The shinning star of the entire project was Troy, from day one we knew he was understood our vision and had our best interest in mind with every decision we had to make. He checked in with us regularly, kept us abreast with everything happening and whenever an issue arose (which were all minor and expected) that we were presented with pros/cons for each solution. The fire pit installed by this company exploded into my girlfriend's face. We had an independent professional company come out to inspect the unit and the gas line. Their findings were shocking: the gas connection was completely loose. This negligence allowed gas to build up inside the fire pit structure, which caused it to explode upon ignition. Because of the physical injuries sustained and the absolute gross negligence regarding a gas installation, we are now taking this company to litigation. If you value the safety of your home and your family, stay far away from this business. A "loose connection" on a gas line is not just a mistake--it is a deadly hazard. We are currently in the process of legal action to hold them accountable for the damage and trauma they have caused. Zero stars. Avoid at all costs.

As the project got underway it became apparent that a simple replacement with a different material wasn't sufficient. No, we imagined something grander -- which kept evolving -- and resulted in what can only be described as a work of art on our property where dirt and rotting wood once stood. Bryan's crew -- Benancio and company -- are a world-class team of builders and problem solvers. Even though the quote was not the lowest, it was reasonably priced and they were the only contractors that answered a lot of my concerns. I had several quotes from numerous contractors and all; expect Majestic Hardscape, just give me a price. This was concerning to me because we live on a hill and the side of our yard slopes. Every contractor just suggested laying concrete to the way it slopes so water would run off the hill. Bryan was the only one who suggested that this will need further attention, such as a retaining wall in the future otherwise it will just get worse over time. They were able to level the concrete the way we wanted and recommended us to eventually level the rest of the yard in the future. They even went out of their way to take some of our old stacking bricks and used them as a temp retaining wall to aid the sloped yard. There were a couple of mishaps such as: The day he was scheduled to take out the palm tree, he was a no-show and my husband had to call him an hour after he was supposed to arrive. Then, the day after that incident, was the fruit tree transfer. He and his team forgot to bring their dolly. Thank goodness my Dad had one so they borrowed it, but now we have the burden in taking it back. Despite these mishaps, Noe was very knowledgeable and professional in his mannerisms.
