '24 Outlander PHEV to be prepped for purchase, he bought me dinner and personally delivered it to the dealership. I've never had a car salesman do that. Heck, my wife wouldn't even do that. This isn't something he did to persuade me to purchase the car since I had already signed the papers. He did this out of the goodness of his heart and to create a customer for life. During my original test drive, he went out and purchased a Starbucks beverage of my choosing. I've never received this level of appreciation from my former salesman at the Acura or Lincoln dealership. And those are considered "luxury" brands where the dealership experience is supposed to be at a higher level. Neither beat the Waterford Mitsubishi experience. Even after I signed on the dotted the line, the royal treatment continued by both the finance and sales manager. Each of them made sure I was completely satisfied with my purchase and that any issues I had with my new Mitsubishi, were remedied to my satisfaction. Folks, I've been to many auto dealerships throughout the years. Simply put, this was the best auto dealership I've ever been to. If you're in the market for a new Mitsubishi or a used vehicle, take a trip out to beautiful Waterford, Michigan and experience this gem of a dealership. No matter how far you live from the dealership, it's worth the trip to experience an A++++ auto buying experience. Be sure to ask for "York." And tell him Brett sent you. P.S. The Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV is a fantastic vehicle. I recommend the SUV as much as I do the dealership.

Everything was going great until it came time to fill out some paperwork. Gillette handed me unfilled out paperwork and ask for my signature. I told him I was uncomfortable signing unfilled out paperwork and if he could fill it out first. He said he didn't want to fill it out because he didn't want to put in the wrong information. It was for a $500 rebate we all agreed upon. He said his manager would fill it out later. I had a bad feeling in my gut because this was so unprofessional. I took the paper with me until the manager could fill it out. He handed me more things to sign that you couldn't even read because the ink blurred out the words. I told him to reprint it so I can see what I'm signing. Turns out we weren't even getting the car that we agreed on from the beginning, and it had a total different VIN #! They had us thinking it was the car we originally came in for. The manager just said well we are almost finished with the signing, so let's just continue anyway. The car price that we came for was a $650 difference, and he wouldn't give us that same deal. I forgot to bring back the rebate paperwork because he never offered to fill it out in front of me with my signature. He made me come back, which made me super late to pick up my child from school. I told him if he would have filled out the paperwork correctly the first time instead of being shady, I wouldn't have to come back and do this. I told him I won't sign unless he filled out the paperwork in front of me first. He then rights 500 with no dollar sign and asked me to sign. We later learned that the rebate was actually $2,500, and he just gave us $500. I wonder where the other $2000 will go and why he wanted to fill out my rebate for later after I signed..... watch out for this place.

It gives me a lot of anxiety. The first question I asked was "do I have to negotiate because I'm scared" and I was blessed enough to be working with Linda Kelly, who said we don't negotiate because our prices are better than blue book. I'll start from the beginning, I was dying to get myself a stingray Corvette and I called a lot of dealerships and some told me they had one and they made it really difficult to get in but not Linda. She told me that she would have it ready for me to test drive as soon as I get there and when we arrive she was super kind super helpful and allowed me to take it for a spin. I came back in knowing that I wanted the car. I was really anxious. I wanted to make sure I was making the right choice. She provided me with every single document that I could ever need regarding the purchase price inspection. Hi history of the vehicle and just comforted me during the entire process, because it was not a cheap by, and I kinda needed my hand, held for a little bit because it was my first vehicle that I purchased all by myself. The manager was also an amazing man who really helped me feel more comfortable about my purchase and explain to him that I've been ripped off before and I wasn't even alone when it happened. He just had so much compassion for that and I didn't have to negotiate a single penny because it was already under market price. All in all, it was a fantastic experience that left me feeling great, and I would easily purchase another vehicle from them!!

As an automotive professional, it's frustrating to see customers misled by poor technical…read moreexplanations from a dealership that should know better. We recently had a customer come to us extremely upset after visiting this dealership, and for good reason -- he was given blatantly incorrect and misleading information about a transmission we installed. The vehicle was fitted with a Jasper remanufactured transmission, which includes a new torque converter as part of the unit. The dealership told the customer the torque converter had not been replaced. This claim is false and also impossible to verify without removing the transmission -- something they did not do. They also told the customer the transmission contained the "wrong fluid." Again, this is an unsubstantiated claim. Fluid type cannot be identified without taking a sample and having it tested, which was not performed. The transmission was filled with Mobil 1 Full Synthetic LV HP, exactly as required by Jasper. To add to the misinformation, the dealership pointed out a zip-tied shifter cable as if it were related to the transmission install. The vehicle arrived in that condition, and this is a very common, well-documented issue on these Chevrolet trucks. The manufacturer has since updated the part. Replacing the shifter cable is a separate repair, requiring additional labor and cost (typically around $500), which the customer had already declined due to budget limitations. Providing customers with technically inaccurate information -- especially information that cannot be verified without disassembly -- is irresponsible and creates unnecessary confusion and stress. We stand fully behind our work, which was completed to Jasper's exact specifications. Based on this experience, I would strongly caution others to question the accuracy of technical explanations given here.

What honestly can I say about these people at Feldman Hyundai? Nothing I could type would give them…read morethe justice they deserve for putting my confidence back in humanity. They bring big time deals in an atmosphere that screams family/friend owned. A little history: I purchased a Hyundai Sonata from a dealership elsewhere and quickly found out the previous owner ran her pretty hard. After a lot of engine jargon and frustration on my end and I'm sure theirs, I discovered I needed over a $10,000+ repair. I'll be honest I did not handle myself well because apparently the 100k/10 year warranty is for the first owner so I thought I was boned. The people at Hyundai went to bat for me to corporate and decided to stand behind their product and essentially replaced the engine at no cost to me. After this was done I had no problems with the car and don't own it simply because I let my dumbass brother borrow it and he totaled it. It feels nice to see a company stand behind their products and be truly proud of what they are doing. I feel so strongly about this that I recently brought my mother in to help her get a new car. After what I can only describe as a disastrously unprofessional experience she had at Brighton Ford she was in a state of car buying PTSD. I cannot blame her and don't like dwelling on negative energies, but you can see my review of them on my account I'm sure. She ended up Escaping her Ford Escape and landed in a brand new Sonata Hybrid Limited. She absolutely loves it BUT it is nice to know that she COULD return it if she wanted to within a reasonable time frame if she changed her mind. Nice to know I can trust a company to have my mom's back in a world known for its money hungry greed and slimy sales deals. I won't even have to go in with her when she can't get her USB working somehow for some reason only old people could do. Edit: I want to thank everyone past and present at the Hyundai Feldman who helped me out with my vehicle, and especially a shout out to Brandon who went above and beyond for my mother on this most recent purchase.

**Joe Lunghamer Chevrolet - Service Department (Not Sales)**…read more I've given this some time before writing because I wanted to be fair. My first visit in July 2025 for an oil change was smooth and easy. No complaints. Fast forward to February 2026... and wow. Completely different experience -- and not in a good way. I made an appointment online, received multiple confirmation texts, and showed up right on time. When I arrived, they couldn't find my appointment -- and apparently couldn't find *anyone's* online appointments. I had to show them the text confirmations just to prove I wasn't imagining it. Then, during check-in, they struggled to enter my Chevrolet Tahoe into their system. I overheard them say it needed 8 quarts of oil. My model year requires 6. Good thing I was paying attention. I was then told management instructs them to quote **two hours** for an oil change. Even with an appointment. That's surprising enough -- but it got better. They had trouble printing my paperwork. The one positive? They informed me I had Chevy/GM rewards points that could cover the oil change. I didn't even know I had points, so that was appreciated. They finally took the vehicle back. After 2 1/2 hours of waiting, they came out with a list of "critical" repairs totaling several thousand dollars. None of these items were mentioned during my July visit just months earlier. I declined and asked if my oil change was done. I was told they inspect first and then do the oil change. Five minutes later, they told me the oil change was complete. So... which is it? I dealt with Melissa and I don't believe a word she told me. Uggg. Customer service throughout was poor. Rude staff, eye-rolling, and at one point I overheard a disparaging remark about me while trying to resolve the rewards points issue. The cashier initially claimed they couldn't access the points system and basically said "too bad." I wasn't leaving without using points they themselves told me about. After digging through old emails on my phone and insisting, they finally applied them. Three hours for an oil change that I'm not even confident was performed properly. To top it off, I drove away and immediately got a warning that my rear hatch was open. This also happened during my July visit. I had to pull over and shut it myself. The facility itself feels dated and not especially clean. They put out donuts for customers, but I saw more employees eating them than customers. No complimentary car wash either. I had my BMW serviced two days earlier at the BMW dealership, and the difference in professionalism, organization, and customer experience was night and day. If you're buying a Corvette or a $70K Tahoe, you'd expect better treatment from the service department. I won't be returning.

But when you call and ask direct questions you may not get the complete/honest truth. My example, I found a car '64 chevelle, asked if there were any visible signs of corrosion in the paint. He guaranteed me there were none. Paint was perfect as the car had been frame off restored and only driven 300 miles since. I asked again, since it was a northern car ... again I was assured car was clean. I said I wanted to hire an inspector since I am in Texas, buying the car unseen. To which he replied I need to leave a deposit for hold it for awhile. A non-refundable deposit. I was a bit surprised, but assumed the car would check out. As with any classic car, there are problems. And their were numerous issues with the car. Lots of bolt on type things, easily solved with tinkering. And hey... I actually like the challenge of replacing a broken window motor, or fixing broken switches, etc. No complaints there. It is what it is. BUT... that corrosion I was assured was not present was easily spotted in the inspection. And I have owned enough classics to know what this means and the $ required to correct. I called them to explain my concern and that I am not interested in a car that has corrosion and repaint in the near future. I did NOT use this to negotiate the price lower (not my style)...just that this is not the car for me. Asked politely about the deposit and potential refund as I felt the car had not been represented accurately. They responded that they held the car for me (their end of the deal) and would not give a refund. Whatever, it's their policy and I am not going to get bent out of shape over $500, or the $500 inspection fee that are lost. (By the way, Michigan Auto Inspection Services are great! Seriously use them...best inspection I have ever seen!) Advice: Get an inspection no matter what. And be leery of non-refundable deposits...
