Pearl Milk Tea and Lemon Wintermelon Basil
Generous Y.

Address is incorrect but this is one of the postings for Gong Cha in The Domain. The actual location is a small walk south. Gong Cha is an interesting chain because they can be super inconsistent across locations. When they're doing well, they're at the top of the food chain as far as chains are concerned but they can also miss really hard. The drinks here were pretty good but boba would fall closer to the bottom of my scale. Service and boba as a topping missed here. This location in particular felt unfriendly. Went in to pick up an order and had no acknowledgement whatsoever. Had to announce that I was here to pick up and got the fastest "not ready" response while walking away because it was too much hassle to pause for a second and make eye contact. Very snobby and dismissive, behavior that makes for a terrible impression. Pearl Milk Tea - a classic of all time, the milk tea is a solid creaminess with a hint of tea. Gong Cha does particularly well on the creamier taste, this location isn't much different. Boba however, was clumpy and firm. Tasted fairly old at noon and lacked flavor. Lemon Wintermelon Basil - nostalgic Hong Kong lemon tea flavor with a kick of wintermelon sweetness. This could be a new favorite especially with the heat. Refreshing, cool, and slightly sour tartness are all enhancements to the sweetness. At 30% I believe it's still fairly sweet by nature and going down to 0% is a viable option. If you're adventurous and want a new drink, I highly recommend this. If wintermelon milk tea is one of your go-tos but it's a hot day and you want something more refreshing, this is your calling.

$3 large iced tea special! Paid for milk foam & pudding

Gong cha serves consistent and good quality stuff! They are a global chain and very well know. Their teas alone are brewed very well, with lots of variety on their menu. Because this location is at the Domain on a street with lots of foot traffic, it can get pretty busy. But drinks come out relatively quick. It's kind of a small shop so seating is a bit limited. You can order at the front or at the kiosk! Restroom for customer and free WiFi! They have a rewards system and they send promos quite often. This time I had a 25% off total so yay!

I really had a great experience in Gong Cha! I tried a Passion Great Tea with mango pearls that was super refreshing and not too sweet (I love that they asked you how much sugar you want). The place is small but cozy and they were all super friendly.

Crème Brûlée Brown Sugar Milk Tea

Reliable boba tea chain, this location seems to stay very busy with to-go orders and doesn't pay much attention to customers that need to place their order in store. I waited patiently for close to 10 minutes (in an empty shop) before the staff making drinks noticed I was at the counter. The drinks are great but I was pretty disappointed with the ordering experience.

Wanted an afternoon tea or coffee and saw the boba shop. Got two, both were crème brûlée but one was dirty brown sugar and one was strawberry. I like that you can chose the ice amounts, sugar amounts and the sizes were solid. Quick turnaround on times, not much to sit indoors but easy to walk and go. If you don't like boba they do serve straw less tops. Drinks hit the spot and exactly what I wanted in ice and sugar amounts.

We got a cup of milk foam green tea ! We kinda wanted to replace real milk with other plant based milk but the staff said no to us. At other place, they could replace it for plant based one so hope they become flexible to the customers needs.

Large Thai tea with pearls
Chelsea L.

I've ordered from Gong Cha many times but today's experience was not ideal. Tip: they don't have Thai tea listed on the menu, but you can ask for it, which was what I did. The Thai tea is good. This is mainly a review on my customer experience. I am a frequent Gong Cha customer-I know they ask for sugar and ice levels, so I ordered a medium (the smaller size) Thai tea with regular levels. The cashier then asked me what levels and I was a little annoyed because I already told him. They usually remind customers that pearls cost extra. I didn't mention it and neither did the cashier, so I thought that was good because I didn't need pearls. The payment screen didn't show up-I didn't know how much I was paying until I inserted my card and the payment was already approved...for around $14! So I asked why am I paying $14 for Thai tea? The cashier asked "didn't you order two?" I did not, and he should have confirmed this with me. So then, he proceeded to refund this money back to me and gave me a large Thai tea with pearls for free. (I didn't order pearls but free is free).

Earl grey milk tea at 50% sweetness
Deborah L.

I was pleasantly to surprised to find they have earl grey milk tea, my favorite! At 50% sweetness, it's just right. You can customize how much ice you want in your drink. Stopping here is a must if your strolling through Rock Rose Domain. Right next to Hat Creek Burger!

Went to get a few bobas for the family and was able to get it quickly. There was no line when i had entered though there were a few people sitting inside and a few waiting for ordered. I got my usual ordered but was surprised that they didnt have the aloe topping but other than that everything about the ordereds come out great.

I am a California native so seeing a Jamba Juice so close to me was oddly nostalgic. I didn't…read morerealize I was missing it until it was right in front of my face! When you first walk in, it's very bring and vibrant which just really gets you in the mood for a smoothie. The person working the register was very kind and welcoming. She was incredibly helpful- helping us decide, reading off Ingredients, and even happily making changes. We ordered three smoothies: Medium Caribbean Passion Small Greens 'n Ginger (with passion mango juice instead of lemonade) Kids Strawberry Blueberry I personally think a small is a great size, the medium is just too much smoothie for me. I enjoyed my Greens n Ginger but the frozen kale gave off a very "freezer burnt" and old veggie taste which was very off putting. I love kale but I guess I don't love frozen kale. I think if fresh kale was used or maybe just freshER frozen kale it might've been an absolute win for me. I usually grab the mango a go-go which is just delicious. My friend enjoyed her Caribbean passion very much! I thought it was a bit too tart but if you're into that- go for it! My son liked his blueberry smoothie but didn't finish it so we'll be making it into gummy bears in the morning lol. They are a joint store with Annie's Pretzels and while I was VERY tempted, we opted out of those delicious doughy little bites. But next time? Nobody's safe! There are a few soda and lemonade options if you're not really the smoothie type of person. All in all this was a good experience I just think I'll try something else my next visit. Maybe a smoothie bowl!

This Jamba location is a little closet of a store, made even smaller by the fact that they share…read morethe space with Auntie Annie's soft pretzels. The two concepts seem diametrically opposed, but I'm not the one forming brand alliances over here. So, it smells like an odd combination of yeast dough, butter, and celery juice all at once. You can find all the basic fruit and vegetable combinations in drinkable form, blended or pressed. The menu is bereft of food items, like the steel-cut oats I love so much, likely as a concession to Auntie A's. Service is fast, especially if you order ahead, the drinks are refreshing, and the smarter choices are a good infusion of nutrition on the go.

Amazing product and service. Loved the cherry bomb sampler. Thanks for delivering to volente!!read more

I first saw Cordial Creations at the Austin Chocolate Festival this month and my interest was…read morepiqued. They were supposed to be offering samples of their Butter Rum and Dark Mocha cherries, but I guess they had some Grand Opening issues, so they were offering some of their Dark Mocha ganache instead. I tried some and it was really good. So, I took a business card and later that night I ordered some of their cherry cordials online. I ordered the sample pack - a one dozen cordial mix of both the Butter Rum and Dark Mocha cherries. A few days later, I got a text telling me that my cherries would be delivered in the morning. They do have local delivery within Austin, and even though I am in Cedar Park, my cherries were hand delivered by none other than the same nice guy who was at the Austin Chocolate Festival - in the freezing morning cold. Well, kudos for that! Anyways, on to the cordials. These are no ordinary cherry cordials, as the diagram on their website explains. These are maraschino cherries, wrapped in a thick layer of ganache that has either rum or kahlua, coated with Belgian chocolate. This is serious stuff, people. Not only that, but the Butter Rum cordials have been wonderfully half-dipped in a golden finish that makes them really beautiful. Then they are wrapped in colorful foil and set upon two layers of paper liners inside their custom plastic casing. I was very delighted to see the detail put into every step of these cordials! So how were they? Well, my husband and I shared a few with friends and ate the rest. They're gone... and we really tried to make them last. Everyone truly enjoyed them including ourselves and I'm contemplating making another order really soon, and maybe even sending out a bunch locally for Christmas. Butter Rum: These were my husband and I's favorite. The butter rum ganache was amazingly creamy - it went really well with the chocolate and the cherry. Dark Mocha: We liked these ones too, but because the ganache in these are chocolate, it was a little bit of chocolate overload but still incredibly good! If anyone is looking to try these guys out, they seem to be making the holiday craft fair circuit. Anyways... I had a fantastic experience with Cordial Creations and really hope that they stick around. I think their unique cordials are fantastic. Thanks for everything!
