I was in Fort Worth for a week and managed to visit Gong Cha several times! All the staff were super friendly and accommodating when it took me forever to make up my mind. Lol I tried their lychee tea and their milk tea. Both were good, but I preferred the lychee one for the sweetness. Their boba was cooked well too. They have a ton of drink options but not many topping options. My family and I were bummed that they didn't offer lychee jelly. A few of us ordered their coffee jelly and they were huge chunks. It was hard to suck up the straw. Extra points for their music playlist! They had lots of kpop playing while I visited and I just loved it! They also are one of the few locations that are carrying the limited edition BTS Idol tumblers. As an army, I was super excited to see this!! So glad they opened a location closer to North Fort Worth! Was going to the location on Beach Street prior to this one. The interior is so aesthetic and cute! Very welcoming and warm. Service is friendly and fast! Grand opening weekend was 12/11-12/12 and they were doing a BOGO promo for all their drinks. My go to is always the lychee slush, but decided to try the milk foam dirty brown sugar milk tea. Great boba, delicious drink! My boyfriend got the brown sugar milk tea and it was also amazing! This place is pretty new, so I'd give it a chance to perfect their recipes. But other than that, Gong cha is the best place to buy boba! Their boba is fresh and I love that they always have a great variety of teas to choose from. They also offer monthly specials and unique boba tea flavors. I also like how they have other desserts here too I bought a creme brulee and cupcake. Will come here again if I am ever on this side of town. This location may need to work on their customer service training. When I walked into this location today, the young lady at the front counter didn't greet me or ask what I would like to order. When I said hello to her, she said nothing back, so I looked up at the menu, thought about it, and decided to walk away without ordering anything. I ended up going to a competitor as there are several within a 1.5 mile radius. I've been there a few times over the last couple years and didn't have this experience, but the experience today turned me off. I don't want anyone there to get in trouble, but customer service training will help prevent the next guest from leaving and going to a competitor. read more

My kids had me driving all over town looking for boba tea. I had never heard of it, but thanks tik tok for giving my kids one more thing to ask me for....Gong Cha is a quaint little spot. They have a large selection of teas and a great staff. I got the passion fruit tea no sugar. The cool thing about this place is you can tell them if you want added sugar, or how much you want. I love the way they will customize every drink to your liking. The other cool thing is that the drinks come with a sealed cover on top. It's $5+ for 1 drink, but it's surely worth a visit. Pretty average. Milk Tea was not bad but boba could've used some work. I ordered a Wintermelon milk tea with 30% sweetness and boba. The boba looked so sad when the guy was scooping it out for us since it looked like it had been sitting by itself with no brown sugar or anything in it. Wasn't as chewy as I had hoped for but sufficed enough with the milk tea which was pretty good. Would've gone for an even lower sweetness level next time since 30% was still pretty sweet. Definitely have had better but will do if you're desperate for a boba fix. read more

This is one of my favorite boba tea locations. They are always doing some sort of promotion for their drinks and that makes me way more likely to go! Their drinks are always delicious. Remember 70% sweet is the regular sweetness. I usually do 50 or 25% sweetness level. It's in a good easy to get to location as well. My wife and I decided that we would try this place. We ordered a steak and chicken combo with fried rice and vegetables. We split it and I'm glad we did because these are huge portions. The steak was very tender and good and the chicken was done just right. I think next time will do half-and-half on the rice and the noodles. Everything looks good from the pictures on the wall. The green milk tea was excellent! I had regular everything and it tasted great! Not too bitter, but not too sweet either! The boba was chewy with a bit of sweet flavor to it that is just noticeable. Very clean restrooms! I've tried the green milk tea at the gong cha locations in Richardson, and Carrollton but this location did the green milk tea justice!! I've been to this location about 5 times now and every time has been exceptional with service and drinks! I've tried 6 out of the top 10 drinks and my favorite has been strawberry milk tea and dirty brown sugar milk tea so far. There has always someone in management there and have been super friendly and willing to let me sample some toppings or drinks.
