The teas are very flavorful and the milk foam is a nice touch and not too dense if you want something lighter and not too sweet. I prefer Kung Fu Tea's Milk Caps but these are also great when I want to taste the brewed teas more. read more

This place is not very good. I've had better Gong Cha places and this was my least favorite for sure. The drinks always taste watered down and when I say I want "regular" sugar it tastes like 30%. Then when I said this doesn't taste right can I switch it out. They told me that I already took a sip out of it so I just had to keep the drink. Tea is decent but this place I think has gone a bit downhill. My last two experiences were not good mainly due to service and the tea was over sweet on both occasions. Cashier forgets to ask for loyalty program until the order is "rung" and said it was "too late, sorry". Second time they accidentally rang me up for boba/jelly even though I did not get it and responded "sorry we can't do refunds". I will probably come back only when I am desperate for boba close by the area, if not I recommend going elsewhere even the Plano location seems more consistent. My friends and I are regulars here at this location because they open late (11pm on weekdays). But after today's experience, we might not want to come back to this location anymore. We really like the drinks but not the service. First of all, the store has the loyalty program (stamp card) that after certain number of drinks you'll receive a free drink ($5 credit). They could not honor their program, blaming their system. We were fine with it and still paid for our drinks. Secondly, I personally ordered a hot tea latte (soy milk, boba, pudding). The staff charged us extra money for the boba and the pudding, but my drink did not have pudding in it. And the drink was not made with soy. For someone who is allergic to milk or non-dairy creamer, he/she might have some serious consequences. Gong Cha staff needs to be extremely careful about handling customers' beverages. Hopefully the store can better train its staff on properly using the system and making sure drinks are made correctly. read more

I like the drinks...but I have yet to get a drink order correct every time I have visited. To be specific I have gone now since its been open a little over a handful of times. Their cashiers don't pay attention and constantly chatters with their fellow co workers this in turns takes the orders wrong...ex. missing basil seeds. Wrong pearls black instead of white or no topping at all. Etc. Please fix this issue or you will lose customers. read more

This Gong Cha is not representative of the other locations I've had in the US and in Korea. Their drink was lacking in any tea flavor, and I've had order mix ups the two times I went. Hopefully since this place is relatively new, they will iron the kinks out. There are a few tables inside and a table or two outside for seating. I don't leave a lot of reviews, but I have to say that I am extremely impressed with this place versus a lot of the boba/tea places in the DFW. I heard it was super packed when it first opened, so I waited for a opportunity to visit well after the grand opening.. While on a long wait for dim sum at Kirin, we searched for something nearby and decided to drop in. It was heads and shoulders over what you experience at comparable tea shops.. We arrived to a line of about ten people and only twenty minutes to spare till we needed to head back I had a traditional milk tea with boba and my girlfriend had a taro milk tea.. I was anxious to make it back before possibly losing our place in line at the dim sum spot. I ordered a traditional milk tea with boba, my girlfriend got the taro milk tea, and a friend got a tea with the salt milk foam.. My drink was true to my expectations, but the other two drinks were crazy good! The taro had a lot of great flavor and the salt milk foam on the other was oddly addictive. Best of all, we did not wait long and were able to make it back to our other restaurant with plenty of time! I hope they keep up the level of quality and we will be coming back! read more

My top drinks here are the Green tea milk foam, Earl grey with 3J's and the Lemon Aiyu with white pearls. Definitely try those out because they're unique to the place and cannot compare to other boba places. This place usually has a wait for their drinks but it's worth! The teas here are also brewed fresh so the drinks may be a little watered down because of how hot the tea is, but it is still really good! I would recommend giving this place a try even after all the hype. read more

There was alot of hype after this place opened and I was looking forward to trying this place. I'm not a big Boba fan because I haven't found a place I really liked. I tried the matcha milk tea with red bean and got my daughter the oreo slush drink. My drink was ok. There wasn't a strong matcha flavor and kind of tasted watered down. The red bean wasn't as sweet as I was expecting. I was a bit disappointed. It's hard to find a place that can make a good matcha drink that comes through with that nice matcha flavor. I had a sip of my daughters drink and enjoyed it more. It tasted like an oreo milkshake. Customer service wasn't the greatest, but wasn't terrible. New favorite boba place. I'm happy they opened one closer to home in Richardson not that I didn't mind driving to Plano... I get the soy green tea latte with pudding (regular sugar and ice) and it is just perfect, EVERYTIME. The pudding is just the right consistency where it's not disintegrating in the drink but not hard gelatin-like (Magic Cup is notorious for this) where you can't suck it up through your straw. The only few points of criticism is the servers are not always very welcoming and gracious, sometimes orders and accommodations are not taken correctly. my go-to place for boba for sure. i work at a boba shop myself, and have gone to many in the DFW area, and this is my second favorite boba shop! the workers are pretty friendly, their teas are pretty good, but their boba is exquisite. it's always a great texture and amazing taste, which is rare to find. my favorite is the brown sugar milk tea, 100% sweet. their taro smoothie and coffee milk tea, also 100% sweet, are also super great! sometimes they do take quite a while to make the drinks--even when they're not busy--but personally, it's worth the wait. read more

Tea was a bit bitter. I usually like my milk tea on the strong side, but it was a bit much. The foam was really good, it was creamy with a twist of saltniness, but not too overpowering like some other places. Would be a nice place to hang out if it wasn't so loud. Horrible. Assumed since it's a weekday at 130pm that there won't be a crowd and it won't be too busy. Well, I was right. There was about 6 people in line ahead of me but around 20 other people hanging out..or so, I thought. I find out that they were actually waiting for their drinks! I ordered what I usually do at Kung Fu Tea -- a wintermelon tea , less sweet...but this time, I was RUDELY informed that they cannot make it any less sweeter or change up the level AT ALL. Now, I am not a boba tea maker or barista but I know that they use wintermelon syrup for this and I am sure I can control the amount of syrup I would like in my tea. Ok, fine, I'll deal with it this time and make a mental note of that for later. Well, 45 minutes later and my ONE drink is still not ready. There are 4 people working behind the counter , 20+ people waiting on drinks. I don't know the art of tea, but I don't think it takes this long to make ice tea, coffee, or anything. Heck, I can whip out a pot of oxtail pho in my Instant Pot quicker than they can make me a cup of iced tea. Needless to say, I was very excited when I heard this was coming to Dallas--as I have visited many Gong Cha's abroad and this one has left the worst impression on me. Sadly, Dallas is making a mockery of this international tea brand. I was quite excited about their opening since I have been waiting for so looooong! However, it turned out to be kinda disappointing. It's nice they have opening promo Buy 1 Get 1. So y friends and I got Milk Foam Green Tea, Boba Milk Tea and Lemon Ai-Yu White Pearl. None of them taste okay...This is just too sad. - Milk Foam GT. The milk foam is super thin. It's like 1/4 of what they advertise in pictures. GT was too sweet and it doesn't taste like authentic green tea. It's more like sweet green tea we can get from Walmart. Kung Fu Tea's Milk Cap GT and 85's Sea Salt GT are much better than this. - Boba Milk Tea. way tooooo sweet! omg. And the worst thing is...we didn't drink it until few hours later but found boba were all stick together. They didn't break apart no matter how we shake it. I know we should drink it while it's fresh. But this is 1st time I ever seen.. - Lemon Ai-Yu White Pearl. This is also my favor one with GongCha. But this time it disappointed me. 1st, there is no Ai-Yu inside, or just very little, because the drink is mainly water-colored and I didn't drink of any Ai-Yu. If there is any, I should have seen light yellow jelly inside. Plus, there are a lot lemon seed mixed inside. Shouldn't it be filtered out?? Honestly, I think this is the worst Gong Cha I've ever had. I guess it just open and this is why everything is below average? Hopefully they can improve... read more

This business only excepts credit cards with a minimum purchase of five dollars also after purchasing a drink I tip them generously and when I receive my drink I asked for an extra cup they wanted to charge me $.50 more for it I definitely will not be back read more
